If you were hoping that Alien: Isolation would be getting a proper console sequel of some sort then you probably won’t like hearing that Alien: Blackout is now a mobile game that will be released for Android and iOS platforms. Announced by FoxNext Games, D3 Go, and Rival Games Alien: Blackout will continue the story of Amanda Ripley, Ellen Ripley’s daughter, who was the protagonist of the highly acclaimed horror game released five years ago.
Players will need to make use of the space station’s limited power supply to operate a holographic map, surveillance cameras, and motion tracker while trying to stay hidden and keep their crew alive across seven different levels all while the Alien’s unpredictable nature may make the game end at any moment. No release window was announced but you can check out the trailer below.
