Piranha Bytes and THQ Nordic announced that their action RPG ELEX will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows on October 17, 2017. A special Collector’s Edition will also be released at the same time, containing the following items:
- A 10-inch-high figurine of an Alb Mage
- A 2-inch amulet in the form of a combat drone
- A cloth map, showing the world of Magalan
- The original score on CD
- An artbook
- The game’s manual
- The game itself, obviously
In addition to the release date, a brand new cinematic trailer has premiered for ELEX. The two minute long trailer is set to Benj Heard’s “Whatever Doesn’t Kill Me (Better Run)” and features some great Matrix style bullet time shots starring the various factions in the game.
