The release of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are just over two weeks away in the land of the rising sun and Nintendo are ramping up their marketing efforts, releasing a brand new three and a half minute video showcasing everything from story elements and Mega Evolutions to secret bases and super contests. We finally get a glimpse of what diving will look like in the game as well as some other strange features such as a Pikachu’s tail sticking up in the middle of some wild grass, which at the moment we are guessing just means you can go up to it and battle it without ‘stepping’ on it. For those that like filling their secret bases with dolls, you will be happy to know it looks like a huge variety of stuffed dolls will be coming back for you to place in your secret base.
The official release date in Australia and for most of the world is November 21st. Those that preorder the game at EB Games and other select vendors will receive a mini figure of either Groudon or Kyogre depending on the version they choose. Interestingly, these figures are different to the ones that are being offered as a bonus with the Japanese release. If physical copies aren’t your thing, the downloadable version of the game will weigh in at 1.8 GB.
