With the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto V, EB Games have decided to host a massive official launch party in World Square, Sydney on Monday, September 16 at 9.30pm.
Debra McGrath, EB Games National Brand, Events and Engagement Manager stated, “Grand Theft Auto (GTAV) is no ordinary game, so we wanted to go all out and give our customers a launch like no other”.
The free GTAV launch party will feature:
- Live DJ performances: Alison Wonderland, Leah Mencel + Lee Monro and The Havknotz
- Competitions: Burrito Eating and GTAV Cosplay
- Free Burritos for the first 400 customers
- Rockstar Games Merchandise
- EB Expo ticket giveaways
- Collect your pre-ordered and paid copy of GTAV at midnight
Everyone is welcome to attend this free event, however if a customer wishes to pick up a copy of Grand Theft Auto V at midnight and get more free burritos from Guzman Y Gomez, they must pre-order and pay in full for their copy of the game at the following EB Games locations: Eastgardens, Bondi Galeries, Broadway, Marrickville, Chatswood, Chatswood Chase, Royal Randwick, Greenwood Plaza, Maroubra, EB World Square, Darling Harbour and Birkenhead Point.
The after party follows the midnight release of GTAV across EB Games stores in over 320 locations across Australia (excludes WA- available from 8am September 17). Don’t miss out on the most anticipated game of the year!
