Recently on his Formspring profile, Binding of Isaac creator Edmund McMillen, announced that the game will be expanding from the PC onto consoles. The expansion will have around 50% more content then the PC version (Wrath of Lamb expansion included) says McMillen, “The remake will be more than just an expansion, it will be a new game with all new graphics, music, etc it will also feature an expansion sized pack of all new content, bosses, characters enemies, items etc”. Along with brand new content, there will also be a local co-op mode, which is pretty exciting news!
No word yet what consoles the game will be ported too, but given the lack of success with the 3DS version of the game, can we expect Nintendo to not be one platform this Indie game will make it to? McMillen is hopeful it can make all platforms, but we will have to wait and see.
