Anarchy Reigns is fully developed and ready to ship despite Sega’s Q1 2013 delay

Yesterday Sega revealed that, for some unknown reason, Anarchy Reigns was delayed all the way until early 2013. While this was a surprise to us gamers, it also happened to be a surprise for the developers of the game, Platinum Games. Producer Atsushi Inaba responded to fans today in utter surprise and explained everything he knew.

He began with saying that the company is ” done with all international versions of Anarchy Reigns. The delay is not due to further development of the game.” and even explained that “today’s Q1 2013 release news was the first we’d heard of it.” The region free Japanese release, with full English voice work and subtitles, will still be released on July 5th and is prime for importing for those who don’t want to wait half a year for a complete game. As for Sega in America? They have remained silent about the reason for their asinine delay of a finished title.
