3DS playable this Thursday in Australia!

This weekend, Thursday February 10 between 6pm and 9pm, the latest handheld from Nintendo will be playable at select stores in the country.
The 3DS handheld is a gaming device that allows players to experience video games in diorama-like 3D.

The event(s) will be the first time that Australian customers will be able to get some hands-on time with the device before it’s (*still unspecified) launch.

Gamers in both Melbourne and Sydney will be able to play the 3DS at the following locations –

Sydney:

Thursday February 10 from 6.00pm to 9.00pm at Myer Sydney City in the Nintendo Connection on the 6th floor, 436

Melbourne:

Thursday February 10 from 6.00pm to 9.00pm at EB Games, 67 Swanston Street Melbourne in the Nintendo Experience.

One (or more) of our editors may also be attending one of the events that day, so keep an eye out for us.

Each store has it’s own ‘experience’ webpage – SydneyMelbourne.

*  Nintendo has a 3DS press event later tonight that Capsule Computers will be covering, expect to see a release date and time revealed.
