The follow-up to Shadowrun Returns has launched on Steam today. After a Kickstarter that pumped in an extra 1.2 million dollars to the development budget, Harebrained Schemes kicked into full gear to revamp Shadowrun: Hong Kong’s game systems, expand the universe, create a more beautiful version of the bustling Chinese port city, and develop a mini-campaign entitled “Shadows of Hong Kong.” The final game boasts over 15 hours of gameplay, a deep cast of characters, skill-based character progression, and combat that can be switched between turn-based and free-action modes. The “Shadows of Hong Kong” mini-campaign will launch in early 2016.
Shadowrun: Hong Kong is available now for $19.99 USD for Mac and Windows. The Deluxe edition is priced at $29.99 and comes with the soundtrack in MP3 and a PDF copy of The Art of Shadowrun: Hong Kong art book.
