Back when Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book was first announced Gust and Koei Tecmo only had a brief bit of story and a small teaser trailer to show off to fans. That changed a bit today when the company released the full trailer, though not too much.
In the trailer, found below, we see Sophie visit various areas in the game as she walks around town and fields at different times of day. Also shown is some footage of Prachta, is a mysterious book that can talk and move on its own that the amnesiac Sophie finds in her grandmother’s atelier. After a certain event allows her to take on the form of a human she serves as a teacher to Sophie, the only problem is she has very little knowledge about the world outside of alchemy.
Currently Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book is set to be released in Japan on September 25th for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.
