Challenge the Gods, Reclaim Your Love: SoulQuest to Arrive on Steam on May 1, 2026

Face the goddess of death in a spectacular side-scrolling hack-and-slash!

[Argentina] – April 8th, 2026 – SoulBlade Studio and indie.io are proud to announce that  the side-scrolling, hack-and-slash spectacular, SoulQuest, will arrive on Steam on May 1, 2026! As Alys, a freshly widowed Celtic warrior who refuses to accept the judgment of the gods, players will experience a story of loss and vengeance combined with stunning, fast-paced gameplay, slashing their way through hordes of enemies using a freeform, combo-based combat system that’s as intuitive as it is gorgeous to behold!

Morrigan, the goddess of death, has taken away Alys’ husband – but instead of meekly accepting their decision, she takes up her sword in defiance. Joined by the druid Abanus, the two embark on an epic journey to confront the Celtic pantheon, defy the fates, and challenge death itself to save her husband’s soul from oblivion.

SoulQuest draws on the rich legacy of Celtic folklore and Arthurian myths, combining them with a crisp retro aesthetic and medieval-inspired soundtrack for an unforgettable experience across iconic areas of the British Isles. Thanks to frame-perfect animations and responsive controls, players add their own beauty to the landscape, cutting through enemies using a flurry of moves that are as beautiful as they are effective at dispatching them.

This beauty is made possible by the freeform combat system at the heart of the game. It allows players to combine light and heavy attacks into dozens of combos, smoothly flowing from one animation to another – and beyond melee lie magical abilities and ultimates, allowing each player to define their own play style and defeat the forces of fate as they see fit.

The intuitive system is easy to pick up, but leaves plenty of room for growth and mastery: Enemies come in relentless waves and effective mixing of melee, magic, and ultimate powers can turn a chaotic bloodbath into a visual feast, as Alys cleaves through the hordes with surprising grave – with player efforts recognized on a combat scale from F to the coveted SSS identifying the truly exceptional among players.

Ready to take up the blade and throw down the gauntlet to Morrigan, the goddess of death? SoulQuest will release on Steam on May 1, 2026.

The Occultist is Out Now, Inviting Players into the Shadows of Godstone

Psychological horror unfolds in a world shaped by memory, ritual, and unease

Valladolid, Spain / Hamburg, Germany – April 8, 2026 – The Occultist is out now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Developed by DALOAR and published by Daedalic Entertainment, the first-person psychological horror game draws players to Godstone, a remote island where old rituals, buried memories, and unsettling truths still cling to the walls.

The Occultist builds dread through atmosphere, discovery, and the slow weight of what lies beneath the surface. Godstone is more than a backdrop. Its ruined paths, forgotten corners, and lingering echoes shape a world that feels unnerving, troubled, and alive with the past. As the story unfolds, exploration and narrative remain tightly bound together.

At the center of the experience is the pendulum, an occult tool that helps reveal hidden traces and guide the way through places marked by earlier lives and dark events. The game’s sense of unease is further deepened by rich audio design and an original score recorded with the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra.

Alan Rebels, the game’s protagonist, is voiced in English by Doug Cockle, best known as Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher game series. His performance gives the journey a steady human presence as Godstone grows more disquieting with every step.

Post-Apocalyptic Simulator City 20 Takes Players Deep Underground In The Bunker Update

New Bunkers, GPS Navigation System, Dialogue Improvements, and Rebalanced Loot and Enemy Encounters Available Now

April 8, 2026, Milan, Italy – Untold Games has released today the latest update for their post-apocalyptic city simulator City 20. Introducing underground environments, new navigation tools and key mechanical improvements, the Bunker Update takes players to a whole new level of City 20, both figuratively and literally.

Check out the launch trailer for City20’s Bunker Update here.

For the first time, players can now venture beneath the streets of City 20 and explore a vast network of bunkers and underground structures. These fully realised environments are filled with hidden lore, rare items and secrets waiting to be discovered. Designed to offer a darker and more atmospheric experience, the underground delivers a new sense of tension and discovery for those willing to brave the depths.

Supporting the expanded exploration introduced in Version 0.9 comes the GPS, a new gadget that provides players with a minimap directly in their HUD, allowing for smoother navigation and a more immersive exploration experience. By repairing GPS Repeaters, players can connect to local networks, enabling NPC tracking within specific zones, making it easier to locate quest givers, traders and other important characters.

Interacting with these characters has never been better with a full redesign of the Dialogue Wheel. With a new interface that focuses on clarity and ease of use, conversations are streamlined, and removing unnecessary layers of menus means players can stay immersed in the story while navigating interactions more naturally.

Loot distribution and enemy behaviour have also been rebalanced to reflect the new gameplay dynamics introduced in Version 0.9. While basic supplies remain on the surface, rare and valuable items will now be found mostly underground, rewarding players who take on greater risks. Those risks are enhanced by an expanded Atker threat, who now have an increased presence in underground areas and around Bunkers. They now actively guard high-tier loot, creating a more intense and claustrophobic atmosphere in the dark underground.

The Bunker Update marks a significant step forward in expanding the depth, immersion and challenge of City 20, and offers players new ways to explore, engage and discover secrets hidden beneath the city.

City 20 is available on PC in Early Access for $19.99. The Bunker Update is available for free to players who own the game on Steam and Epic Game Store starting today.
