Team Up for the Ultimate Co-op Pub Crawl in ‘Brews & Bastards’ on PC in Spring 2024

Boozy Dungeon Crawler’s First Steam Demo Featured in Steam Next Fest

DUNEDIN, NEW ZEALAND — 30 Jan. 2024 — Brews & Bastards, the co-op dungeon crawler with magical brews and drunken demons from developer Mune Studio, stumbles into the vast underbelly of Muneshine Tavern on PC via Steam in Spring 2024, and pregames with its first Steam demo, available now on PC ahead of February Steam Next Fest. The game will hit the bars on consoles at a later date.

Embark on an intoxicating quest to recover the enchanted Brew Stone from thieving demons and return endless alcohol to the masses! Navigate the unfathomably large dungeons beneath Muneshine Tavern solo or with a party of up to 4 dubious heroes wielding liquor-charged weapons. Take on this most urgent mission and become the bar’s most pie-eyed legend!

Tipsy monsters, tricky traps, and larger-than-life bar games line the maze of cellars, distilleries, and ancient depths in the tavern’s basement. Shoot cork bullets, drop big ass statues (literally!), throw Molotovs, and more at inebriated imps, goblins, and possessed jelly shots standing in the way. Step up to massive bosses in even bigger arenas and take part in supercharged tavern games.

Bounce through some giant-sized beer pong and take aim in a game of darts against boozy bosses to gather clues to the Stone’s hidden location. Find strength in numbers and take on this valiant mission with a party of up to four challengers in local co-op, or get rowdy with some beerific buddies from far away through Steam Remote Play Together!

Choose between a handful of adventurers, each with their own playstyle, weapons, and abilities. Mix and match with each run to create the ultimate demon-dusting squad fit to out-drink anyone, or anything! When the rooms, encounters, and traps differ with each run, the good spirits never have to end.

“We’ve traditionally seen taverns as the place where good times are born and stories begin and end, but what would happen if the quest never left the bar?” said Erekose Watson, Co-Creator of Mune Studio. “Brews & Bastards delivers an over-the-top answer that we hope will strengthen the bonds between your own merry crews. Cheers to new adventures!”

Brews & Bastards’ first Steam demo is now available for PC as a part of Steam Next Fest and will take on the tavern on PC via Steam later this year.

To learn more about Brews & Bastards, drink your way over to Mune Studios’ official website, head to the official Discord tavern, follow the team on the studio’s social media as well as Brews & Bastardssocial media, and search #BrewsandBastards on social media.

About Blumhouse’s Five Nights at Freddy’s

The terrifying horror game phenomenon becomes a blood-chilling cinematic event, as Blumhouse— the producer of M3GAN, The Black Phone and The Invisible Man— brings Five Nights at Freddy’s to the big screen.

The film follows Mike (Josh Hutcherson; Ultraman, The Hunger Games franchise) a troubled young man caring for his 10-year-old sister Abby (Piper Rubio; Holly & Ivy, Unstable), and haunted by the unsolved disappearance of his younger brother more than a decade before.

But Mike soon discovers that nothing at Freddy’s is what it seems. Alan Wake Fights the Darkness in Dead by Daylight

MONTREAL — Jan. 30, 2024 — Another one of his dark tales has come to life. Alan Wake, star of the critically acclaimed Alan Wake franchise, is Dead by Daylight’s newest Survivor. As the latest addition to the ever-growing roster of iconic horror characters, players can now step into the shoes of the troubled writer in this collaboration between Behaviour Interactive and Remedy Entertainment.

New Survivor – Forever the tortured artist

Alan’s mind-bending horror story has spanned several games since his introduction in 2010, with the most recent entry, Alan Wake 2, released in October of 2023 to critical acclaim. When we’re first introduced to Alan, he’s a best-selling author suffering from writer’s block. Though a trip to Bright Falls was supposed to clear his mind, it instead set off a nightmarish chain of events that led to his disappearance and imprisonment in the mysterious Dark Place.

While fighting to write his way to freedom and escape the Dark Place, he remembered a script he wrote for Night Springs about a horrifying place shrouded in fog. Those memories soon shaped reality as he was swallowed up into The Entity’s Ream and the world of Dead by Daylight—trading one Dark Place for another.

We’re thrilled for Alan Wake to finally be coming to The Fog as a Survivor,” says Mathieu Coté, Head of Partnerships at Behaviour Interactive. “It has always been clear to us that Alan was a natural fit for the Dead by Daylight universe. Both of our games draw from mutual inspiration and are celebrations of the horror icons that came before them. We’re excited to see how players react to his new nightmare—it seems like Alan can’t catch a break.”

Perks – The writer’s craft

With years of writing hit crime novels under his belt coupled with harrowing experiences in Bright Falls and the Dark Place, it’s safe to say Alan knows a thing or two about survival. He brings his wealth of experience into The Fog in the form of three Perks. Just like in the Alan Wake games, the light is the key.

  • His first Perk, Champion of Light, grants you additional movement speed while shining a Flashlight. If you successfully Blind a Killer, they get afflicted with the Hindered Status Effect, temporarily slowing them down.
  • Use Boon: Illumination to create a Boon Totem, allowing all nearby Survivors to see the Auras of Generators and Chests across the Map. When you have a lit Boon Totem, you’ll also Cleanse and Bless Totems faster.
  • There’s always a deadline creeping up. His third Perk, Deadline, activates when you’re injured, upping the frequency of Skill Checks while healing Survivors or repairing Generators. Should you happen to miss one, the penalty will be halved.

Relive shrouded memories with Tome 18: REVISION

When times get dark, sometimes memories are all you can hold on to. Tome 18: REVISION releases Jan. 31 to thicken the plot.

The Tome features new memories for Alan Wake, The Deathslinger, and the House of Arkham.

Progressing through the Rift and completing brand-new gameplay Challenges unlocks Charms, Outfits and more for several characters, including Alan Wake Player Card customization options and the Alan’s Darker Side Outfit on the Premium Pass.

New collections – Getting into character

Some of Alan Wake’s most iconic looks are making their way to Dead by Daylight. The Alan Wake Classic (Very Rare) Outfit features Alan with a short hairstyle, a battered head, and a blazer-hoodie combo. Fans may recognize this Outfit as the one worn for the majority of the first Alan Wake game, just after the incident that kicks off his dark journey.

The Bright Falls (Very Rare) Outfit offers a more relaxed look for Alan, fitting him in a checkered shirt and casual blue jeans.

In addition, two fan-favorite characters from the world of Alan Wake join him in The Fog as Legendary Outfits. With the Saga Anderson (Legendary) and Rose Marigold (Legendary) Outfits, players will be able to survive the Entity’s deadly Trials as the talented FBI agent and the Oh Deer Diner waitress respectively.

The Alan Wake Classic and Saga Anderson Outfits are available on Jan. 30. The Bright Falls and Rose Marigold Outfits will be available on Feb. 6.

The Dead by Daylight Alan Wake Chapter is available for purchase on all supported platforms now.

A unique limited-time event – Lights Out

A Map shrouded in darkness. No Loadout. No Terror Radius. No Scratch Marks. Forget everything you know about Dead by Daylight Trials.

On Feb. 7, Dead by Daylight will be releasing a special limited-time Modifier called Lights Out that adds a terrifying new layer of fear to the Trials players have grown accustomed to. Modifiers are brand new adjustments to the existing Trial format that offer players a unique and exciting experience.

The Lights Out Modifier will be available from Feb. 7 at 8:00a.m PST / 11:00a.m. EST until Feb. 14 at 8:00a.m PST / 11:00a.m. EST. Players would be remiss not to take advantage of this new and exciting feature. See you in the Dark.

FARMING SIMULATOR 22 BREAKS RECORDS: GIANTS SOFTWARE REPORTS 6 MILLION COPIES SOLD

  • What a harvest: Most successful Farming Simulator with 6M copies sold
  • Fertile soil: More mods than ever & 1.4 Billion mod downloads
  • Cultivated community: Multiplayer farms are on the rise

Virtual farms are thriving as publisher and developer GIANTS Software reports the growing success of Farming Simulator 22: Including the subsequent Platinum Edition & Premium Edition of the game, the self- published Farming Simulator 22 has sold more than six million copies since its initial release in November 2021. Other milestones have been reached in terms of multiplayer activity and available mods.

6 Million Copies and Counting…

“Seeing millions of virtual farmers active on our fields is a heartening affirmation of our enduring passion, ongoing commitment to the series, and self-publishing strategy”, comments Boris Stefan, Head of Publishing at GIANTS Software. “Our unique community reflects the same level of passion and dedication, growing further each day.”

More Mods & Major Multiplayer Increase

As the Farming Simulator series proves to be just as relaxing and rewarding, if not more so, in multiplayer as it is for solo farmers, GIANTS Software is pleased to announce an all-time high in server activity. With over 100,000 dedicated servers online simultaneously, the Swiss-based company is seeing an ever-increasing number of farms being managed collaboratively.

Farming Simulator 22 has also surpassed its predecessor in terms of available mods, with over 5,600 modifications available on the official ModHub. Hands-on tested by GIANTS Software’s internal QA team, these mods are accessible directly from within the game. With an impressive 1.4 billion downloads, representing approximately half of all mod downloads in the series since its inception in 2008, user-generated content continues to grow in popularity.

Farming Simulator 22 is available for PC, Mac, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
