Preserve is a puzzle nature-building game that takes players on a journey into a harmonious ecosystem. The objective is to foster and sustain a thriving and diverse biome, where each component coexists in symbiotic harmony. Brace Yourself: Nightmare Mode now available in Dying Light 2 Stay Human!

Techland introduces the much-anticipated Nightmare Mode to Dying Light 2 Stay Human

The new, fan-requested feature is aimed at players who want to get completely immersed in the game.

Today, we’re introducing the Nightmare Mode Update for Dying Light 2 Stay Human, which adds the hardest and most immersive difficulty yet and an array of additional elements. The main feature has been widely requested by the community, and it invites the players to rely on tactics and strategic management of resources in order to survive in the post-apocalyptic world.

“Nightmare Mode will provide the most challenging experience in the world of Dying Light 2 Stay Human. It requires total concentration and extreme caution on the part of the player and, in turn, delivers the highest level of immersion yet.” — Tymon Smektała, Dying Light Franchise Director

The new difficulty introduces changes to stamina management, called the Tactical Stamina system, limited HUD options for better immersion, and a flickering flashlight that goes out when used for too long. These and other additions serve to heighten the atmosphere of horror and refresh the experience for even the most discerning players. Those who manage to complete the game on this highest difficulty will be rewarded with the memorable Waltz Outfit.

The Nightmare Mode Update adds more features than just the new difficulty – such as general adjustments to the Infected and night experience. What is more, co-op players will be glad to hear they will now be able to take on the Community Maps with up to three friends. Archers will get reworked power shot mechanics. And personalization connoisseurs will have the opportunity to change the appearance of the Grappling Hook – don’t miss the free skin available on Pilgrim Outpost! Head there for more information on the latest update and check out the Dev Blog for a detailed look at Nightmare Mode.

To help us create unforgettable experiences for all Dying Light 2 Stay Human players, we invite them to join the conversation on Discord, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube – we’ll be waiting!

The Holy Gosh Darn: Manipulate Time, Confront Deities and Save the World

126-ish Days Until Time Travel is Possible

Bristol,  United Kingdom — April 18, 2024 | Time travel has taken many forms over the years, a blue box, a DeLorean, and even a hot tub. But now a golden stopwatch has taken up the torch as the master of time, space and so much more, as players will discover in Yogscast Games and Perfectly Paranormal’s The Holy Gosh Darn, releasing for PC and consoles this Summer.

The Holy Gosh Darn – which is set on the same Tuesday as Perfectly Paranormal’s previous games Manual Samuel and Helheim Hassle – is a truly laugh-out-loud adventure, spanning realms way beyond the imagination, where time is more of an idea than a hard and fast rule. Along the way, players will meet a cast of ridiculous characters as they insult heavenly elders, travel to hell, meet exactly 4,250 dogs, and discover the very meaning of life, the universe and… well, everything – and no, it’s not 42.

Perfectly Paranormal will be celebrating their release window announcement by attending WASD, hosting a talk at 12PM on Friday 26th of April where they’ll be revealing more about the game, their inspiration and what creating a utopia with swearing angels is really like.

Speaking of angels, players will be taking on the role of Cassiel, an angel with one task: saving Heaven from total annihilation in – checks watch – six hours. Good thing that time doesn’t mean a lot to them. Travel back to save the future, meet winged bird men, solve intricate puzzles and use the power of an ordained stopwatch to replay conversations and use one timeline’s events to influence another.

Are the dogs pettable? Can Heaven be saved? Is skipping dialogue actually a good thing? Head over to Steam to find out and be sure to wishlist this hilarious, time-bending adventure today, tomorrow or yesterday!

DEAD ISLAND 2 SECOND STORY EXPANSION SoLA OUT NOW

And Cue the Music…

Sydney, Australia – 18 APRIL 2024: Dead Island 2’s second expansion story – SoLA – is out now on Xbox, PlayStation and on Epic Game Store and Steam from 23 April 2024.

A fantastic new trailer to accompany the launch can be found below:

Set in the heart of LA, SoLA takes players into the ultimate Californian music festival where a psychedelic beat unleashes chaos, urning the mosh pit into a rotting crater of gore and releasing a malevolent presence to haunt the player.

New DLC Content

New Story. A deadly virus sweeps through The Valley, turning its inhabitants into ravenous zombies as a chthonic rhythm calls from beyond: The Beat of the Autophage. Lured to the festival by an enigmatic warning message, players must explore SoLA’s ruins and put a stop to this otherworldly menace.

New Location. A visceral, gore-drenched music festival in LA echoing to the sound of The Beat which threatens to turn the living into zombies, and with the potential to be heard across the world.

New Enemies. Including the Whipper,  a new apex variant enemy, driven mad with self-loathing by the Autophage. Their compulsion to self-mutilate has turned them into a horrific nightmare of disembowelled intestines, allowing them to lash out at range. And the Clotter, an unsettling apex variant, zombie, that can decompose into a revolting pile of gore, making it immune from damage in that form, and then reform elsewhere to continue the fight. Capable of firing a powerful jet of putrid blood from its heart.

New Legendary Weapons such as the Ripper – a deadly fusion of a baseball bat and circular saw, turning it into a percussive machine of dismemberment- and the Sawblade Launcher, a heavy weapon firing rotary sawblades; the perfect weapon for ranged decapitation and dismemberment.
