LOS ANGELES – March 27, 2024 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality mobile games, has launched the “Flowery Spring” game update for its collectible RPG, Tower of God: New World. Starting today, players can experience new playable teammates, story content, events and more.

Two new teammates are now available as part of this new update. SSR+ [Regular] Ha Yuri (Green Element, Assassin, Scout) depicts her younger self during her first time climbing the Tower. [Regular] Ha Yuri is known for her targeting skill and continuous attack that can instantly deal damage to enemies. SSR [Regular] Lero Ro (Green Element, Support, Light Bearer) is a reliable supporter who increases his allies’ Magic Pierce.

The newly added content Revolution allows players to enhance their teammates by earning additional stats with the Revolution Fragment. This is based on the original webtoon’s concept of Revolution, where teammates are trained in the Rice Cooker to overcome their natural limits. Players can obtain new Ignition Weapons, Abgrund and Idea, from the new Floor of Tests. These weapons can recover their HP when concealed, while increasing Critical DMG and restoring energy as well. Additionally, new preppy-style costumes are now available for Rachel, Quant, Endorsi and Khun.  

Players can participate in several new limited-time events and receive special rewards through April 11, including: 

• Story Event [A Scarf in the Flowery Spring – When You Came to Visit Part 1]: Featuring young versions of Ha Yuri and Lero Ro climbing the Tower, players can experience the original story and Battle stages to earn valuable rewards such as Shining Revolution Fragments and Suspendium.
• [Flowery Spring] Event Exchange Shop: Players who utilized items obtained from the story event can receive SSR [Regular] Lero Ro, Rare Whetstones and more.
• [Flowery Spring] Check-In Event: Check-in the game during the event period and receive multiple rewards including SSR [Regular] Lero Ro Hot Deal Summon Tickets and Suspendium.
• [Flowery Spring] Daily Festival Event: Complete daily missions during the event period to earn various rewards such as Shining Revolution Fragments, Normal Summon Tickets, 3-Day Ad Removal Perk and more.

Players who complete the story event’s missions will receive Normal Summon Tickets and SSR Soulstones among other rewards. In addition, players can challenge the Event Boss Supergiant Worm after clearing the event story mode, where they can achieve the Event Border by reaching certain ranks.

The Untrustworthy Door Event is also available through April 11 to celebrate April Fools’ Day. Players must select the correct door in order to progress to the next challenge. The number of rewards will double when players reach the next round by choosing the right door.

In Tower of God: New World, players can take control of fan-favorite characters to ascend the Tower. Join Twenty-Fifth Bam – and more than 90 characters – as he fights his way through the Tower in gorgeous 3D animation that will make players feel like they have stepped into an anime world. Players will experience fast-paced battle mechanics while utilizing a unique Slot System that powers up a particular “slot” instead of a specific character.

Pre-Orders for Standard and Collector’s Editions Begin 26^th March

26^th March, 2024 – SQUARE ENIX® announced over the weekend that Dawntrail™, the fifth expansion for its critically acclaimed MMO, FINAL FANTASY™ XIV Online, is scheduled to launch on Tuesday, 2^nd July, 2024. The Collector’s Edition was also revealed, with pre-orders for all products starting on Tuesday, 26^th March, 2024.

During the FINAL FANTASY XIV panel at PAX East 2024, Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida looked back at the title’s journey over the past decade and highlighted content set to arrive in the upcoming Dawntrail expansion, which will include a brand-new story; two new playable jobs, pictomancer and viper; a variety of new dungeons and challenging encounters, an increase of the level cap to 100, and more.

Yoshida also revealed the Dawntrail Collector’s Edition, which will be available for pre-order in limited quantities exclusively on the Square Enix Store starting Tuesday, 26^th March, 2024 at 8:00 pm AEDT. The Dawntrail Collector’s Edition is a bundle containing a code for the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Dawntrail Digital Collector’s Edition for Windows® or Mac, and the physical Collector’s Box. PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S and Steam players can order the Collector’s Box as a standalone product and pre-order the Dawntrail Digital Collector’s Edition separately on their respective platforms.

FINAL FANTASY XIV Online is now available for Xbox Series X|S, allowing for more players on the Xbox family of consoles to join the Warriors of Light in Eorzea and beyond! Until April 19, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can claim a Starter Edition via Xbox Game Pass Perks, which includes A Realm Reborn™, Heavensward™, and Stormblood™—the equivalent of three full FINAL FANTASY titles. Players who purchase the Xbox version or receive the Starter Edition through Perks by April 19 will also receive fun and useful in-game items to assist them on their journey, including Menphina’s earring (30% EXP boost up to level 80) and the Palom minion (vanity pet).

PlayStation Australia is pleased to announce the upcoming free playable demo for Stellar Blade, coming Saturday, 30 March to PlayStation 5.

The demo takes place from the very beginning of the game when Eve, a member of the 7th Airborne Squad is sent to Earth on a mission to reclaim the planet from Naytiba, up to the first boss fight. This first stage will include the tutorial phase to help players familiarise themselves with basic combat features as they explore post-war Eidos 7, a human city now infested by the Naytiba giving players an early grasp of gameplay mechanics that will serve them throughout the game’s story.

There is also a little surprise included for players who complete the first stage. From the smooth 60fps combat to the haptics, players will feel through the DualSense wireless controller, there are various charms of the game that players can only confidently appreciate through hands-on experience. 

For those who complete the demo stage, they can carry over their save data when the full game releases on Friday, 26 April, starting from the last checkpoint. Please note the save data must be stored on your PS5 system.

The Stellar Blade demo will be available Saturday, 30 March. 

Alongside the demo, the full game will feature the following language options:
