Loose lips sink spaceships! Strategy goes social in the first 5X game – Explore, Expand, Exploit, Exterminate, EXPRESS!

STOCKHOLM – April 18, 2024 – Paradox Interactive and Whatboy Games have today launched the fast-paced sci-fi strategy game Nexus 5X for PC via Steam. Combining the competitive social strategy of tabletop games with the tactical complexity of the 4X genre, Nexus 5X offers a sci-fi strategy experience that’s playable from start to finish in around 60 minutes, making Nexus 5X the world’s first 5X game: Explore, Exploit, Expand, Exterminate, EXPRESS!

Nexus 5X takes the core pillars of the 4X genre – deep strategy, tense diplomatic drama, and epic military encounters – and distills them into a fast-paced competitive format that is perfect for short-run sessions, allowing groups of up to eight players to complete a full playthrough together in around an hour.

Penarth, Wales, Thursday 18 April – Wales Interactive has released their round-based zombie survival FPS Sker Ritual on PC, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S. Entitled “Record’s Fragment: Yagyu Sword Chronicles”, the new content includes fresh story elements, a mysterious new Rogue servant, and a crime for the ages.

In DLC Vol. 2, a new mystery unfolds in the shadow of the Waxing Moon Ritual when the streets of Edo become the theatre of night killings. At the behest of Sukenoshin, Miyamoto Iori and Saber investigate the murders of helpless citizens, found dead at sunrise, cutdown by a samurai of tremendous skill wielding a new deadly blade. The new, fan-requested feature is aimed at players who want to get completely immersed in the game.

Today, we’re introducing the Nightmare Mode Update for Dying Light 2 Stay Human, which adds the hardest and most immersive difficulty yet and an array of additional elements. The main feature has been widely requested by the community, and it invites the players to rely on tactics and strategic management of resources in order to survive in the post-apocalyptic world.

Launching later this year on Steam Early Access, Lost Castle 2 invites players to become a treasure hunter venturing into a castle corrupted by evil. Battle minions and mighty bosses to discover new equipment, items and treasures to become increasingly powerful on your quest to unveil the castle’s secrets.

Rocky, Mazu, Tiny, Bill and the Guardian Protector himself, Giganto, return for an all-new hilarious adventure set in the colourful land of Cretacia. In Gigantosaurus: Dino Sports, the Giganto Games have begun and players can compete in 8 unique challenges inspired by real-life sports, including Stunt Surf, Dino Fruit Blast and Raptors Triathlon. Play solo, or challenge your family with up to 4-player couch co-op for some enormous fun.
