In Windblown, players will leap with speed through vast, ever-changing islands in the sky as they use a variety of powerful weapons to destroy the Sentinels – deadly minions of the Vortex that threaten their home. Movement is simple yet precise, with dashes launching the player between floating islands and platforms, evading deadly Sentinel assaults and advancing towards the player’s next inevitable encounter. During a run, Windblown players will uncover a diverse arsenal of weaponry they can use to customize their expeditions into the unknown. Defeated Leapers return to their home in the sky to regroup and prepare for their next adventure back into danger for another chance at victory, either solo or online through co-op.

Gifts can also be unlocked which provide beneficial passive bonuses that can further augment your playstyle, like additional arrows fired at your enemy on any of your weapon hits, Double Alterattacks that can allow dexterous players to chain these powerful moves or bonuses that heal you after killing an enemy.
Furthermore, Fish can also be unlocked during your journey which have hugely beneficial abilities that are certain to leave their mark on the Sentinels. For example, the Gobbling Fish might bounce along in a straight line and swallow an enemy in its path, providing a perfect opportunity to leap forward and attack the ensnared foe (which will also have the bonus effect of granting extra rewards upon being hit). Fish have long cooldowns between uses, so their effectiveness comes into a whole new meaning when combined with the power of additional Leapers through online co-operative play where each player can use their own unique Fish ability at the perfect time. This synergy of weapons, powerful attacks and combos, Trinkets, Gifts and Fish can blend together to make each leaper’s playstyle all their own every time they start a run and can be pushed to the maximum when players team up with others to make truly powerful combinations.

Today’s new gameplay trailer focuses on enemies and alliances. In SCUM, threats lurk across every corner of the Island: from puppets who attack on sight, to other players who may choose to become friend or foe. Team up with others to share equipment, items, and weaponry to overcome an even greater threat, or fend for yourself in a hardcore survival experience where nothing is predictable.
Discover unprecedented levels of character customization, control and progression, take advantage of the natural landscape to craft resources, and team up with other players or fight solo in a complex simulation where you’ll need guts, cunning, and skill to survive.

Thursday, 4th April 2024 – Glee-Cheese and Team17 Digital have today launched season three for musical battle royale Headbangers Rhythm Royale on PC, Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows Store. Battle of the Dancers, the new game mode available as part of season three, challenges players to put their best talon forward in a one-on-one rhythm battle and includes a selection of new choreography and tracks. The new mode will test players ability to stay on the beat, utilising various powerups to grant them the edge over their feathered nemesis as songs get progressively more challenging, until finally, one pigeon fails and the survivor reigns victorious. Also available as part of season three for Headbangers Rhythm Royale, the ‘Feeling Peckish’ pack serves up a selection of delicious costumes, garments, taunts, and more for players to customise their pigeon and dazzle the competition.

Headbangers Rhythm Royale invites players to tap, flap, and rap their way to victory in a series of manic musical mini games against up to 29 other player-controlled pigeons, battling their way to become Master Headbanger. Featuring cross-platform multiplayer, no pigeon is too near (or too far) to join in the medley of minigames, with players memory, rhythm, reflexes, reaction time, and (obviously) their ability to rap being put to the test across 24 unique challenges.

Ruffle feathers: Memory, rhythm, reflexes, and reaction times will be put to the test across 24 minigames, each with their own unique musical twist
Preen away: With hundreds of unique items to choose from, including full outfits, hats, glasses, voices, and taunts, players can take the top spot and fluff their feathers with their very own personalised pigeon
Peck and earn breadcrumbs: Challenges and unlockable customisations await in the in-game battle pass, with players able to spend their hard-earned crumbs to help them be the most stylish pigeon in the flock
Cross-flock support: Play with up to 29 other pigeons with cross play enabled, friends and frenemies alike can battle in musical madness regardless their gaming platform of choice
Talon tapping music: With unique scores across each minigame, loading screen, and pigeon accessory menu, the party never stops with the bespoke scores written and created by the Glee-Cheese team.
