As well as the A Twisted Path to Renown Early Access launch version, fans can enhance their experience with the launch of two additional editions alongside the standard launch version. The Founder Edition and Premium Edition both contain the standard launch version of the game as well as additional boost packs, including weapons, ammunition, food and medical supplies, a selection of holsters and accessories, as well as other useful supplies to set you up on your journey. 

The Early Access Steam release of A Twisted Path to Renown will feature thrilling PvEvP extraction-based first-person shooter action in a community-driven MMO environment. Developer, Game Labs, has been working on refining many of the weapons, environments and item physics to fully enhance your game world experience.

Expect to see new craftable lever-action firearms, a wide variety of revolver mechanism pistols and rifles and also single and double barrel shotguns, bolt action rifles as well as Volcanic and Pepperbox pistols with all modifications. Other content includes new military and bandit groups, new medical items, thrilling quests and perks, and numerous quality-of-life enhancements. New bosses have also entered the game world in random locations, so stay vigilant as you never know when you might encounter them.

• Clayton Mercer now offers you 3 new quests. Two of them provide metal plates for crafting high-protection clothing, up to level 10 protection. The last one offers a new unique item necessary for crafting unique clothing.
• With the addition of wildlife, A Twisted Path to Renown offers the freedom to acquire consumables and resources in various ways. However, be alert, as the landscapes hold threats that may endanger the life of any curious hunter.
• Emotes and whistles play an important part in the game as NPCs react to these in the world. You can whistle to catch your enemy’s attention or find the extraction spot where a person should be positioned. 
• Holsters and pockets provide quick access to the most needed small items. If you have holsters for each type of weapon you carry, you can switch between your guns quickly or heal without hiding the gun. 
• In addition to the penetration class for bullets, clothes have their own protection class. Together they generate the damage index that is used each time someone shoots.
• A disguise system works for the main factions in the game when your character is dressed is special faction uniform or clothing providing you with the chance to infiltrate enemy area with less chance of being detected. Beware, get too close or stay too long and they might just realise you are not part of their group and attack!

Octopath Traveler Launches on the PlayStation Store Today

SYDNEY (Jun 6, 2024) – Today, Square Enix® announced that OCTOPATH TRAVELER is now available to purchase for the PlayStation®5 (PS5®) and PlayStation®4 (PS4®) consoles and OCTOPATH TRAVLER II  is now available for the first time on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, meaning that the award-winning RPG series is now available to play across all current console platforms and PC (Windows PC and STEAM®).

The Odyssey range brings a next-level OLED experience and new AI capabilities[2] to the Odyssey OLED G8 – setting a new standard in gaming technology from the Global No.1 OLED Monitor brand[3]. Odyssey OLED Series: Visual Excellence with New Burn-In Prevention Features

The 2024 Odyssey OLED models expand Samsung’s offerings of next-generation OLED performance with the new Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SD model) and Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SD model).

The new Odyssey OLED gaming monitors are the next entry to expand Samsung’s OLED monitor market leadership. The Odyssey range release comes after Samsung achieved the top position in global sales in the OLED monitor market within only one year of launching its first OLED model[5]. This achievement underscores Samsung’s rapid ascent in the competitive landscape of OLED monitors while reinforcing its commitment to diversifying its gaming monitor lineup with models that leverage the company’s proprietary OLED technology.

The Odyssey OLED G8 is the first flat 32” Samsung OLED gaming monitor with 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It has a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms gray-to-gray (GtG) response time for ultra-smooth and responsive gameplay, while also being bolstered with G-Sync to help eliminate tearing and stuttering for smooth, rich visuals.

The new Odyssey OLED G8 is Samsung’s first OLED gaming monitor powered by AI. The NQ8 AI Gen3 processor, which is the same processor Samsung uses in its 2024 8K TV, upscales content to nearly 4K when using Samsung Gaming Hub[6] and the monitor’s native Smart TV apps for higher resolution in gaming and entertainment[7].

The Odyssey OLED G6 is a 27” QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution monitor, supporting a 16:9 aspect ratio. Its 360Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms (GtG) response time make it easy for gamers to keep up with fast-moving gameplay.

Both new OLED models feature Samsung OLED Safeguard+, a new Samsung proprietary burn-in protection technology. This technology is the first in the world to help prevent burn-in by applying a pulsating heat pipe to the monitor. Additionally, the Dynamic Cooling System evaporates and condenses a coolant to diffuse heat four times more than the older graphite sheet method, which helps prevent burn-in by reducing temperature at the core[8]. The monitor can also detect static images like logos and taskbars, automatically reducing their brightness to provide another means of burn-in prevention[9].

The Odyssey OLED G8 and OLED G6 both deliver brilliant OLED picture quality with a brightness of 250 nits (Typ.), while FreeSync Premium Pro keeps the GPU and display panel synced up to minimise choppiness, screen lag and screen tearing.

Samsung’s new OLED Anti-Glare technology[10] also helps preserve colour accuracy and reduces reflections while maintaining image sharpness to ensure an immersive viewing experience, even in daylight. The OLED-optimised, low-reflection coating overcomes the trade-off between gloss and reflection thanks to a new, specialised hard-coating layer and surface coating pattern.

Both monitors feature a super slim metal design that gives them a distinct identity, while Core Lighting+ enhances entertainment and gaming experiences with ambient lighting that synchronises with the screen. The ergonomic stand also makes long sessions comfortable with adjustable height, plus tilt and swivel support.

Smart Monitor M8: AI Processing for Crystal Clear Video and Audio

The updated Smart Monitor lineup brings together a complete multi-device experience into one hub for smarter entertainment and greater productivity. The upgraded 2024 models include the M8 (M80D model), M7 (M70D model), and the M5 (M50D model).

The upgraded 32” 4K UHD Smart Monitor M8 introduces new features powered by AI with the NQM AI processor, taking entertainment experiences to the next level. AI upscaling brings lower resolution content up to nearly 4K[11], and Active Voice Amplifier Pro uses AI to analyse background noise in the user’s environment to optimise dialogue in the user’s content[12]. 360 Audio Mode[13] is available on the M8, which pairs with compatible Galaxy Buds to create an immersive sound environment. The built-in SlimFit Camera also makes it easy to conduct video calls through mobile applications with Samsung Dex[14].

New to the entire line of Smart Monitors is a Workout Tracker,[15] which pairs with a compatible Galaxy Watch to enable real-time health data on the screen, even while streaming content. This makes it easy to track workout goals and can make working out more enjoyable.

These new features enhance the already impressive Smart Monitor functionality. Smart TV apps and Samsung TV Plus[16] provide instant access to a wide range of streaming services and live content, without needing to boot up a PC or connect to other devices[17].

The M7 is available in 32” and 43”[18] with 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution, a brightness of 300 nits (Typ.) and a gray to gray (GtG) response time of 4ms. The M5 is available in 27” and 32”, with FHD resolution (1920 x 1080), a brightness of 250 nits (Typ.) and a response time of 4ms (GtG).

ViewFinity Series: Maximising Creativity and Ease of Use

Optimised for creatives and professionals, the latest ViewFinity lineup includes the ViewFinity S8 (S80UD), ViewFinity S7 (S70D model) and the ViewFinity S6 (S60UDIn 2024, the S60UD comes ready with a Daisy Chaining feature, enabling multiple monitors to be connected with a single connection – with as many as four screens at a single workstation, allowing for users to duplicate or extend content with ease.

The Easy Setup Stand is put together with one quick click, requiring no tools or screws, making it fast and easy to set up and enjoy the ViewFinity’s vibrant display. June 5th 2024 – Leading video game publisher 505 Games, and developer INGAME STUDIOS celebrate the forthcoming Crime Boss: Rockay City Steam release with a criminally cheap launch price of £15.99. What a steal!

The Steam version launches globally on June 18th, and will feature all previous DLC (Cagnali’s Order, Dragon’s Gold Cup, the Tactical Weapon Pack, and the Heavy Hitters Pack) free for a limited period of time, plus, of course, every improvement and update over the past year.

From Majestic Predator to Loyal Shoulder-Mount This Dynamic Feline Is a Scorching Addition to Any ARK Army!

SEATTLE, WA – June 5, 2024 – Today, Studio Wildcard revealed the ARK Fantastic Tames – Pyromane, the first of a new DLC series of fantasy creatures for ARK: Survival Ascended. The Pyromane gives owners access to many unique abilities as this feline can quickly transform from a shoulder-mounted flame-throwing kitten, into a full-sized rideable lion that sets enemies ablaze! Each Fantastic Tame creature class boasts unique abilities, as a kitten, Pyromane serves as a flamethrower; throw it, and it becomes a full-sized lion. Ride it through lava fields, ignite enemies at will, and dash explosively through targets, leaving fiery trails. It can even cook raw meat and fuel forges. Additional Fantastic Tames are planned to be introduced later this year.

Additionally, The Center expansion map has been released for cross-platform play on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Steam. This free update features a sprawling new map, double the size of the standard ARK Island, featuring tons of uncharted territories and surprises to discover. The never-before-seen Shastasaurus, found roaming The Center,  is a massive but friendly underwater beast which comes with a special saddle equipped with a submarine pouch!

The Center was the first ever community modded map when it arrived on ARK: Survival Evolved. With its upgrade to Unreal Engine 5 in ASA it also introduces a brand-new dinosaur, the Shastasaurus. Chosen by community vote, the Shasta is a huge underwater beast that looks scarier than it truly is, curiously swimming up to humans without attacking! This beast of burden can carry an insane amount of weight, even featuring a special ‘submarine’ saddle allowing riders to breathe and survive the intense deep ocean pressure. Fully equipped with a submarine scope for players to see enemies above the water, the scope is also essential to see oncoming underwater combat torpedoes that deliver heavy explosive damage.

Premium Mods are now available for PlayStation 5 players, joining the already available ones on Xbox Series X|S and PC, marking a groundbreaking milestone as ASA becomes the first game to enable professionally created Premium Mods to be sold to console players. This now enables creators and game studios to deploy, sell, and update their content directly to consoles dynamically. Premium Mods have price points ranging from $2 to $10, with 50% of all revenue going to the creators. Over 1,500 mods are now available for cross-platform play.

Supermoves throws players into a heart-stopping world of parkour competition.
