Today, Minecraft released its latest update, Tricky Trials, on all platforms. Players can experience surprising new challenges with the replayable trial chambers, perfect for multiplayer and solo adventures and ripe with valuable loot.

However, the trial chambers aren’t the only new features added in Tricky Trials. Here’s a full look at the new additions in Tricky Trials:

• Redstone-enabled auto-crafting with the crafter
• Two new mobs: the bogged, a new skeleton variant that shoots poison arrows, and the breeze, a nimble and mischievous foe that drops the wind charge and breeze rod when defeated
• A new weapon: the mace, which has three new unique enchantments in breach, density and wind burst, and a special smash attack that knocks back enemies
• Five new decorative copper blocks: chiseled copper, copper grate, copper door, copper trapdoor and copper bulb

Additionally, Mojang has begun testing Minecraft on PlayStation 5, paving the way for a native PS5 version to be released later this year. This PS5 version of the game is currently in experimental mode so the team can continue to make improvements and listen to community feedback over the next few months. Minecraft is also optimized for Xbox Series X|S consoles, where the game runs at up to 4K and 60FPS as of last December. These updates to optimization are a continuation of Minecraft’s efforts to ensure a great experience on consoles while paving the way for future game enhancements.

As DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO gets ready for its launch on 11^th October 2024, players can now get more information about some of the modes and features they will be able to experience in-game.

The first feature explained by Jun Furutani, DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO’s producer, is the Episode Battle. In this single player mode, players can choose between 8 characters, like Goku or Vegeta, and live or relive some of the key battles starting from DRAGON BALL Z, up until DRAGON BALL SUPER’s Tournament of Power. But battles are just a part of the fun, as players can experience some of the cutscenes from a first-person point of view, deepening their immersion, and make some decisions that will have them play alternative scenarios from the franchise they know and love on certain stages.

The second feature, Custom Battle, lets players have fun with possibilities to create scenarios involving their favourite characters from the franchise. The Bonus Battles are scenarios that have been made by the developers with different victory conditions and unique cutscenes. But that’s not it, as characters, conditions, cutscenes battles can be made either from the ground-up or from existing Bonus Battles, as players create their dream showdown and can then share it with the world.

DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO will also include an offline Multiplayer. While the game has been designed with Online Multiplayer and Single Player in mind, to make the most out of the latest generation of consoles, the development team wanted to ensure that the game would be the ultimate DRAGON BALL experience, letting veterans and newcomers face each other in the comfort of their homes, reliving their childhood memories or honing their skills in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

Life is Strange: Double Exposure Reveal Livestream unveils new details about the latest supernatural murder mystery in the critically acclaimed franchise.

SYDNEY (June 14, 2024) – Today,Square Enix® aired the Life is Strange: Double Exposure Reveal Livestream, detailing everything players need to know about the next entry in the award-winning narrative adventure series.

Deck Nine developers Jonathan Stauder (Game Director) and Felice Kuan (Narrative Director) were joined by host Elyse Willems (Funhaus, 30 Morbid Minutes), who interviewed them about this thrilling new adventure, including how the game is designed to appeal to both long-term fans and brand-new players. Though the reverberations of Max’s past are felt throughout this story, no previous Life is Strange save file is needed to dive in.

Felice Kuan, Narrative Director, detailed further:

“We knew that this had to be something special. We also knew we had to respect the two unforgettable endings to the first chapter of Max’s story, while also crafting something new.   Something fresh, that echoed and acknowledged Max’s past challenges, even as it moved her personal story forward. Welcoming in new players from the very beginning, while giving fans the story they didn’t know they wanted.”

Later in the show, Hannah Telle (Max Caulfield) sat down for a one-on-one chat with Elyse, detailing her emotional journey from the Max of the past to the Max of the present day:

“As Max has evolved, her powers have evolved too. She didn’t use that power for a really long time, because it creates so much devastation. So it adapted into something different. She now has this supernatural ability to move between two timelines, giving her a unique position to figure out what’s really going on with Safi’s murder.”

We also got a further look at Max’s new ability to ‘Shift’ between two parallel timelines. Game Director, Jonathan Stauder explained:

“Max’s ability to Shift between the two timelines opens up a whole slew of gameplay possibilities. Max will navigate between different two versions of the same space, and she’ll be able to use these powers to circumnavigate puzzles and discover clues about suspects she might not otherwise have access to.”

Featuring never-before-seen in-game footage and stories from behind the scenes, the stream culminated in an extended gameplay showcase from Chapter 1, seeing protagonist Max and her friends Safi and Moses watching a meteor shower together from the roof of the Caledon Observatory. However, things soon took a strange and deadly turn…

LIFE IS STRANGE: DOUBLE EXPOSURE will be available in three editions; Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate.

Players can pre-order the Ultimate Edition now to gain Advanced Access to Chapters 1 and 2, two weeks ahead of the release of the full game.
