Fresh off the heels of participation in this year’s Guerilla Collective showcase and a highly successful June NextFest, colorful JRPG Ova Magica launches into Early Access on Steam today, July 23rd, at 10am EST / 3pm BST.  

Billing itself as “Pokemon-meets-Harvest Moon”, the game has had a long history of development originating as far back as 2019. Developed by a primarily woman-led team, the game has received extensive hype online, and became the #6 most funded game campaign of 2021 on Kickstarter (as well as received the “Big K” community award from the site). The game has had significant attention directed toward it since then from multiple locations, including being spotlighted in an edition of the 2022 PC Gaming Show thanks to its publisher, Top Hat Studios, Inc. The game received significant attention in recent months thanks to its participation in the Steam Cozy Celebration, Guerilla Collective, Woman-led Games Showcase, Games Baked In Germany, and the most recent Steam NextFest. Players have given extremely positive feedback on the prior-available extensive demo, which showcased 4-5+ hours of content.

After much hard work and years of effort, the team is extremely proud to be able to present its initial early access. The early access version of the game is feature complete and features an estimated 20-30+ hours of gameplay,  if not more. The game features an extensive, highly interwoven mixture of Creature Collector, JRPG, and Simulation elements. You’re the new resident of Clover Town, and your new life awaits you! The shift duration, or total playtime, is about 2-3 hours, meaning you’ll have plenty of free time after your shift! However, there is one caveat: 50% of the anomalies may be creepy but easy to spot, while the other 50% are more subtle and easy to miss. Sounds doable? Great! Good luck with not getting paranoid!

CONSCRIPT takes players deep into the trenches of World War 1, offering a survival-horror experience inspired by the classics of the genre. TEKKEN WORLD TOUR 2024 FINALS LOCATION ALSO REVEALED AT EVO 2024

Bandai Namco Europe S.A.S. revives Heihachi Mishima, the King of Iron Fist, in a new character reveal trailer debuted at EVO 2024. Revealed as the next DLC character, Heihachi will return to the TEKKEN roster in Fall 2024. The DLC is the third since the launch of the game, bringing back fan-favorite characters including Eddy Gordo and Lidia Sobieska. Developed by Bandai Namco Studios Inc., TEKKEN™ 8 harnesses Unreal® Engine 5 to bring new weight and atmosphere to the game’s battles, with every character remodelled in stunning detail and new dynamic and destructible environments added to the game. For the first time ever in TEKKEN history, TEKKEN 8 adds an entirely new chapter to its story mode, expanding on “The Dark Awakens” storyline, which continues the clash between the Kazama and Mishima families. “The Dark Awakens” story mode expansion will be available as a free update for all TEKKEN 8 players.

Following an epic conclusion to the EVO 2024 finals resulting in a newly crowned champion, Arslan Ash, the company also announced the location of the 2024 Tekken World Tour Finals. The finals will be held in Tokyo, Japan on December 8, 2024, with group stages for Global and Regional Leaderboards beginning December 5.
