View the Latest “Titan Talk” Video Here

Kabam is bringing a caravan of new content to Shop Titans, the fantasy crafting and shopkeeper role-playing game, with the release of its October update and debut of “Pharoway Caravan,” a brand-new event built around inventory management, an entirely new type of gameplay for Shop Titans!

Stahl the Centaur has made his way to Reinhold Kingdom for the first time in a long time. This travelling merchant moves across the world, peddling wares from Canaya to the Deepwoods, a golden opportunity for every shopkeeper!

View the new “Titan Talk” video here.

Throughout the “Pharoway Caravan” event, players will welcome a rotating cast of caravans to their shop, each hailing from a different corner of the Shop Titans world and each with its own trading preferences. Shopkeepers will place, rotate, and stack items to make the most of the caravan’s limited space, earning both Gold and Vouchers for every item sold. Keep an eye on Stahl’s wanted items too, since matching them earns bonus Gold and Vouchers!

See below and here for more details on the “Pharoway Caravan” event and additional October update content…

  • Pharoway Caravan – New Event
    • The event opens up at level 20, the same threshold as Dragon Invasion, so most active players can jump in right away.
    • Each visit unfolds in a few distinct beats. Get advance notice of which caravan is coming and what it’s after, then watch it roll into town as Stahl, its ever-present driver, steps out to make introductions. From there, it’s up to the Shopkeeper to fill the caravan’s order before it moves on.
    • Each run of the event lasts five days, with a new caravan pulling in daily with its own list of wanted goods. Expect Pharoway Caravan to make regular return visits on a similar cadence after its October debut.
  • Inventory Puzzles
    • Fit weapons and armor from your inventory into each caravan’s grid, rotating and stacking items to make the most of the space available. Placement updates in real time, with clear visual feedback showing where an item fits and where it doesn’t.
    • Matching what a caravan is looking for earns bonus Gold and Vouchers, and lining up two or three of its wanted types at once multiplies the reward even further, rewarding Shopkeepers who plan their crafting around what’s coming next.

❖  The Caravan Store

  • Every item sold to a caravan rewards both Gold and Vouchers. Vouchers are spendable only at the Caravan Store and don’t carry over between events, so it pays to spend them before time runs out.
  • The Caravan Store rotates a handful of featured offers, including consumables, blueprints, decorations, and Silver Emblems, refreshing its selection regularly so there’s always something new to save up for.

❖  Silver Emblems & The Shop Banner

  • Silver Emblems, purchased with Vouchers through the Caravan Store, unlock the Shop Banner: a new piece of exterior decor that boosts whichever blueprint line a Shopkeeper assigns to it.
  • The Banner can be upgraded over time and swapped to a different blueprint line whenever priorities change.
  • Shopkeepers can also collect Path customizations, cosmetic skins for the road leading up to their shop, with five available at launch and more planned down the line.

❖  Leaderboards

  • Guild and worldwide leaderboards track total vouchers earned during the event, giving competitive Shopkeepers and guilds another reason to make the most of every trade.

❖  Additional Halloween-Themed Content & More

  • Community Event: Haunted Item – A Halloween-flavored community goal event running ahead of the caravan’s debut.
  • Halloween Content Pass & Login Calendar – Bringing seasonal content through early October.
  • Lost City of Gold – Returning with a new capstone Robe blueprint as its top reward.
  • Dragon Invasion & King’s Caprice – Continuing their usual recurring schedule

Despicably Detailed Shooting Simulator Ballistic.exe Launches First-Ever PC Demo

Leamington Spa, UK – October 8, 2026: UK publisher Kwalee and independent developer Tic Tac Toe Digital are pleased to announce the first-ever demo for upcoming shooting simulator Ballistic.exe, available to download now on Steam.

The demo features three firearms, 80+ cartridges and attachments, and access to early portions of the first firing range.

Ballistic.exe is a despicably detailed shooting simulator wrapped in a declassified computer program. The full game will feature dozens of weapons, 200+ cartridges, 1,000+ attachments, and absolutely nothing supernatural.

About the game

A declassified program falls into your hands. The depth of its simulation is impressive, but there is still much to be uncovered. Master a true-to-life aiming and weapon manipulation system as you complete tests for the program and its inhabitants. Marshal over 1,200 attachments and cartridge types to hit impossible targets. Try not to think too hard about what this all might be for.

Despicably Detailed Simulation

The finest minds of MK Lab VI produced a ballistics simulation of unparalleled depth and complexity. Charge mass, bullet profile, and barrel length combine to produce velocity. Gravity, wind, Coriolis and Magnus effects, temperature and air humidity work their influence on trajectory. Bullets tumble through the air as they dip below the sound barrier and shatter upon impact into simulated shards. Recoil spreads from receiver to stock to grip and into the hands depending on their position. Sublime mathematics climax in a simulated streak of lead.

1,200+ Parts and Projectiles

To over a dozen base firearms can be attached stocks, triggers, grips, sights, scopes, handles, bolts, barrels, hammers, cylinders, red dots, lasers, silencers, and more. Over 1000 parts at your disposal, and each affects weapon balance, ergonomics, and handling. True connoisseurs may select a canteen stock as a front sight, six stacked laser pointers, and other more idiosyncratic customisations.

In the range, choose from over 200 cartridge types from homemade buckshot to state-of-the-art experimental munitions. Prepare each magazine and loadout round-by-round for the perfect mix.

True-to-Life Aiming and Manipulation

The glow of the screen is no barrier to weapon handling. Master an innovative WASD + mouse control system to feel weight, ergonomics, breath and stance directly. Manually load rounds, operate safeties, switches and slides as you master a growing arsenal of firearms.

Ridiculous and Unsettling Challenges

Proceed with the tests. Who knows why the work must be done? You know only that you must do it. Assess weapons, attachments, rounds and ranges. Hit the targets, whatever the targets are. The inhabitants of the program have requests for you too, and these are more esoteric.

Cozy Horror Hit ‘The Road of Dust and Sorrow’ Launches 3 December 2026

Macclesfield, UK – 8 October 2026

After the world ends, love is all that remains to keep the dark away.  Painted Black Games and Silver Lining Interactive are thrilled to announce that their highly anticipated pixel-art indie hit, The Road Of Dust And Sorrow, will officially launch 3 December 2026 on Steam, PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X/S, Nintendo Switch & Nintendo Switch 2.

Following a massive surge of community support, the title has officially crossed the major milestone of 150,000 Steam wishlists, cementing its position as a defining title for the emerging “cozy horror” subgenre. To celebrate the launch date reveal and milestone, a brand-new story trailer has been unveiled today during the Convergence Showcase, giving players a glimpse into the dynamic between the game’s main characters – Katherine and Ava.

Heartbreak, Hope, and the Bonds That Endure

Focusing on the soulful bond between a parent and child, players navigate a ruined world as Katherine, guiding and protecting her daughter, Ava, from monsters driven by a primal hunger. By trading mindless carnage for story-driven survival, The Road Of Dust And Sorrow blurs the line between necessity and cruelty, forcing players to ask how far they will go to protect the only light left in the dark.

“Crossing 150,000 wishlists is completely overwhelming,” says Roman, Developer at Painted Black Games. “We set out to build a game that felt close to our hearts. Seeing so many players connect with Katherine and Ava’s journey shows us that there’s a real hunger for stories that represent deeply human experiences.”

###

About The Road of Dust and Sorrow

The Road of Dust and Sorrow is a tense, story-driven pixel art horror inspired by ’90s classics. Survive a world gone wrong and protect what matters most: your daughter.

Dive into a story-driven cozy horror adventure inspired by classics like Resident Evil and Silent Hill. A miracle crop designed to end famine became humanity’s ruin. It twisted people into feral creatures called Dusters, hollowed out by a chemical addiction and driven by primal hunger. Katherine and her daughter Ava roam the remnants of civilization, searching for a safe haven. But their journey draws the attention of the Pastor and his mysterious following. He sees remaining humans not as people, but as fertile soil for his plans.

A FALLEN WORLD

Streets lie abandoned, buildings rot from the inside out, and strange vegetation reclaims the earth at an accelerated rate. Traces of the past linger in barricaded homes, ransacked offices with scattered supplies, and stores picked clean of basic goods. In a world shaped by desperation, how far will you go to survive?

FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE

Claw your way through decaying streets, bloodthirsty monsters, locked rooms, and forgotten corridors. Solve environmental puzzles, uncover hidden paths, and survive encounters with feral Dusters for a chance to reach safety. Proceed with caution: every door can lead to salvation… or devastation.

PROTECT WHAT MATTERS MOST

Protect Ava at all costs. The world can die, but she must live. Every step draws you deeper into a hostile wilderness that wants you gone. No one is coming to save you, but you can fight. You can run. You can try to get her to safety.

COZY HORROR AT HEART

Experience a new unique blend of tension and comfort. The Road of Dust and Sorrow establishes a new cozy horror genre: focusing on cozy, atmospheric pixel art, rich narrative and subtle dread. It offers a haunting, dystopian world built for both horror veterans and casual players.

KEY FEATURES

  • Story-Driven Linear Experience
  • Cozy Horror Gameplay
  • Exploration and Puzzles
  • Beautiful Pixel Art
