Los Angeles, California — October 28, 2026 | Publisher Kakao Games and developer Ocean Drive Studio are excited to announce Beta 2, the next public playtest for upcoming physics-driven zombie survival simulator God Save Birmingham, will begin on 2 November and run until 9 November.

Watch God Save Birmingham – Beta 2 Announcement below:

Following months of closed playtests, Beta 2 is the second chance for most players to try God Save Birmingham since the beta test that took place this past June. Cryptid-collecting deck-building auto battler Portentum out now on Early Access – for free!

Adds Tournament Mode, Arena Mode, battle passes and more

Salt Lake City, USA, October 28th, 2026 – Snowfall Games is proud to announce that its cryptid deck-building auto-battler Portentum is available now, for free, on Steam Early Access. Portentum combines original hand-drawn cryptid artwork with deep deck-building strategy, letting you hunt for broken combos using legendary creatures from around the world, like Bigfoot, the Jersey Devil, Mothman, the Chupacabra, and of course, Jimothy. If somebody’s uncle saw it in the woods in 1973, there’s a good chance it’s a card in Portentum!

This Early Access launch adds the much anticipated Tournament Mode, where you can play against your friends in real-time, along with Arena Mode, where you draft your own deck. Achievements, the in-game store, and journals (battle passes) have also made their debut.

“Ever since we showed off Portentum at PAX West we’ve seen that people really gel with its core gameplay and hand-crafted cryptids, so we’re thrilled that people can finally create their own decks and play with their friends – the way Portentum was envisioned all along,” said Jaden Holladay, Co-Founder at Snowfall Games. “We’re so excited to see how the meta evolves with a full audience creating their own customized combos of cryptid warbands. We want Portentum to be something people can play for a long time, so we’ll regularly be adding new content and listening to player feedback as we grow the game into its 1.0 release.”

More about Portentum:
The rules of Portentum are simple: assemble a warband and win 10 rounds of battle. Build your deck of 30 cards, each containing a cryptid or mushrooms, then make strategic decisions with each hand you’re dealt, as you compete against another player’s warband.

Once you’ve assembled your deck, head to the shop to deal a hand from your selected deck for that run. Spend gold to play cards from your hand, mobilize a five-slot warband, and then send your squad of monsters out to fight! Win ten rounds to achieve victory. Lose five, and you’re out.

Portentum’s meta is ever-evolving, as every warband you create joins the pool that other players face. As you keep playing and opening card packs, entirely new deck-building possibilities and obscenely killer combos will enter the fray, providing an endless array of strategic possibilities and challenges!

Connect to the Future—The Battle Begins Now! Crystal of Atlan x Ghost in the Shell: STAND ALONE COMPLEX collaboration launches October 28 along with new level

The Lv.80 Adventure Chapter [Hymn of Redemption] and brand-new gear are now available! [Doradoween] Halloween event launching on October 28!

Oct. 28, 2026 – Crystal of Atlan, the cross-platform magicpunk MMO Action RPG, will officially launch its collaboration with the TV anime Ghost in the Shell: STAND ALONE COMPLEX on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, alongside the simultaneous release of the new Lv.80 level cap, the Adventure Chapter [Hymn of Redemption], and new gear. In celebration of the Halloween season, the festive event [Doradoween] will also make its return. Players can download Crystal of Atlan for free on mobile, PC, and PlayStation via here and on Steam.

The Crystal of Atlan x Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. collaboration is here!

Ghost in the Shell originated from the manga THE GHOST IN THE SHELL, first published in 1989 by Japanese manga artist Masamune Shirow. Through its exploration of cybernetics, prosthetic technology, and the question of what it means to be human, it built an iconic near-future sci-fi world. This collaboration with Crystal of Atlan centers on the 2002 TV anime Ghost in the Shell: STAND ALONE COMPLEX. Set in the year 2030, as the information network expands and societal crimes grow increasingly complex, Public Security Section 9—an independent unit under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, commonly known as “Ghost in the Shell”—conducts investigation operations that reveal both the light and dark sides of networked society, as well as the blurred boundary between humans and machines.

In this collaboration, Section 9 has detected an unidentified anomalous signal within Atlan. At the source of the signal, a special warzone resembling Section 9’s tactical style has emerged. The world of advanced cybernetics and prosthetic technology converges here with Atlan, where magic and technology intertwine. Section 9’s tactical philosophy is projected into the collaboration dungeon, [Simulated Warzone].

During the collaboration, adventurers can participate in the collaboration dungeon [Simulated Warzone], the collection event [Memory Dive] based around gathering intel and clues, and the [Tactical Protocol] progression system. Participate to earn items like [Neurochips] to unlock collaboration rewards over time.

Pilot the Tachikoma and take on the Simulated Warzone

[Simulated Warzone] is a 4-player minigame where each adventurer pilots their own Tachikoma. Adventurers can shoot other adventurers or enemies on the field to collect [Ultra Cogs] and upgrade their Tachikoma. If you’re defeated by another adventurer, you will drop a portion of your held [Ultra Cogs]. Earn [Prime Prosthetics] and [Neurochips] and unlock the corresponding rewards based on your final ranking!

Unlock intel and light up your Memory Dive

During the event, adventurers can spend SP to obtain [Cyber Cores], which are used to advance clue unlock progress. As clues are gradually unlocked, adventurers can claim rewards for each corresponding stage. Through battle and collection, adventurers will gradually uncover the memories hidden behind the clues.

Limited-time collaboration pets and mounts!

During the collaboration, Motoko Kusanagi will appear in pet form. The Think Tank Tachikoma will join the game as a collaboration mount, offering 5 different paint options for adventurers to customize its appearance.

Additionally, adventurers can use [Neurochips] to increase their [Tactical Protocol] level and earn generous collaboration rewards.

Bladework Games Breaks Down What Marked For Mayhem is All About in First Dev Vlog

A closer look at the competitive chaos that turns allies into rivals and every mission into a race for glory.

[October 28, 2026] – Marked For Mayhem is an upcoming competitive 4-player action dungeon runner where shared missions doesn’t mean shared glory when all is said and done. Bladework Games pulls back the curtain on what makes Marked For Mayhem tick. From how the game has evolved throughout development to the player experience the team hopes to deliver, the developers share their perspectives on what makes the game unique and how it brings the “good kind” of chaos to every run.

The team also tackles some common misconceptions following the game’s announcement, including the idea that Marked For Mayhem is just a co-op game. While players will need to work together, there’s plenty of PvP and competition too. You’ll need to watch your back, as rivals can use Disruptors to steal your hard-earned points. Of course, there’s more than one way to win, and PvP is only part of the competition. From traversal challenges to minigames, there are plenty of ways to show off your skills and come out on top.

Key Features of Marked For Mayhem:

  • Let the Chaos Commence: Enter the ultimate interdimensional combat tournament, where every combat round and chaotic challenge  is another chance to earn medals and climb the leaderboard.
  • Build for Mayhem: Master an array of unique and iconic weaponry, then shape your build on the fly with abilities and modifiers. Adapt to what you find, experiment with new combinations, and make every run your own.
  • Friends, Foes, First Place: Jump into the competition and find out which of your friends has what it takes to finish at the top. Or jump into matchmaking and take on the world.
  • Steal the Spotlight: Turn a rival’s lead into your opportunity with Disruptors. Unleash them on enemies or aim them at other Operators to steal points and send the leaderboard into chaos.
  • The Show Goes On: Launch is just the beginning. Bladework Games will continue building and expanding Marked for Mayhem’s online multiplayer experience alongside the community, with new enemies to fight, biomes to explore, weapons to master, Disruptors to unleash, and plenty more still to come.

Check out the full devlog, wishlist Marked for Mayhem on Steam and Epic Games Store, and join the official Discord for a chance to participate in the game’s first public playtest, running November 6–8! Follow social channels to stay up to date on any future playtests and the latest Marked For Mayhem news.

About Bladework Games

Bladework Games is an independent game studio striving to create a game that doesn’t just stand out, but defines its own genre. We can’t help it, we want it all: something new, something fun, something that stands out in a sea of same. We know we’re not the only ones searching for something fresh, something worth getting lost in.

Every game we make will be a gamble, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. If you’re looking for the familiar, you’ll find plenty of that elsewhere. But if you’re looking for something bold, something different, something that risks it for the biscuit, you’re in the right place.

To us, games should surprise, challenge, and delight…like stumbling upon a song you never saw coming but can’t stop playing. Our goal is simple: deliver unique, replayable, and approachable multiplayer experiences that leave a lasting mark until we become the very villain we once set out to defeat. Easy, see you at the finish line… or somewhere in the wreckage.

TINYBUILD SMUGGLES PROBABLY STOLEN, THE GRITTY PIXEL-ART CYBERPUNK SHOP SIMULATOR, ONTO STEAM TODAY

Steam Next Fest’s biggest demo is now available to play in full! Trade illicit goods, haggle for the best deals, and navigate corrupt factions to keep your shop afloat amidst constantly rising rents from your money-hungry landlord

SEATTLE – Oct. 28, 2026 – tinyBuild (Graveyard Keeper, Potion Craft, Kingmakers) and developer Questing Goose Studio are excited to announce that Probably Stolen, the dystopian roguelike cyberpunk shopkeeping simulator, is now available on Steam for $19.99 / EUR 19.99 / GBP 16.99, with a 10% launch discount available for two weeks. Manage your shop on a gritty space station while keeping your eyes peeled for potential threats; whether it’s security personnel, wanted criminals, or sentient AI Augs that mimic customers, there’s always someone (or something) out for your profits in this cutthroat underworld!

Probably Stolen officially debuts today after topping the charts as one of Steam Next Fest’s most-played titles. The game has generated over 500,000 wishlists and had the highest peak concurrent player count (nearly 40,000 concurrent players) during Steam Next Fest. Over 660,000 unique players tried out the game’s demo, which has Overwhelmingly Positive (98%) user reviews on Steam.

Life on the lower levels can be tough. As the shopkeeper, you must manage, sell, and smuggle (potentially illegal) goods of all kinds to keep your business afloat. Sometimes that means working under the table, making risky choices to combat the rising cost of rent. You’ll need to navigate cutthroat politics and build connections with the right factions to get the best exclusive deals.

To earn extra credits and favors, work with security personnel and report the criminals that visit your store counter… or choose to look the other way. Each product that’s added to your inventory attracts different buyers, bringing their own potential risks to your storefront. Be sure to thoroughly inspect the items you’ve acquired from patrons; you’re liable for selling contaminated goods. Hurting your reputation means fewer paying customers, and that means less money for rent!

Key Features

  • PROFIT COMES FIRST: Choose to start as a gunsmith, chemist, water merchant, fence, farmer…or from pure rock bottom! Every product has its own profit curve and way of ruining you – weapons face inspections, contraband brings raids. Some trades need heavy machinery and permits, others just a good hiding spot. You’re not just choosing a theme for your shop; you’re choosing what kind of trouble you’re willing to monetize.
  • KNOW YOUR CUSTOMERS: You never know who’s on the other side of the counter. Today’s shoppers could be Security fishing for evidence, a revolutionary looking for leverage, or someone shady testing your usefulness. Every sale is a gamble. Approve, refuse, report or look away – someone is always taking notes.
  • RISK & REWARD: Each item has its own risks and rewards. Your margins depend on how well you can assess what’s in front of you. Misjudge the item or the person selling it, and you absorb the cost. You can always cut the product’s quality to earn a little extra dough – but be careful not to incur the wrath of Security or mob justice.
  • BEWARE THE LANDLORD: Rent increases over time, regardless of how well your week went. If you fall behind, your shop will suffer the consequences, forcing you to choose between playing it safe or taking a big bet to get back in the black. But one bad purchase or illegal bust could be all it takes to lose your business forever.
  • SHOOT ON SIGHT: Rogue AI-augmented individuals live among us, secretly kidnapping people for nefarious objectives. All factions on the station agree – shoot on sight! Keep an eye out for suspicious shoppers and pull the trigger when necessary.

And more to come! The Probably Stolen team plans to add even more content to the game in future updates, including new starting scenarios and an extension of the main story.

Pick up Probably Stolen today on Steam!
