House of Golf 2 is collaborating with Razer which will see several areas of integration for the upcoming fun filled mini-golf game at launch consisting of: 

  • Razer Chroma – Razer Chroma RGB is a visualisation effect and brings a variety of colour from House of Golf 2’s environments to gamers’ own home and device setup with synchronisation in the world’s largest lighting ecosystem for gaming devices.
  • Razer Axon – Razer Axon brings together various dynamic wallpapers to gamers, allowing users to sync their Razer Chroma enabled devices. Users can receive new dynamic and static wallpapers, which would synchronise with the game to turn your device and gaming environment into a “house of golf”.
  • Razer Cortex – Razer Cortex is the brand’s game booster, which automatically streamlines the PC’s performance. Paid to Play users of Cortex will be able to play House of Golf 2 with Razer Silver reward currency.
  • Razer Golf Balls – Razer-themed golf balls can be played on all courses in House of Golf 2.

House of Golf 2, the sequel to the successful House of Golf released on the Nintendo Switch in 2019, is created by fans of mini-golf and crazy golf, and inspired by games such as Micro Machines. Players will navigate around over 100 incredible courses in visually stunning house environments with fun obstacles, traps, and hazards. With many crazy ways to play, face courses in single player or take on family and friends with up to 4-player multiplayer, whether at a party or playing competitively with regular tournaments such as the season opener championship, and leaderboard features.

Developed with Unreal 5, House of Golf 2 takes the fun approach of mini-golf and brings it into the home with many of its unique and tricky challenges. Given the challenges, a free cam feature allows players to navigate the route around courses and help determine a strategy.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess features a ton of new and fresh gameplay elements, including:

  • A Unique Day/Night Cycle: During the day, players explore the village, purify the “defiled” villagers, assign those villagers various roles, and choose where to place them in order to best protect the Maiden Yoshiro and prepare for sundown. When night falls, Soh and the villagers must work together to protect Yoshiro against the hordes of emergent Seethe as they spill out of the Torii gates that are spread throughout the mountain.
  • Encountering Diverse Villagers: As residents of Mt. Kafuku, the villagers need to be saved from the defilement and assigned various roles so they can aid in the battle against the Seethe. Learn the different characteristics of each villager role, including Woodcutters, Ascetics, Archers and more to prepare the villagers for a fierce fight. Players can also upgrade villager roles to get more support and issue commands to the villagers while fighting alongside them to defeat the Seethe and purify each village.
  • Taking on the Sinister Seethe: When night falls, the Seethe will emerge from the other world. As they target the Maiden with a variety of terrifying attacks, it is up to the protagonist Soh to use dance-like sword techniques and command the villagers. Decide whether you should focus on close-quarters melee attacks yourself or support tactics. Test your strategic abilities with the constantly changing battlegrounds and different Seethe variants.

With the game now available, Capcom has released additional content so players can delve deeper into the mysterious world of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess.

  • Okami™ Collaboration ContentFollowing the demo release, players took part in a special challenge as a part of the Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess and Okami collaboration. Together, players impressively obtained 1 billion crystals and found 15 hidden Lucky Mallets, unlocking exclusive Okami content including the Amaterasu costume and weapon for Soh, the Waka costume for Yoshiro, and a special Okami collab soundtrack. Bunraku is a collaborative art that blends together narrative recitation, music, and puppetry in performance. Master Puppeteer and Japan’s National Treasure KIRITAKE Kanjuro performed a brand-new play called, “Ceremony of the Deity: The Maiden’s Destiny,” which is a prequel to the brand-new IP. Special puppets were created to represent Soh and the Maiden using traditional techniques from the Bunraku artists. Devolver Reveals Tactical Kung-Fu Fighter Forestrike From Team Behind Olija

Japan-based master developers Skeleton Crew and their apprentices Devolver Digital have revealed Forestrike, a tactical kung fu game where repetition is the key to success. The game is set to launch in 2025, but lucky BitSummit attendees will have the chance to sample an early demo of the game this weekend.  

As a martial artist, named Yu, you embark on a journey across the country to free the Emperor from an evil Admiral’s influence. Adopting techniques from one of five unique Masters, each battle presents a puzzle that must be solved using your mind as well as your fists.

Yu encounters many foes on his path to the capital, and he is always outnumbered, but he has a secret weapon: the Foresight, a meditative technique that allows him to mentally perceive fights over and over until he finds a sequence of movements that allows him to overcome the odds.

Once ready, our hero must fight in reality, where losing means starting everything over, but progress is permanent. Winning doesn’t always mean he will emerge from each encounter unscathed, but the further he travels, the stronger he will become.

Forestrike is the latest creation from Skeleton Crew, the team behind 2021’s Olija, also published by Devolver, and continues the studio’s unique artistic style, combat and fantasy-based storytelling.

The Open Beta will run from Friday, 19 July through to Monday, July 22 AEST, granting players a weekend’s worth of galactic action on PS5 and PC. Jump aboard the spaceship Northstar, meet the Freegunners, then head planetside to take on rival crews across multiple different game modes. Open Beta gives you a chance to try out the 16-strong character roster, and get to grips with Crew Builder, the Job Board and more.

From familiar characters like Haymar, Vale, and Lennox to other Northstar crew favourites such as It-Z and Teo, players can experiment with various gameplay dynamics, across multiple planets and maps like Freewater’s intense combat zones on Glance, Water Hazard’s thrilling battles on Leviathan, and the ancient observatory Star Chamber on Gloom. 

Players will find additional gameplay details, tips and lore in the ‘How to Play’ section of the Open Beta’s main menu. When you’re in the vicinity of a Madrazo Bounty, he will contact you with details. Complete three bounties for Martin Madrazo through July 24 and you will be awarded the Weekly Challenge bonus of GTA$100,000. Martin also still needs assistance in Contact Missions — a good resume-builder for any aspiring criminal, they’re paying out a sweet 2X GTA$ and RP all week long too.

Sydney, Australia (July 19, 2024) – Crunchyroll, the ultimate brand for all things anime, is unveiling a new brand identity today. The new look, feel, and sound will reflect the joy that anime brings to fans, tapping into an ethos of fun and celebration.

Crunchyroll continues to bring anime to fans in all the ways they want it across streaming, theatrical, events, games, music, news, consumer products, collectibles, and more. Central to Crunchyroll’s growth has been a focus on connecting fans and creators in celebration of their shared passions.

Starting on July 26 with San Diego Comic-Con, the updated and recharged Crunchyroll brand identity will be rolled out across all fan touchpoints of the organization over the next year.

The updated brand identity includes a modernized logo with a balanced eye symbol and revamped wordmark; a new font set called Crunchyroll Atyp that blends classic and modern elements for improved readability; and a vibrant color system featuring orange, black, white, and taupe to reflect anime’s dynamic nature. The new glyph system boasts over 139 anime and manga-inspired characters, adding depth and personality. A new seven-second audio-visual mnemonic captures the immersive Crunchyroll experience with anime-inspired sound design and playful elements. Collaboration and co-creation with Japanese artists on new textures and patterns further enhance the brand’s authenticity and immersive storytelling.

Fans will first experience the new Crunchyroll look and feel at San Diego Comic-Con, where the brand evolution will be emblazoned across the Rady Shell concert venue in celebration of the Crunchyroll Concert Series. Giving fans even more ways to express and celebrate their love for anime and Japanese pop culture, the two-day event will feature J-Pop sensation LiSA and hyperpop genius Alice Longyu Gao, as well as the One Piece 25th Anniversary: Symphonic Voyage concert in collaboration with Toei Animation, celebrating the iconic series’ 25th anniversary.

Additionally, the new brand identity will also be showcased inside and outside the San Diego Convention Center. There, fans will get a chance to showcase their passion for anime by picking up a limited and fan-forward streetwear collection inspired by the new and refreshed Crunchyroll – designed by 2024 CFDA Fashion Fund finalist Sebastian Ami!
