Set 5, Shimmering Skies, is out now at local game stores across Australia and New Zealand, and marks the start of organised play at over 200 stores in the region. Eager Illumineers can collect and play the newest Disney Lorcana glimmers before the set’s release through mass market retailers and the Disney Store on August 23, 2024. 

In Shimmering Skies, the realm of Lorcana holds a great festival to celebrate its recent victory over Ursula, which concluded the previous set, Ursula’s Return. While most of Lorcana participates in the vibrant, fun-filled activities, a new mystery begins as our Illumineers search for a way to repair the worsening damage Ursula caused to the Great Illuminary.  

Shimmering Skies features Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph with the introduction of characters like Vanellope Von Schweetz and Fix-it Felix Jr. In addition, players can anticipate new gameplay mechanics with an evolved story with gorgeous art – all of which is infused with electric energy that amplifies both the celebration and the gameplay. All cards in this set can be used to update existing Disney Lorcana TCG decks or played alongside the previously released sets, The First Chapter, Rise of the Floodborn, Into the Inklands, and Ursula’s Return

The Disney Lorcana TCG set Shimmering Skies will include two starter decks featuring a combination of Emerald/Steel or Amethyst/Ruby (AU$29.99, NZ$32.99), booster packs of additional cards (AU$9.99, NZ$10.99) and a new Illumineer’s Trove (AU$99.99, NZ$109.99). New accessories include two new playmats, featuring Mirabel from Disney’s Encanto and the “Accomplished Mystic” glimmer of Belle from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (AU$35.99, NZ$39.99), plus a *NEW* 9-pocket portfolio featuring artwork from Disney Lorcana artist Nicholas Kole (AU$35.99, NZ$39.99). Card sleeves (AU$17.99, NZ$19.99) and deck boxes (AU$10.99, NZ$11.99) featuring Disney’s Tiana and Aladdin will also be available.

DOOM + DOOM II Re-Release and DOOM Eternal Mods Beta available now, Plus More Announced at QuakeCon 2024

Today during the QuakeCon welcome stream, id Software’s Marty Stratton and Hugo Martin took to the main stage to announce the new, definitive combined re-release of DOOM + DOOM II, available now worldwide. The id Software team also announced the DOOM Eternal mods beta, bringing official mod support to the award-winning shooter.
 
New Re-Release of DOOM + DOOM II
 
The legendary action FPS titles have been enhanced and combined into a single bundle. Developed by id Software, and originally released in 1993, DOOM pioneered the first-person shooter, setting a standard for all FPS games. The critically acclaimed sequel, DOOM II, followed in 1994.

Netmarble achieved its highest quarterly revenue to-date – reporting globally $579.75 million in revenue during Q2, with $111.97 million in EBITDA. The company recorded an operating profit of $82.44 million and net profit of $120.30 million this quarter.
