Arkadium Unveils New Third Party Publishing for Game Developers Alongside its ‘APF1’ – One Million Dollar Fund

To further support game makers, Arkadium has established the one-million-dollar “Arkadium Publishing Fund 1” (APF1), providing funds and support for BBGs that are identified as great additions to the Arkadium network. Recipients will benefit from sizable funds and support including the opportunity for their game to have a guaranteed one million game starts within its first 90 days of launch. This is accomplished through the reach Arkadium offers its developers via its platform and extensive partnership channels with top web destinations.

Alongside this marquee title, Arkadium is kicking off its third-party efforts with a portfolio of diverse BBG games newly launched from game developers from around the world including: 

  • Multiplayer Chess Online (developer: Foony) – a new chess game geared toward playing real-time with friends 
  • Ridella (developer: Dylan Kapoor) – a riddle game challenging players to solve in as few answers as possible 
  • Categories (developer: Article 19) – a new word game where players will create groups of words that share a common theme to solve the puzzle 
  • Room Escape (developer: Article 19) – an escape game featuring daily puzzles and hundreds of levels 
  • Element Blocks (developer: Famobi) – a captivating puzzle game where players arrange blocks to complete solid rows with no gaps 
  • Zoo Boom (developer: Famobi) – a colorful, animal-themed puzzle game where players complete missions to grow their own zoo

Turn-Based Mystery Dungeon RPG Dragonero: The Rise of Draquir Announced for PC via Steam on September 26th

Face a mysterious, rising evil, journey across vast lands and create your own stories and dungeons in this Epic RPG Adventure

Bologna, Italy, August 9th, 2024 – Independent developer Operaludica announced today that their turn-based mystery dungeon fantasy RPG Dragonero: The Rise of Draquir, will be released on PC via Steam on September 26th, for £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99. Coinciding with the release date, Operaludica will be also exhibiting at the Makuhari Messe from September 26-29 for Tokyo Game Show 2024.

Based on Sergio Bonelli Editore’s monumental ‘Dragonero’ comic series, Operaludica has further announced the release of the distinctive ‘Master Mode’ DLC later this year in Q4. This DLC will allow players to create and share their own dungeons and campaigns with the community through the Steam Workshop.

God of War Ragnarök is coming to PC* on Friday, 20 September. To prepare players for the journey back into the Nine Realms, check out the system requirements below. 

Graphics Technology 

PlayStation is also happy to confirm that God of War Ragnarök on PC supports all major graphics card manufacturer technologies, including:

  • Nvidia DLSS 3.7 
  • AMD FSR 3.1 
  • Intel XeSS 1.3 
  • Frame generation for all technologies utilising that feature 

These technologies will allow players to experience higher resolutions with superior framerates on all types of hardware. Inhabiting the Nine Realms are a vast array of diverse locations and creatures. From the lush jungles of Vanaheim to the snowy mountains of Midgard, a beautiful world awaits you!

Pre-purchase God of War Ragnarök on PC to get access to the Kratos Risen Snow Armor and Atreus Risen Snow Tunic (cosmetic)***.

Players can head to Steam or the Epic Game Store to secure the Risen Snow set before launch on September 20.

CHOOSE YOUR PATH TO GREATNESS IN MONSTER JAM™ SHOWDOWN CAREER MODE

SYDNEY, Australia (August 9, 2024) – A new trailer released today by Milestone and Feld Motor Sports, Inc.™ unveils the secrets of the Monster Jam™ Showdown Tour, the single-player campaign.

Featuring over 130 events grouped into three categories, the Showdown Tour will allow a non-linear progression where fans will get to enjoy a variety of competitions, combining speed and skills without a given order. Designed to welcome different playstyles and exalt the strength of each player, every victory will unlock new events in the same category as the one just played. This way, players will constantly find new challenges akin to their preferences; nonetheless, they’ll get plenty of variety as the same category will include several game modes and allow them to explore all three original environments of the game.

The locations of the Showdown Tour are wild and out of the ordinary, the perfect place to push Monster Jam™ trucks to the limit and unleash their full power even beyond what happens during live events. Following a free-progression approach, it will be possible to race the untamed landscapes of Alaska, Colorado, and Death Valley from the very first minutes of play by navigating a map where all the events will gradually appear as players progress. For instance, after completing a Freestyle competition in Colorado, a new Freestyle contest in another region of the map might become available, as well as a different game mode such as a Best Trick match.

By achieving victories within the same event category, players will collect the tokens they need to access the Showdown Events, which are special boss battles that seal career advancements. Here, they will have to prove to be the worthy owners of some of the most iconic Monster Jam trucks by competing against their previous drivers. In case of success, the rival truck will be added to the player’s private collection and higher-difficulty events within the same category will also be unlocked.  

Importantly, Showdown Events are more than 1v1 races; being fast will not be enough to triumph, as players will also have to please the crowd by performing crazy jumps and destroying as many objects as possible to make the most spectacular run.

This design will leave fans completely free to decide at any time whether to progress within the same category by completing the most difficult events or to test themselves in something different. In one case, they’ll maximise their skills in the game modes they prefer and unlock the associated trucks. However, mastering all categories will be required to fully complete their career and collect all 66 vehicles* and over 140 paint outs available in the game.

Monster Jam Showdown will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™, and PC as of August 29, 2024,with Early Access** available from August 26, 2024.
