Release date unveiled in new trailer for retro-inspired arcade rally racer showing off crazy courses, online battles and more

Los Angeles, CA – September 5th 2024 – Solo-dev Walaber is pleased to announce that Parking Garage Rally Circuit will be coming to PC on September 20th, ahead of a potential Switch and Sega Saturn release in the future. A new release date trailer offers a look at the arcade racer where you drift around parking garages using tight controls and chainable Mario Kart-style boosts. If the game sells 50,000 copies, it will be making its way to Switch in the future and, if it sells 100,000, it will also get a Sega Saturn version!

The “Parking Garage Rally Circuit” tour takes you to parking garages across the US, transformed into race courses (and occasionally beset by the odd falling rock or lighting strike, but don’t worry about that). Designed to look, feel and sound like a lost Sega Saturn game that could have been released in 1998, Parking Garage Rally Circuit delivers delightfully fun time trial racing that’s easy to pick up and play but requires skill to master as you unlock new car classes and compete to top the leaderboards.

Parking Garage Rally Circuit features 8 tracks for you to unlock, along with three progressively harder car classes to race with. As you refine your times by mastering the game’s effortless and compelling drifting system, the game will pull in ever tougher ghosts based on the runs of other players on the leaderboards for you to compete against, always giving you a new challenge to aim for.

If that’s not enough for you, you can also head online to create and join lobbies of up to 8 players and race on any track, with any car class, gaining points after each race. The game will also feature an arcade-style ‘Endurance’ mode where you keep doing laps until you run out of time, with each checkpoint adding a diminishing amount of time. There are also cheat codes in the game for players to discover and unlock fun modifiers, as well as special cars and tracks.

The game also features an amazing original soundtrack composed by The Holophonics, which will be available for purchase on Steam, as well as all major music streaming services once the game launches.

Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns is a new expansion for Mortal Kombat 1, the latest instalment in the acclaimed Mortal Kombat videogame franchise developed by award-winning NetherRealm Studios, which has sold more than 4 million units worldwide to date. Starting today, The Elder Scrolls Online Update 43 is available for free on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 consoles. This latest update introduces a series of improvements and additions to The Elder Scrolls Online for all existing ESO players including Home Tours, and an Infinite Archive update alongside an assortment of quality-of-life improvements. 

As a base-game update, Update 43 is now available on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, following the launch for PC/Mac on August 19. More details on what’s included in this update can be found below.

Update 43 introduces one of the most anticipated new features for Tamriel’s housing enthusiasts in Home Tours, allowing players to explore and admire the creativity of Tamriel’s residents. With Home Tours, players will be able to tour fully decorated and personalised player-owned homes through a curated ‘Recommend’ list, or a free form Browse list. The ‘Recommend’ tab will highlight top-rated player homes as well as newer created homes, providing easy access for those interested in viewing standout designs. Players can also add any home to their favourites, making it simple to revisit these impressive creations whenever they wish.

This update also adds more depth to the Infinite Archive in the form of new maps, enemies, Verses and Visions, and updated loot including new class item sets. TOKYO – 4 September, 2024 – INDIE Live Expo, Japan’s premiere online digital showcase series connecting indie game fans all over the world, announces the return of “INDIE Live Expo 2024.12.7” along with the annual INDIE Live Expo Awards reoccurs on Sunday, 7 December, 2024. 

Game submissions for INDIE Waves will open in mid-September. Participants are encouraged to prepare a 15-second game introduction video for the entry. Please stay tuned for further updates coming soon.

INDIE Live Expo’s May 2024 showcase, streamed simultaneously in Japanese, Chinese, English, and Korean, garnered 7.4 million views. After four years of shining a spotlight on indie games from around the world, INDIE Live Expo has highlighted more than 2750 indie titles to an accumulated 100 million viewers across ten shows since its debut in 2020.

The annual INDIE Live Expo Awards will featurea panel of global games industry veterans bestowing accolades to critically acclaimed recent titles.
