AKIRA YAMAOKA, LEGENDARY SILENT HILL COMPOSER, TO SCORE REMOTHERED: RED NUN’S LEGACY

Catania, April 30 – Stormind Games is proud to announce that Akira Yamaoka, the legendary composer behind the Silent Hill video game and film series, will compose the soundtrack for Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy.

This collaboration marks a turning point for the Remothered franchise, bringing one of the most influential figures in survival horror history to shape the game’s audio identity.

Throughout his career, Akira Yamaoka has been more than a composer, he is the architect of a musical language that redefined the very feeling of fear. His haunting, intimate, and deeply emotional soundscapes made Silent Hill an iconic experience, capable of lingering in players’ minds long after the screen goes dark.

“Horror isn’t just about fear, but something that remains deep within the heart and memory. With Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy, I wanted to create music that becomes one with the space, slowly seeping into the player and leaving a lasting, unexplainable feeling,” said Akira Yamaoka.

“Working with Akira Yamaoka represents a defining moment for Stormind Games and for the entire Remothered journey. His work has shaped the identity of survival horror, and we are proud that his vision will help define the sonic identity of Red Nun’s Legacy. This collaboration is not only an artistic recognition, but also an important step in our ambition to elevate narrative horror in video games,” said Antonio Cannata, CEO of Stormind Games.

With Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy, Yamaoka will bring his unique vision into a narrative universe already rich in psychological tension and mystery, elevating it even further. The result will be a soundtrack that seamlessly blends with gameplay and storytelling, amplifying every moment of dread, every silence and every revelation.

This collaboration represents a meeting of two aligned creative forces: on one side, the artistic legacy of a master of horror; on the other, Stormind Games’ ambition to push narrative horror to new heights.

Further updates and details on Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy will be announced soon. The game is scheduled for release by the end of 2026 on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, PC, and Xbox Series S/X, including physical editions for Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5.

Hunt Intergalactic Criminals Together in Co-Op Roguelite, Bounty Brawl: Most Wanted, Out May 28

Cooperation is key, but only one bounty hunter can take home the loot

April 29, 2026 – Bounty Brawl: Most Wanted, the fast-paced co-op action roguelite shooter from developer Nanuq and publisher Infini Fun, lassos up lucrative fugitives on Thursday, May 28 on Steam for PC.

The most dangerous criminals in the universe require the skills of the most reckless, cash-hoarding bounty hunters. Become one of eight outlaws, like Kyle the robot cowboy with his revolver and powerful special shots, or Xane with her deadly claws. Use each hunter’s powerful lasso to whip across gaps, activate environmental hazards, and deal deadly finishers to staggered targets.

Wrangling these bounties might require some help, and with four-player co-op supporting online matchmaking, private lobbies, and local play, these bosses won’t know what hit them. But when the boss falls, and the reward lies there for the taking, all alliances must end. The squad turns their weapons on each other for the Final Showdown where the last outlaw standing takes home the whole reward. But don’t worry, there’s always another boss with a bounty on their head to collect…

Brevity meets depth as each run in Bounty Brawl: Most Wanted is a quick, three-stage affair, meaning failure offers a quick turnaround to try again, and quick pick-up-and-play sessions. Each hunter has a deep assortment of permanent upgrades to unlock at the home base of Hunter’s Heaven, and each boss provides more challenging debuffs after each victory.

“We love co-op games, but the time commitment that many roguelites require for a full run proved to be a hindrance,” said Nat Rangsarannon, Director of Bounty Brawl at Nanuq. “Enjoy a quick run with some friends…and then another, and another…”

Bounty Brawl: Most Wanted launches on Steam for PC on Thursday, May 28 for $XX.99, with support for English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Thai, and Traditional Chinese language text.

For more information, follow Bounty Brawl: Most Wanted on XFacebook, and TikTok, and join the official Discord server.

Mobile Puzzle Game Quack Quack Attack – PEGG Blaster Announced

Pre-registration for Quack Quack Attack – PEGG Blaster open today

Shanghai, ChinaApril 29, 2026 | Chinese publisher HAOPLAY is thrilled to announce Quack Quack Attack – PEGG Blaster, a casual puzzle game scheduled to launch on iOS and Android later this year. Pre-registration is open from today, promising a whole host of rewards upon the game’s official launch for anyone that signs up.

In Quack Quack Attack – PEGG Blaster, players assume the role of Captain Quack, a duck tasked with helming a magical ark on an oceanic voyage, in a world that’s been devastated by monsters. Quack — along with super-powered avian companions they’ve recruited along the way — must battle dangerous enemies, and overcome many obstacles, on their way to finding a new home for the flock.

Each stage involves players managing a group of birds, as they fire eggs at a variety of adversaries down a pachinko-style board. The goal is to eliminate monsters, and rack up points, by ricocheting eggs from one foe to the next until the board is clear.

Players can optimise their approach on each level with their squad selection: while only five birds can be selected for each stage, there are up to fifty unique birds in the game, across six different classes — Celestial, Cold, Combo, Fire, Lightning, and Strike. Classes interact with one another in different ways, allowing players to try different combinations to find the optimal strategy. Bird stats can be improved through evolving and levelling up, abilities can be altered via the card system, and new equipment can be forged to increase the team’s overall combat power.

In addition to the main campaign, players can hone their skills in the demanding Purgatory Tower, relax and reel in some monsters at the Fishing Ground, or take on other players in the Starry Expedition mode.

Pre-registration is open now on the official Quack Quack Attack – PEGG Blaster website. Anyone who signs up before launch will receive the following rewards when the game is released later this year:

  • Tier 1 Reward: Mystery Egg x10, Gold x1000
  • Tier 2 Reward: Rare Egg x5, Runestone x50
  • Tier 3 Reward: S-Class Hero Shard x10, Bone x100
  • Tier 4 Reward: A-Class Monster Capsule x5, Exclusive “Novice” Avatar Frame
  • Tier 5 Reward: A-Class Hero – Cutie Duck

Quack Quack Attack – PEGG Blaster will launch later this year on iOS and Android.

Junkfish Returns to First-Person Survival Horror with New Title Wilderdark

Explore a perilous dinosaurs-infested island and uncover the fate of a missing expedition – demo on Steam from 7 May

Dundee, Scotland – 30 April, 2026 – Junkfish is excited to unveil Wilderdark, a brand-new first-person survival horror title, coming to Steam in 2026. Starting 7 May, players will be able to  get an early taste of the adventure by stepping onto its eerie, mystery-shrouded island in a newly released demo on Steam

Wilderdark is a survival horror exploration game set on an unnatural island overtaken by a mysterious ectoparasitic organism that has begun corrupting both dinosaurs and plant life. Players take on the role of a field operative sent in by a shadowy organisation in pursuit of immortality, tasked with documenting the island’s ecosystem, collecting samples, and uncovering the fate of earlier expeditions — including one led by the protagonist’s own parents.

In Wilderdark, players find themselves crash-landed on a hostile island with only minimal resources to survive. Every step matters in this tense and atmospheric world, where stealth is key and even the smallest sound can attract the attention of deadly apex predators. The island is teeming with unfamiliar and dangerous lifeforms, including grotesque, parasite-infected dinosaurs. To uncover the truth, players will need to carefully observe their surroundings, document discoveries through photography, and craft essential tools from whatever they can find. It’s a constant balancing act: use resources wisely, stay out of sight, and think one step ahead of the island’s relentless hunters.

Take a closer look at Wilderdark’s dangerous world in the cinematic trailer below.

“We’ve been holding onto Wilderdark as a well-kept secret for over three years, and we’re super excited to finally shine a spotlight on it,” said Ellie Gibbs, Senior Marketing Manager at Junkfish. “After years of quietly building it behind-the-scenes, it feels amazing to share something that marks our return to the kind of horror our community has been asking for. The demo is just the beginning…step in next week and see what’s been lurking in the dark.”

Launching in 2026, Wilderdark marks Junkfish’s return to the stealth survival horror genre following their hit title Monstrum.
