Introducing Ghost Face – Hunt: Showdown 1896’s Stealthy New Hunter – Out October 24!

In a new collaboration, Hunt: Showdown 1896 partners with Fun World to bring Ghost Face® to the supernatural world of Hunt… just in time for Halloween

FRANKFURT, Germany  Oct. 21, 2024 Hunt: Showdown 1896 has partnered with Fun World to introduce Ghost Face® to the gunslinging world of Hunt. The “Ghost Face® RampageDLC includes one Hunter (Ghost Face®), two weapons – the Hush (Frontier 73C Silencer) and Whisper (a Bornheim No. 3 Silencer), and a tool – Life Taker (a knife). The included weapons are silent, offering players an edge in fast-paced, close-quarters combat, which Hunt is famous for.

“Ghost Face® Rampage” retails at $9.99/€9.99 and will be available on Steam, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on October 24.

The character was designed to fit into the 19th century world which Hunt takes place in. This is a unique take on Ghost Face® with a never-before-seen design. Stefan Heinrich, Lead Art Director for Hunt, comments further:

“The character design was interesting to work on as it had to fit into the gritty, dark corners of the 1890s setting that Hunt is famous for. For example, the iconic mask is now a hand-carved wooded mask, weathered and cracked, a tattered, battle-worn duster replaces the robe, and to complete the look, leather holsters and gear have been added, giving him the tools of a 19th century Hunter while maintaining his iconic style. We hope Ghost Face® & Hunt fans enjoy the new DLC as much as we enjoyed designing it.”

This is a first horror collaboration for Hunt: Showdown 1896 and the perfect accompaniment as the game moves into celebrating the spooky season with its Harvest of Ghosts in-game event, going on now until Nov. 25, 2024.

Purchase the “Ghost Face® Rampage” DLC October 24 and dominate the shadows during Hunt: Showdown 1896‘s newest Halloween event!

About Hunt: Showdown 1896

Hunt: Showdown 1896 is the new era of the competitive first-person bounty hunting game, packing the thrill of survival and the reward of profit into a horror match-based format. Set in Colorado in 1896, the game boasts a mixture of PvP and PvE elements that create a uniquely tense experience. It’s not just the monsters who are a threat—it’s every Hunter on the map. In the classic Bounty Hunt game mode, a match pits 12 players—playing solo or in teams of two or three—against each other as they race to take out gruesome creatures for a Bounty they must collect and extract from the map. Hunt‘s Soul Survivor mode offers a shorter match for solo players to scavenge for weapons as they compete for a diminishing pool of Bounty. The higher the risk, the higher the reward–but a single mistake could cost you everything. Hunt: Showdown 1896 is out now on PC, PlayStation 5 and Series X|S. Reclaim The City & Embrace Open-World Chaos In It’s Only Money, Out Now

Imagine if Nintendo had secretly made GTA for kids and then tried to cover it up. Yep, that’s it!

Edinburgh, Scotland – October 21st, 2024 – Firestoke and Usual Suspects are excited to announce that their off-the-wall, third-person open world simulation, It’s Only Money, is now out of Early Access for it’s full 1.0 release with a 30% launch discount! It’s Only Money sees you take on the role of an Undercity resident, cast down by the newly elected evil mayor into the sewers and subways. Your goal is to venture to the surface, along, or with up to three other players via online co-op, to steal, fight, destroy and, ultimately, take down the corporations owned by the Mayor’s corrupt cohorts.

Win back the city block by block as you buy houses, businesses, clothes and cars. Every house you buy brings more people back from the Undercity to the surface, allowing you to customise their living spaces for gameplay buffs and unique items. Invest in properties like the landlord you’ve always wanted to be. Become the 1%, profit off the land and contribute nothing to society! Concentration of wealth? Sounds like a poor people problem.

Rockhaven is your playground. Pickpocket the wealthy, steal cars for a wild joyride, or jack a UFO and take it for a spin! Test your combat skills with new moves available at the Dojo, or take on the Mayor’s inner circle in epic Takeover missions, including boss fights against his lieutenants. Join with up to 3 other friends (or randoms) to steal together, fight together, complete missions together or just hang out in a club and gamble.

Enjoying rave reviews on Steam during its Early Access phase, It’s Only Money has steadily been adding new features like  epic ‘Takeover’ missions, minimum-wage-earning side-hustles minigames and Metro Dungeon – a roguelite combat experience. With the 1.0 release, It’s Only Money gets even better, with the addition of expanded player upgrades, new missions, enhanced vehicle systems. Enjoy the ride, cause chaos, and, most importantly, reclaim what’s yours.

“We’re really excited to release It’s Only Money today,” said Aaron Alexander, Co-Founder of Usual Suspects. “Thank you to everyone who has visited Rockhaven during the game’s Early Access period, given us great reviews and feedback and helped make the game better building to this 1.0 release. We’re looking forward to the population of Rockhaven booming!”

About Usual Suspects

Usual Suspects was founded in 2020 by Aaron Alexander & Jayde Cohen. Against all conventional wisdom and sensible business practices, somehow It’s Only Money was successfully developed and released to the world. Despite an admittedly “rough” exterior, the developers at Usual Suspects have a combined 35 years of experience in the games industry, shipping titles from the indie level all the way up to AAA at various studios.

Underground Garage Delayed Until November 7th

BeardedBrothers.Games are delaying the Early Access release of Underground Garage until November 7th. The team decided it was necessary to pump the brakes for their Need For Speed meets Car Mechanic Simulator blend of car customisation and racing to spend more time under the hood before the release. While Underground Garage will of course enjoy improvements during its Early Access period, BearderBros nonetheless want to ensure that the game starts off on the right foot and the team is primed to respond to community feedback on release, hence the need for the delay.

Underground Garage lets you delve deep under the hood to tweak every conceivable aspect of your car, give it a custom paint job and then take it out into an open world to complete story quests, take on challenges and test it against your friends. Players who want to try the game out before it launches can head to Steam and download the recently released demo.

After a gang tied to illegal racing and smuggling leads to the garage owner missing, it’s up to you and your colleague Deb to restore the garage and solve the mystery. Unlock new tools and workstations as the story progresses and you upgrade your garage. With the new tools at your disposal, you can purchase rundown cars and parts from the junkyard and go to work to restore them to their former glory.

During its time in early access Sengoku Dynasty has gone from strength to strength with several defining content updates that have added considerable scope and depth that has enhanced the overall player experience to present players with perhaps the most authentic multi-genre open-world game set in feudal Japan.
