All New Trailer Showcases Solo Campaign Mode, New Champions, and Fierce PvP battles for the Fast-Paced Tactical RPG

Paris, France, October 31st, 2024 – Independent developer Gemelli Games has announced that their highly anticipated fantasy tactical RPG, Skygard Arena, will be available on Steam Early Access starting November 18th. To mark the occasion, the team has unveiled a new trailer that invites players into the colorful world of Skygard, a realm forever altered by an ancient cataclysm.

In Skygard Arena, players lead the Champions of five factions vying for victory in the Tournament of the Ancients, where disputes are settled through intense tactical battles. The new trailer showcases the game’s unique combat system, where Champions can dash, teleport, and unleash game-changing combos in a single turn, as well as a glimpse at the content that awaits players for the Early Access launch.

The trailer introduces two new formidable Champions:the valiant front-liner Vallya and the cat-assassin Bu Shin. These two join the roster that was previously available in the public Demo version, bringing the total to nine playable Champions, with more to come during Early Access.

Players can also catch a glimpse of the all-new solo Campaign mode, featuring hand-crafted tactical missions: intense clashes between the Champions, objective capture run, unique enemies and maps, large-scale battles, epic boss encounters… The first three chapters will be available at Early Access launch, and more are planned to be released in future updates.

For players looking for freeform battles, the game’s Arena mode, already acclaimed by the community of Demo players, promises exhilarating battles. In this mode, teams of three Champions face each other, capturing objectives or eliminating their opponents to grab enough victory points. Those interested in online competition can face other players in matchmaking, while others looking to have fun solo can challenge an AI with several levels of difficulty.

With sights set on developing a competitive scene, Price of Glory will offer two types of tournaments, Salt Tournaments and Cash Tournaments. Salt tournaments can be entered using Salt, the main in-game currency, and will give Salt and Salt Crystals as rewards. Conversely, Cash Tournaments will feature real money, with entry requirements offering real cash prizes for top placements. Salt Crystals can also be used to enter Cash Tournaments, giving every player the chance to earn their way to cash rewards through skill. A unique Dynasty system in the works will also offer all players an opportunity to earn additional rewards based on membership activity within their dynasty.

Gameplay Features:

• Asynchronous play encourages players to play how they want, when they want, giving them up to 24 hrs per turn, or 5 minutes when playing in blitz mode.

Six four-player teams will face off on Street Fighter 6, the publisher’s flagship fighting game, in daily programmes broadcast at the following times:

• Second leg – November 21-25, every day 18:00 GMT
• Playoffs – November 26, 14:00 GMT
