ANTONBLAST Launch Trailer Debuts at The MIX Ahead of Dec. 3 PC & Switch Release

MIAMI BEACH, Florida – Nov. 21, 2024 – ANTONBLAST, the fast-paced explosive action platformer all about destruction from developer Summitsphere and publisher Joystick Ventures, smashes towards Happy Hour with its launch trailer premiere as part of The MIX Fall Showcase. Lean into Anton’s destructive momentum when the game launches on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch on Tuesday, Dec. 3.

Satan (voiced by Gianni Matragrano of ULTRAKILL fame) has stolen Dynamite Anton’s prized collection of sippable Spirits for daring to be redder than the devil! Unfortunately for the prince of darkness, Anton is one of Boiler City’s most destructive destruction workers, and wields a Mighty F’n Hammer…and a dedicated scream button.

Guide the unstoppable force that is Anton’s screaming red face through an explosive, bizarre world. Rage alongside colleagues like Anton’s cranked-out co-worker (and second playable character!) Annie and disgraced casino owner Brulo. Detonate anything and everything to make the devil pay for his dastardly dirty deeds. Maintain speed with angry acrobatics in multiple modes beyond the main story, including Arcade, Time Trial, and Combo Chain modes.

“For the last three years, the team at Summitsphere has been hard at work on making sure ANTONBLAST is an absolute blast of maximum style,” says Tony Grayson, Fearless Leader at Summitsphere. “We’ve poured every inch of redness we have in our bodies into this game so Anton can be the reddest thing on the planet. On an unrelated note, I’m proud to announce that Summitsphere is now accepting blood donations.”

As showcased today at The MIX, ANTONBLAST launches into a full sprint towards its Tuesday, Dec. 3 launch date on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch. Devil-haters with a penchant for demolition can follow Summitsphere on their official websiteTwitter/XTikTok, and Instagram, join their Discord server, and visit Joystick Ventures’ official website and follow them on Twitter/X.

Surreal bodycam psychological horror game Dreamcore teases hallucinatory world Eternal Suburbia

Play the timed demo from December 10th-31st!

Buenos Aires, Argentina, November 21st, 2024 – Indie developer Montraluz, in partnership with publisher Tlön Industries, have revealed an all new trailer for their upcoming surreal first-person, body-cam psychological horror game Dreamcore as part of today’s MIX Showcase. Coming to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms in early 2025, this latest look at Dreamcore teases the game’s second world, Eternal Suburbia.

Inspired by the enigmatic cottages from Level 94 of the Backrooms wiki, where a seemingly idyllic neighborhood takes on a disturbingly reality-breaking form as it twists, expands, and loops around in uncanny ways. Can you uncover the unsettling secret that lies beyond its familiar façade?

Want to wander this labyrinthine nightmare neighborhood yourself? Then you’re in luck as a demo will be coming to Steam on December 10th, where it will remain until the end of the year.

Dreamcore sets players loose to explore a multitude of extraordinary, expansive worlds based around labyrinths of liminal spaces. Inspired by the “backrooms” memes, Dreamcore offers a one-of-a-kind experience to probe these nonlinear realms, with each world featuring a unique puzzle players must solve in order to locate its exit.

Developed in Unreal Engine 5, each of Dreamcore’s worlds offers a hazy, twisted memory of the 1980s, complete with the grainy aesthetic of found footage VHS tapes. Navigate intricately linked structures and captivating landscapes, where every environment encourages unparalleled adventures and exploration. Each map presents a vast range of possibilities, delivering entirely distinct experiences.

Colony Sim ‘Roman Triumph: Survival City Builder’ Drops Limited-Time Demo Today

Earn favor with gods, battle mythical monsters on PC via Steam

MONTREAL – 21 Nov. 2024 – Roman Triumph: Survival City Builder, the colony sim balancing human prosperity and ancient mythology from developer Coreffect Interactive and publisher Forklift Interactive, survives divine dangers in a new limited-time weeklong demo on PC via Steam starting today, as revealed in The MIX Fall showcase.

Build a flourishing Roman colony in an expanding empire. Fortify the city to protect it from plentiful outside threats, grow and harvest resources, and attract and retain citizens. Balance the favor of powerful gods to earn their blessings and avoid disastrous attacks from above. Will the blossoming metropolis crumble or triumph against titanic odds?

Strategically grow a city worthy of its citizens, create housing, industrial, social, and religious structures to avoid plague, crime, and invasions. Foster a thriving society by prioritizing and researching key buildings such as the Senat, Insula, and Hospitium. Trade with merchants and increase the production of food and materials to match the growing population’s needs.

Shield the colony from growing armies of ruthless northern barbarians and legendary mythological beasts like the Minotaur and Hydra. Fend off attempts at devastating invasion with sturdy walls, massive towers, accurate ballistae, and other defenses. Grow ever stronger through strategic use of research trees to unlock new weapons and train a loyal army to send the enemy’s way.

Weigh risks and benefits in the face of the Roman pantheon, earning favor with chosen deities and passing on the wishes of others. Comply with the rules and build magnificent temples for Venus, Ceres, Mars, and many more. Take care not to anger other gods in the process, lest they unleash their wrath via lightning, infection, monsters, and other plagues.

“Our team was incredibly thorough when creating Roman Triumph, making sure to include a wide scope of elements crucial to the society of ancient Rome,” said Andrei Podoprigora, Co-Founder and CEO at Forklift Interactive. “With such diverse gameplay focuses surrounding city building, tower defense, and balancing the god’s whims, we can’t wait to see what our community’s cities become!”

The new demo of Roman Triumph: Survival City Builder is available now during this week only on PC via Steam. The full experience will march onto PC via Steam Early Access in Q1 2025, and will support English with more languages planned for Early Access.

Barcelona, Spain – 21 November 2024. Today at The MIX Fall Showcase, indie developers Ground Game Atelier revealed the third gameplay trailer for their upcoming adventure RPG, The Time I Have Left, announcing a new demo and Kickstarter.

Since being showcased on the Future Games Show and IGN Live, the game has had nearly 20,000 wishlists, however, the team needs help completing their debut title. A Kickstarter campaign is now live for those who want to crowdfund the game, and a demo is available on Steam, offering players a preview of the game’s first hours.

Near-Death Experience Demo:
A two-hour demo featuring gameplay from Chapter One is available on Steam, where players will play as Aline in a pulse-pounding escape from Colony 7. Encounter various enemies, challenge the first boss, and explore The Time I Have Left’s unique combat and skill systems.

Kickstarter:
To help support the team in the completion of The Time I Have Left, a Kickstarter campaign is now live. Rewards for backers include an exclusive t-shirt, digital copies of the stunning art and soundtrack, and the opportunity for backers to make their own mark on the game by designing content in the final game. Stretch goals include the chance to add more enemy types and a new area, and if unlocked, porting the game to consoles.

The Time I Have Left has been in development for three years, but 2024 has been a tough year for game developers and independent studios,” says Juan Estévez (Yite), creative lead at Ground Game Atelier. “The Time I Have Left is already half complete, but without community support we may not be able to finish our passion project. We hope you’ll check out the trailer, download the demo and enjoy it enough to help us Kickstart the game and bring The Time I Have Left to players around the world.”

About The Time I Have Left:
As the seemingly lone inhabitant of the underground city of Colony 7, you take on the role of Aline who has been marked for death by a mysterious phenomenon known as ‘The Miasma’. The Time I Have Left is a time-driven escape adventure where the race is on to discover dark secrets, unlock new skills, and face your foes.

The Time I Have Left features:

  • Reactive Turn-Based Mechanics: Aline faces grotesque creatures in her Near-Death Experiences. You must time your movements well to evade directional attacks and master your foes’ patterns to escape unharmed.
  • Nostalgic flair, modern spin: A fresh take on the classic JRPG formula. Find clues, solve puzzles, unlock hidden areas, and secure your escape from Colony 7, all rendered in striking style.
  • Time-driven story and gameplay: Time flows in mysterious ways. After each level the timer will adjust to keep up with the story, so leave the area in the nick of time to get the most of each level.
  • Knowledge is power: New abilities are unlocked as you uncover clues and complete the in-game database. The more you explore, the more tools you’ll have to face the creatures you encounter.
  • Deep, dark secrets: Use the information you gather to unlock shortcuts, hidden stories, unique items, and secrets. You may not discover them all in a single playthrough.

The Time I Have Left’s demo is available on Steam now. You can support the developers on Kickstarter and visit www.groundga.com to learn more about this thrilling psychological adventure.
