Heartfelt puzzle-adventure platformer MONOWAVE launches today on Steam and Nintendo Switch

Explore a heartfelt world of emotions, puzzles and evolving abilities in Studio BBB’s award-winning adventure

Seoul, South Korea – September 16th, 2026 – Independent developer Studio BBB has today launched its heartfelt puzzle-adventure platformer MONOWAVE on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch for £7.39/$9.99/8.99€, with a limited-time launch 10% launch discount.  Combining atmospheric exploration, thoughtful platforming and emotion-driven puzzles, MONOWAVE follows Mono, a newborn Guardian tasked with restoring balance to a mysterious world by reuniting four scattered Emotions: Anxiety, Anger, Sorrow and Happiness.

MONOWAVE sees Mono reunite the scattered Emotions one by one, each changing how they navigate and interact with the world. Anxiety lets Mono sense traps, Anger enables wall-jumps, Sorrow lets them melt through narrow gaps, and Happiness increases their jump height. As the adventure progresses, these abilities evolve further, giving Mono new ways to explore and overcome the challenges they encounter.

Mono’s abilities extend beyond movement, with the game’s 18 spirits each reacting differently to their current Emotion. By singing to nearby spirits, players can experiment with Anxiety, Anger, Sorrow and Happiness to discover 72 possible interactions that can affect puzzles and traversal. The four major boss encounters are similarly shaped by their ruling Emotion, putting players’ understanding of each Emotion to the test.

Beyond the main adventure, MONOWAVE features eight hidden stages, with two secret stages in each of its four main regions, alongside dedicated Codices covering spirits, environments, worlds and the four Emotion Spirits. Together, these optional discoveries offer plenty of opportunities to uncover more of MONOWAVE’s world and the emotions that shape it.

“We wanted players to experience emotions and empathy through play,” said Gwonyeong Lim, CEO of Studio BBB. “In MONOWAVE, paying attention to how a spirit feels can help you find a way forward. We hope players enjoy discovering those connections, whether they’re playing on their own or sharing the adventure with someone else.”

MONOWAVE is available today on Steam and Nintendo Switch. The PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are planned for release later in 2026.

Key Features:

  • Four Emotions, Eight Abilities: Master Anxiety, Anger, Sorrow and Happiness, with each Emotion evolving into a second movement ability after its corresponding boss encounter.
  • 72 Spirit Reactions: Experiment with 18 unique spirits, each responding differently to Mono’s four Emotions and creating new opportunities for puzzle-solving and traversal
  • Two Expansive Later Worlds: Navigate the freezing currents and brittle ice of The Somber Trench, then manipulate light, shadow and gravity across The Blissful Islands.
  • Emotion-Driven Boss Encounters: Face four powerful Emotion Spirits whose attacks and arenas embody Anxiety, Anger, Sorrow and Happiness.
  • Eight Hidden Stages: Discover two secret stages in each of the game’s four main regions.
  • Heartfelt Storytelling: Explore a touching, wordless narrative about the complexity and humanity of emotions.
  • Whimsical Art & Original Soundtrack: Experience a scratch-art-inspired visual style and evocative original score designed to bring MONOWAVE’s emotional world to life.
  • Solo or Local Co-Op: Explore the full adventure solo or share the journey in local co-op, with a second player joining as Prism. Playing on Steam also supports Remote Play Together too.

Sniper Dan Review

Sniper Dan

Developer: Denki
Publisher: PQube
Platforms: Xbox Series X (Reviewed), PlayStation 5, PC, Switch
Release Date: Available Now
Price: $12.99 USD – Available Here

Overview

For the longest time as a child one of the easiest ways to waste some time was with a “Where’s Waldo?” book before the internet became a thing. Spending time searching through a ridiculous scene trying to find the lone striped sweater-wearing man and a few other objects that would usually be highlighted were a delight for the young mind. Now take that concept, add a sniper rifle into the mix, and you have Sniper Dan, a child-friendly game about hunting down objects and problems spread across stages just as chaotic as the classic books. The question is, is this child-friendly take on a sniping game worth it?

Story

As far as a storyline goes, Sniper Dan really doesn’t have one. He’s a man named Dan who has a business and a license from the mayor of the town to freely snipe away any problems or tasks that the people might need help with across six different locations throughout town. Dan makes it a point that he is strictly against harming animals or people, though doing so only results in some minor money loss and a knock against their level score. Some characters do re-appear across multiple stages and each stage, except for the park, spans across three days and can have various events develop from earlier missions, such as needing to chop down a bean stalk on the third day that players helped grow the first day.

Gameplay

The first stage, Perky Park, serves as a tutorial of sorts that helps ease players into what they can expect with Sniper Dan as it is a smaller level and features a wide-range of missions. These missions are all lined up on the right hand side of the screen and have little hints about what the player must do. Sometimes they are fairly straightforward such as asking someone to help push them on the swingset to get rid of all the leaf piles while others are more vague like taking a selfie or blowing bubbles. Players can use “hint tickets” to unveil the location of where the characters are on the map but these are limited and cost a reputation point to replenish.

Regardless of the stage, Dan will always be perched up on his shooting tower, occasionally with a plushie awarded for perfecting a stage or gun key-chain which oddly dangles from the top of the screen rather than the rifle. Here players will aim down the sight and can initially zoom in as far as 32x and up to 64x with an upgrade and search for whatever they might need to target for any given mission. These can range from multi-shot missions such as helping to clean a chimney clogged with soot to single shots to help light a match. Every mission completed will reward players with money and it is possible to fail a mission by missing a shot and shooting the person involving it, especially if it happens to be a mission where a character is holding the item to their body, making the expensive 64x upgrade all the more worthwhile.

While there is no time limit per day or level, there is a “Par time” of usually 15 minutes a stage and as long as players finish every task within that time limit they’ll gain a higher rank and extra reputation at the end of the day. In fact, reputation is based entirely off of time, if hints were used, completed missions, and failed missions, ranging from B, A, to a perfect S with one, two, or three reputation points matching the grade. It is also fun to note that there are little unlockables as well that players can eventually display later on such as magnets for achieving A ranks in levels and even plushies for completing a level entirely.

Alongside the standard missions players will be assigned in a level they will also occasionally get “answerphone” missions that are urgent and must be completed ASAP or risk failure, though these are generally pointed out with big arrows so players at least know what they are looking at, but not what they need to shoot to solve the problem. Upon completing a second day players will also unlock a “bonus” game that is basically a shooting gallery arcade game with a prize should players manage to hit every target in the time limit. Finally on the third day players will find themselves challenging a “boss” style mission and these range from either being a bit simple to being downright difficult. Unfortunately these boss missions also count as a job and only can be done upon completing every job on Day 3, so failing the final mission results in an automatic B no matter what which is rather disappointing.

That being said, the biggest part of Sniper Dan is the replayability element. While the Jobs remain the same every day in every one of the six locations, the actual positioning of most of the jobs changes. This means while players might need to help milk a cow near the barn the first time, it might be entirely on the other side of the map tucked next to a house next time. It is also worth noting that every map features ten fireworks, ten banana peels, a “Waldo” knock-off, and oddly enough a jiāngshī of all things, to shoot in every level. Though players will simply need to  knock the hat off of the Waldo and talisman off of the jiāngshī’s forehead to make it flee to complete them.

As players gain money and reputation they can unlock additional stages at the cost of reputation or head to the market where they can buy various cosmetics such as different costumes for Dan to wear, gun upgrades such as increased zoom, reload, clip size, and bolt speed, a gachapon machine, a fridge to place magnets on rewarded from A ranks and to store achievement items, as well as office decorations that will boost the overall money earning rate slightly. For example, players can have their office decorated like a castle with a Little Shop of Horrors Audrey II sitting on their desk while dressed as a pirate should they feel like it. Reputation can also be used to purchase mini-games that can be played in the office, again with shooting them, such as table tennis, air hockey, and bowling. Players can also unlock extra game modes for stages such as time attack and ammo hunt to challenge themselves and give the game even further replayability.

Audio & Visuals

Sniper Dan is very colorful and bright and it helps make every stage look completely ridiculous at the same time. The stages are decently varied and there are plenty of things that players can shoot and break outside of Job targets, some of which even trigger responses from the people out in the level, like blowing the food out of a guy’s hand and having him curse at the player. Stage designs are quite complex and with the amount of wild animals doing zany looking things mixed in with people doing just as ridiculous things players will have a lot to see in every stage, with there even being a camera players can buy to swap to and take photos of.

The game features no voice work of any kind but does feature a decent amount of options to customize the way the player’s gun sounds when it shoots and strikes something, including joke sound effects for kids. The soundtrack consists of mostly generic background music but works well enough for a game such as this as it doesn’t distract from seeking out the items required for Jobs.

Overall

Crafting a hidden-object game around a sniper rifle of all things is certainly a unique idea and one that works out quite well for Sniper Dan. It’s a fun and colorful game with plenty of ways to replay and aim for a higher score or perfect result. It does have a few issues such as an eventual lack of varied content and some poorly designed clues or boss jobs that feel overly punishing for no reason, this is a great type of game that is fun for the whole family and at a fairly cheap price at that.

BloomKeeper Launches Today On Steam

Guide the Pouics, push back the corruption, and restore the island of Hedera in a real-time tactical adventure!

Montpellier, France, September 16, 2026 – Resonance Interactive today announced that BloomKeeper, its real-time tactical adventure is available on Steam. To celebrate the release, the studio has also unveiled a brand-new Launch Trailer, giving players a new look at the tactical challenges, environmental transformation, and growing dangers that await across the island of Hedera.

In BloomKeeper, players become the Guardian, responsible for leading a colony of small, curious creatures called Pouics through a world devastated by fire and corruption. Wherever the colony travels, nature begins to return, transforming scorched ground into living landscapes. Keeping that progress alive, however, requires careful planning, quick reactions, and constant attention to the Pouics under your protection.

Combining exploration, colony guidance, environmental restoration, and real-time tactical decision-making, BloomKeeper challenges players to balance forward momentum with the need to secure the ground they have already reclaimed. The game can be played solo or cooperatively with up to four players.

ABOUT THE GAME

Restore Hedera, One Region at a Time
Hedera has been consumed by ashes, leaving the Pouics with an immense task ahead of them. Guided by the player, the colony brings color and vegetation back to the island as it travels deeper into each region.

But restoration comes with challenge. Scorched zones continue to spread throughout each region, becoming increasingly dangerous as players approach the source of the corruption. Moving quickly can create opportunities, but pushing too far without protecting the land behind you can allow the ashes to take hold once again. Each journey therefore becomes a constant balance between progress, protection, and control.

Protect a Colony That Depends on You
Pouics are central to everything players do in BloomKeeper. Gathering more of them can open new paths and help the colony move through the world more efficiently, but larger groups also become increasingly difficult to manage.

Natural hazards, cliffs, lakes, environmental obstacles, and forces capable of scattering the colony all influence how players navigate Hedera. Reading the terrain and reacting at the right moment can mean the difference between keeping the group together and watching a carefully planned route unravel.

The environment itself can also become part of the solution. Choosing the right path and making smart use of the terrain can help contain the spread of corruption and preserve areas that have already been restored.

When Pouics Fall, the World Pushes Back
Losing a Pouic can have consequences beyond the colony itself. Pouics claimed by corruption can become Malpouics, hostile creatures that accelerate the spread of scorched zones and make an already difficult situation increasingly dangerous. A mistake can therefore change the state of the level, forcing players to adapt their approach as the threat grows.

Protecting the colony, preserving restored territory, and containing corruption are all interconnected parts of BloomKeeper’s tactical challenge.

Play Alone or Restore the World Together
BloomKeeper offers two distinct ways to explore Hedera. In solo play, players can approach each region at their own pace, carefully managing the colony and responding to the changing environment.

In co-op for up to four players, communication and coordination become part of the challenge. Players must keep track of one another, work together to manage the Pouics, and react collectively when the journey takes an unexpected turn.

A World That Responds to How You Play
The spread of corruption evolves according to player progress, meaning the same region can create different priorities from one run to another.

Route choices, the size and safety of the colony, the areas players choose to secure, and the way they manage regrowth all influence how a journey across Hedera develops. BloomKeeper brings these systems together with the visual satisfaction of seeing a devastated landscape gradually return to life.

Key Features

  • Real-time tactical adventure combining exploration, colony guidance, and environmental restoration
  • Guide and protect the fragile Pouics across the island of Hedera
  • Dynamic corruption that spreads and intensifies as players progress
  • Use terrain and environmental features to protect restored areas
  • Lost Pouics can become Malpouics, making corruption even harder to contain
  • Play solo or in online co-op for up to four players
  • Changing conditions and player decisions reshape the priorities of each run
  • Watch scorched landscapes transform as nature gradually returns to Hedera

“With BloomKeeper, we wanted restoration to feel like an active part of the challenge, where bringing nature back and protecting the Pouics are directly tied to the decisions players make,” said Valentin Livi, Creative Director at Resonance Interactive. “After years of building Hedera and its inhabitants, we’re incredibly excited to finally open the island to players and see how they choose to bring it back to life.”

BloomKeeper is available now on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3034650/BloomKeeper/

ABOUT RESONANCE INTERACTIVE
At Resonance Interactive, we believe games can open doors to wonder. We are an independent studio devoted to creating evocative worlds, distinctive characters, and experiences that resonate beyond the screen. Shaped by curiosity, persistence, and a love of storytelling, our work is guided by a simple ambition: to create something meaningful, and to give players a place where imagination can bloom.

Sniper Dan – Gameplay

0

Sniper rifles and child friendly gaming usually don’t mix well together unless it happens to be a colorful puzzle game about tracking down hidden objects and missions. Watch as we shoot away people’s problems and make more across a few stages in PQube’s Sniper Dan.

Sniper Dan – Gameplay

Sniper Dan puts an unusual spin on the hidden-object genre by handing handyman Dan a high-powered sniper rifle and sending him across Clumsy County to solve everyday problems from a very long distance. Rather than hunting enemies, you’ll study colourful 3D environments through your scope, decipher clues, identify what’s gone wrong and take the perfect shot to fix everything from rusty taps and malfunctioning machinery to troublesome signs, balloons and even a thieving pelican. Nobody gets hurt—Dan is here to make everyone’s day a little better.

Explore villages, farms, parks, airports, cities and more while completing hundreds of ridiculous jobs, optional challenges and secret objectives. Earn cash and reputation to upgrade Dan’s rifle, customise his appearance, decorate his office and expand his problem-solving business, or take a break with mini-games and additional modes including Time Attack, Ammo Hunt and Photo Mode. With dynamic solutions that can change jobs between playthroughs, Sniper Dan combines precision shooting, observation and puzzle-solving with plenty of lighthearted humour.

Anraga Studios and The Farm 51 announce Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance

0

Step into the middle of fires, disasters, and crises. Search for the missing, deliver aid to the injured, and reach places too dangerous to send a person.

Warsaw, 16.09.2026 – Anraga Studios and The Farm 51 announce Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance – a story-driven rescue action simulator set in the near future, in which the drone becomes the player’s primary tool.

Fires, explosions, natural disasters, infrastructure failures, missing people, and extreme weather events – during the campaign, the player is sent wherever a situation spirals out of control. They must assess the threat, decide how to respond, choose the right machine, and carry out the operation under time pressure.

Alongside the announcement, the game’s first reveal trailer is being published along with its store page on Steam [STEAM LINK], where players can already add the game to their wishlist.

When a person can’t go in, you send a drone

The drone in Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance is not a flying camera, but a physical machine the player has to learn to control.

Mass, inertia, thrust, aerodynamics, battery, damage, and weather conditions all affect how the drone behaves. Wind can push the machine off course, extra weight will change how it responds to controls, and a configuration prepared earlier in the workshop can make a real difference during an operation.

The game will offer two control models. Simulator will be an experience closer to real drone piloting, while Arcade will use additional assistance, letting players with no drone experience jump in quickly too.

Between operations, the player will upgrade and modify their machines, choosing parts that affect their performance, durability, and flight character.

Second Chance

The title Second Chance refers not only to the people rescued during missions. The unit is made up of experienced specialists who, due to accidents, illness, age, or traumatic experiences, can no longer do their former jobs in the traditional way. Technology gives them a way back.

It doesn’t replace their knowledge, experience, or instinct. It lets them use it again – to lead an operation from a safe distance, to reach places a person can’t enter, and to keep doing what once defined their lives: saving others. That is their second chance.

A near future with analog DNA

Although the game takes place in the near future, Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance deliberately moves away from a sterile science-fiction vision. Its audiovisual layer draws on the character of the ’80s and ’90s – industrial spaces, analog electronics, physical control panels, and equipment designed above all to work.

The project’s art direction is led by Wojciech Pazdur, CEO and co-founder of The Farm 51, previously associated with People Can Fly and co-creator of Painkiller. In Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance he also serves as art director and composes the game’s music, inspired by the sounds of the ’80s and ’90s.

“Rescue Drone Simulator gives us the chance to collide very modern drone technology with the aesthetics and musical sensibility I grew up with in the ’80s and ’90s. We don’t want to make a retro game. We want to create a believable near future with an analog soul – something more physical, industrial, and human. That’s why, beyond art direction, I’m also composing the game’s music myself. I want the visuals, the sound, and the atmosphere to speak the same language.”

– Wojciech Pazdur, CEO of The Farm 51, Art Director of Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance

Disasters are the backdrop. People are the story.

The game’s story is written by Artur Fojcik, Game Director at The Farm 51, known for his work on Chernobylite and Get Even, a game nominated for the BAFTA Games Award.

The campaign begins with rescue operations, but subsequent disasters, climate anomalies, and infrastructure failures start to add up to a larger crisis. Alongside it, the story of the team and the title theme of a second chance unfolds.

“A disaster becomes more than a spectacle once the player understands who they’re trying to save and who’s helping them on the other end of the radio. We want the characters’ stories to emerge from what the player does during missions, not just serve as breaks between them. Second Chance is the shared theme of these characters – each of them has lost something important, and each is trying to find a new role for themselves.”

– Artur Fojcik, The Farm 51, Game Director of Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance

Technology can also give people back their abilities

“What matters most to us is the fantasy of being the person sent into the middle of a disaster – wherever someone has gone missing, a fire has broken out, or traditional rescuers can’t safely reach – and the awareness that the outcome of that operation depends on your decisions and skill.

Second Chance has another layer for me personally. We’re entering a world where AI, robotics, and automation will change many jobs people do today. We talk a lot about what possibilities technology might take away from us. I’m also interested in the opposite question: what can it give back?

In our story, technology doesn’t replace people. It lets them make use again of experience and skills that, for various reasons, seemed already lost. We want to combine spectacular disasters and the pressure of rescue operations with the satisfaction of mastering a drone and a very human story. That is the foundation of Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance.”

– Radosław Kalisz, CEO of Anraga Studios

Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance is set to debut in Q1 2027 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Anraga Studios plans a simultaneous release on all three platforms.

Key game features:

Four drones, four ways to save a life

Each drone in the player’s arsenal has a different role and offers a completely different way to play:

  • Rescue Drone – tracks the cell signals of missing civilians, drops medical kits, and marks targets from the air.
  • Firefighting Drone – puts out fires with a powder extinguisher operated from a safe distance or water balloons dropped from height, clearing the way for the rest of the team.
  • Police Drone – issues voice commands through a megaphone and uses smoke grenades and a taser, keeping situations under control without putting people at risk.
  • Interceptor Drone – intercepts and neutralizes hostile drones with a net launcher, securing the airspace above the operation zone.

Workshop and campaign

  • Full fleet customization in the workshop – motors, propellers, batteries, arms, wiring, and cooling systems have a real effect on the drone’s speed, thrust, flight time, and durability.
  • The story-driven campaign is divided into four acts, in which rescue operations inspired by real-life disasters and accidents gradually come together to form a thriller about people seeking a second chance through their work. Missions take place in a variety of locations – from forest trails and the coast, through the city center, to industrial districts – and changing weather, including winter, can completely alter the course of an otherwise familiar operation. The campaign takes about 10–15 hours to complete.
  • Two control modes, designed to appeal to experienced drone pilots and complete newcomers alike – Simulator faithfully replicates real drone control, with realistic stick mapping and unforgiving flight physics, while Arcade makes it easier to get started with flight assistance that forgives small mistakes. The game supports both controller and keyboard-and-mouse, offering first- and third-person views along with speed and wind indicators.

RETURN TO THE DEMON-INFESTED WORLD OF THE THREE KINGDOMS IN WO LONG 2: WINGS OF EMBER ON 4TH MARCH 2027!

0

Fans can have a taste of the challenges that await them in the Alpha Demo, playable until 30th September 2026!

Hertfordshire, 16th September 2026 – Today, KOEI TECMO Europe and developer Team NINJA are proud to announce that Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, the latest instalment in their dark Three Kingdoms action RPG series, will be released worldwide on 4th March 2027, on XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™2, XBOX on PC, Steam®, and with XBOX Game Pass. To celebrate the start of pre-orders, an epic trailer has been unveiled alongside new information about the story, the key characters, and gameplay systems that await players. Lastly, fans can already catch a glimpse of this upcoming journey with the limited-time Alpha Demo, available from today on XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation®5, XBOX on PC, and Steam®.

Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember takes players to China in 208 AD, after the events of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, when the village of the protagonist and their friend, Pang Tong, is devastated by Cao Cao’s forces as they march to invade Jing Province, plunging the land into war with demons roaming freely. Seeking revenge, the protagonist will clear the way for Liu Bei in his fight against Cao Cao’s forces, before joining Sun Quan in Jiangdong where they meet again with Pang Tong to devise a plan to repel Cao Cao as he sets his sights on the Red Cliffs.

These two fledging talents, endowed with intelligence and courage, will soar through the skies above the decisive battle, taking on demons on the battlefield with an enhanced combat system. Players will rediscover the fast-paced combat of Wo Long, which combines attack and defence with evolved actions exclusive to this sequel. Using Insight Skills, they will be able to evade enemy attacks and use the terrain to their advantage to launch counterattacks, or even shift the momentum when outnumbered, making the fights even more acrobatic, exhilarating, and deadly than ever before.

Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember will offer fans greater freedom through dynamic open fields that recreate iconic battles from the Three Kingdoms era, such as the Battle of Changban and the Battle of the Red Cliffs. Players will be able to freely explore these new environments – from fortresses carved into the mountains to strongholds hidden deep in the valleys-whilst overcoming overwhelming obstacles. More than ever before, players will need to raise their morale if they are to survive in this demon-infested world. Enemy officers can be recruited to their cause, thereby weakening opposing forces, and players will need to employ various strategies on the battlefield to turn the tide of battle.

Ahead of the planned release on 4th March 2027, players can anticipate the tough battles that await them by downloading the Alpha Demo, playable from today until 30th September 2026, on XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation®5, XBOX on PC, and Steam®*. This free demo provides an early look at the game, including an in-progress character creation system, and online multiplayer for up to three players. Fans can explore the open field of Changban, join forces with Liu Bei’s army in fierce battles against the pursuing forces of Cao Cao, and encounter demons inspired by legendary Chinese classics. Upon finishing the demo, players will receive the Fledgling Phoenix Helmet as a bonus to be used in the full game. A survey will also be conducted in order to help facilitate feedback upon completion.

In addition to the standard edition of Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, players can pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes the base game, Season Pass, and Season Pass Bonus: Creator God Armor Set. The Digital Deluxe Edition also comes with three exclusive bonuses: Digital Artbook, Digital Mini Soundtrack, and Shitieshou Hat.
