LOS ANGELES – DECEMBER 13, 2024 – Netmarble and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, an action-adventure RPG game set to launch in 2025. Last night, millions of gamers got their first look at the game, with a trailer premiering during The Game Awards. Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is currently in development for mobile, with other platforms to be determined.

Officially licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on behalf of HBO®, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad begins during season four of the Emmy® Award-winning and Golden Globe®-winning Game of Thrones series. In the game, players will experience a brand-new story as they take on the role of a new character, who, through a quirk of fate, becomes the heir to House Tyre, a small noble house in the North. In addition to customizing their character with a robust character creator, players will be able to select from one of three classes – Sellsword, Knight or Assassin – as they take their first steps into the world of Westeros.

Tasked with securing their legacy, players will also become embroiled in larger issues facing the world of Westeros, from political infighting to the looming threat from beyond the Wall. Each class must master unique combat styles in order to succeed in their tasks and advance. The Kingsroad is a difficult road to traverse, but rewards beyond measure await for those brave and strong enough to take this journey.

Free new title update for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess also released, delivering new content and updates

London (13 December, 2024) In celebration of the newly announced Okami™ sequel project revealed during The Game Awards 2024, Capcom have released a special bundle including Okami™ HD and nominee for Best Sim/Strategy Game at The Game Awards 2024; Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess™. The Okami+Kunitsu-Gami Bundle releases today on Steam, Windows, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, with PlayStation®5 and PlayStation®4 versions dropping in the next few days. Not only can players enjoy the unique Japanese-style art direction, and vibrant characters and worlds that these two titles bring, this bundle is also discounted for a limited time at launch.

Director Hideki Kamiya returns to the critically-acclaimed Ōkami universe to spin an all-new adventure tale

Today, at The Game Awards 2024, and to the surprise and delight of viewers from around the world, Capcom announced that this classic action-adventure series has a brand new title in the works.

Hideki Kamiya, director of the beloved original Ōkami, returns as director for this new Ōkami project, which is being co-developed among multiple studios that include various staff members of the original Ōkami, including M-TWO Inc., Machine Head Works Inc., and CLOVERS Inc., the last of which Hideki Kamiya is a member of.

Born 1970 in Matsumoto (Nagano prefecture), Japan. Director of Resident Evil 2 (1998), Devil May Cry, Viewtiful Joe, Ōkami, Bayonetta, The Wonderful 101.

As executive director, he was responsible for elements such as supervision, initial planning and the story of Bayonetta 2, Bayonetta 3, Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon and Sol Cresta.

How long has it been since the story was concluded with that? I didn’t think the day would really come, where I’d return to Ōkami and continue the story with my own hands. Even at this very moment, my body is filled with both a cautious surprise that this is not a dream, and a joy that cannot be described in words.

Everyone who has worked so hard to make this project a reality, the friends who believed in me and gathered at CLOVERS Inc., and most importantly, the voices of so many of you who have continued to support Ōkami even after such a long time: all of this has come together to create this miracle, for which I am deeply grateful.

Like a strong rising sun, this project is finally in motion. But it’s still a small bud that is blossoming. We are ready to fill this new Ōkami with many colorful flowers, and to do our best to fulfil the promise of “next time” in the best way.

New entry in the renowned franchise coming in 2025 invites you to experience life against the backdrop of fjords and Norse mythology

Oberhaching, Germany, December 13, 2024 – Polish Development team Digital Daredevils and German Publisher Toplitz Productions are excited to jointly announce Vikings Dynasty, slated for a release in late 2025.

The newest entry to the renowned and beloved franchise will test your survival, village building and resource management skills against the beautiful, yet imposing backdrop of fjords, steep cliffs, lush green forests and fertile farmland just waiting to be cultivated.

While exploring, ravaging and pillaging are commonly associated with Viking culture and their legendary status as warring wayfarers, their family values are almost second to none. After your ship crashes on a rugged coast, you’ll find yourself lost in a large archipelago. Fend for your life against the elements and nature itself with its ever-changing environment and build a new home for yourself as well as other survivors against a beautiful backdrop of fjords and forests. 

Prove yourself as a master village builder, when you take over the role of Jarl to plan and execute the expansion of your village and allocate the workforce or resources. Dive into an immersive open world with atmospheric landscapes and historically inspired settings, when you go on expeditions, hunt for prey or become a skilled fisher. Wield a hammer as skillful as an axe, when you set out to be a master craftsman or craftswoman, as you start building your own ship, before you set sail to discover uncharted territories, new resource-rich shores or a legendary treasure. Please the Gods to gain boons and discover the secret of your heritage, while you explore an archipelago spanning more than 30km².

With a variety of landscapes, dynamic weather, seasonal changes and the option to take your expeditions to the seas and explore even more areas, the open world of Vikings Dynasty is a dangerous beauty filled with secrets and sights to behold, offering an archipelago with multiple islands, fjords, underwater caves and other secrets.

Forge an eternal dynasty
Collect natural resources, craft the tools you need, go out on a hunt and start building your home. Hone your skills and get access to dozens of items to craft and trade, while you grow your village and your following. Start a family and produce a worthy heir to continue your legacy adhering to all aspects of viking life.

Ship Crafting And Exploration
Master the art of shipbuilding and construct a variety of vessels from fishing or cargo boats up to longships and the legendary drakkar. Take to the seas and sail to other islands, where you might find not only rare resources that will give you and your people an edge, but also other villagers eager to join your cause.

Be The Jarl
Establish a settlement and enhance it with a variety of buildings like workshops, smithy or carpenter, your fellow settlers follow your commands as a Jarl, the undisputed leader of the viking community and protector of your people. Assign them to jobs like farming, hunting or fishing to feed the villagers or let them gather resources so your village can grow and the communities’ needs are fulfilled. Your followers are your most valued asset, so take good care of them and don’t turn down their requests – unhappy settlers might try their luck elsewhere.

Please the Gods
The world of Vikings Dynasty is rich in lore and references to Norse mythology and their gods. Apply runes to your items and boost your equipment. Or make an offering to the Gods and be rewarded with their blessing for you and your people.

Create your Kingdom
With an intuitive building system as well as a deep crafting mechanic, customization and multi-layered decoration, the sky’s the only limit for your viking village. If you want to arrange it chaotically or in a clean manner is fully up to you. Utilize natural resources to your heart’s content, but be wary: If you exploit Mother Nature, she will not forget.

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, a New Franchise From Naughty Dog | PS5

Naughty Dog, the makers of critically acclaimed series The Last of Us and Uncharted, announce Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. 

Intergalactic stars our newest protagonist, Jordan A. Mun, a dangerous bounty hunter who ends up stranded on Sempiria – a distant planet whose communication with the outside universe went dark hundreds of years ago. In fact, anyone who’s flown to it hoping to unravel its mysterious past was never heard from again. Jordan will have to use all her skills and wits if she hopes to be the first person in over 600 years to leave its orbit.

Helldivers 2 Omens of Tyranny | PS5

At the end of the First Galactic War, the Helldivers worked together to eradicate the Illuminate. We believed we were successful, and for nearly 100 years, we have lived in relative peace, holding the Terminid and Automaton threats at bay. But now the Illuminate have emerged seemingly out of nowhere. Even though we don’t know the true origin of the invasion, we have no choice now but to suppress three factions in the Galactic War.

The Last of Us Part II Remastered | PC

Originally released for the PlayStation 5 console earlier this year, Part II Remastered allows players to continue the acclaimed story of The Last of Us with a definitive version featuring the award-winning campaign, new modes, improved quality, and more.

Releasing Friday 4 April 2025 (AUS time), Part II Remastered for PC, features the award-winning campaign focused on Ellie and Abby’s thrilling journeys, and brings with it all the new features the PS5 version introduced. The Last of Us Part II Remastered will be newly optimised and enhanced for PC, with the teams at Nixxes, Iron Galaxy and Naughty Dog working to ensure the game is a thrill for PC players from the jump. We’ll be delving further into the PC-specific features and specs as we get closer to launch.

Midnight Murder Club | PS5

Midnight Murder Club is a six-player shooter-in-the-dark set in a sprawling, pitch-black mansion, where the only light you ever see comes from a flashlight piercing the darkness or gunfire piercing your heart.

Turning your flashlight on lets you see which of the 30+ elaborately decorated rooms you’re currently in, but it also gives away your position to enemies who might be hiding close by. It’s the ultimate game of flashlight tag. To further spice things up, find vending machines that give you access to a variety of devilish toys. Take night vision pills to temporarily see in the dark, deploy an inflatable flashlight-holding mannequin to fool other players, tear through the shadows with a torrent of bullets from a machine gun, and more!

The crossplay demo is now available on PS5, and it’ll be live through 22 December. Midnight Murder Club releases Early Access in February 2025.
