Time flies in the Wasteland — Fallout Shelter turned 10 years old on June 14!
Originally launched as a surprise at E3 2015, the game expanded to mobile devices shortly thereafter and has since grown into a fan-favorite experience with more than 230 million installs around the world.
Over the past decade, players have built thriving vaults, fended off countless Radroach invasions and kept their Dwellers well-fed and entertained, all in the name of survival.
Most recently, in April 2024, the game received a major update featuring content inspired by the hit Fallout TV series, bringing new life to the Wasteland and welcoming a whole new wave of fans. This milestone is a testament to the community that’s kept the game alive and evolving for 10 years and counting.
