In this story expansion, Markus, Carrie, and Nowa brace themselves for an intriguing discovery. An anomaly dubbed “Menhir’s Distortion” has unlocked a mysterious teleportation gateway. Venturing forth as a trio, they prepare to delve into the enigmatic realm beyond. What hidden truths await them there? New challenges and rewards await in the Datavault!

Directly accessible through the Armory, today’s main addition comes in the form of the Datavault, a brand-new Battle-Barge chamber where Tech-Priests collect and store intel on the many enemies of the Imperium. By completing Ordeals, players will accumulate Research Data that they’ll be able to trade for Requisition Points and new cosmetics like pauldron markings, weapon skins (Thunder Hammer, Auto Bolt Rifle) and even new armor pieces (breastplate, gauntlet).

A new map comes to PvP while the Biovore invades Operations mode

With today’s update, Eternal War mode gets its first new PvP map since launch with the Necron-themed “Tomb” map.

Operations players, meanwhile, will need to keep an eye out for the new Tyranid Biovore, a devastating Majoris enemy able to deal damage both from afar and up close.

Season Pass brings the Raven Guard and Salamanders

In addition to these new challenges, Season Pass owners today receive the Raven Guard Cosmetic Pack and the Salamanders Champion Pack. Bristol,  United Kingdom — February 6, 2025 | Yogscast Games and Gamersky have united to bring card game connoisseurs a fantastic bundle of two new strategy titles. Launching today, Border Pioneer and Stray Path offer players two different – but equally challenging – approaches to card-based gameplay that see them play god or fight for their lives.

Border Pioneer 

Developed by indie studio Yahzj Games, Border Pioneer places the survival of a pixel-art colony in the player’s almost god-like hands. They must carefully balance the needs of the town with the ever-present threat of foes at the border, managing resources and maintaining the kingdom’s favour. Each month brings with it the question of whether to expend limited materials expanding the border, farming for resources or defending their peaceful hamlet.

The game combines beloved city-building and tower defence mechanics with powerful card-based gameplay reminiscent of classic board games like Catan. As players progress, they can choose from themed booster packs to unlock new buildings and units, purchase cards and materials from the travelling merchant, and even acquire spell cards that deal direct damage to enemies from the player’s hand. 

Stray Path

Leave the god-like overview behind and head straight to the front line of combat in Stray Path, a roguelike deckbuilder created by chx games. Selecting one of a variety of characters, from a well-travelled cat to a burly beast tamer, is only one of many choices players will have to make as they venture deeper into the foreboding forest. 

Far from a simple exchange of cards, Stray Path gives players the option to escape deadly encounters if they have their wits about them. Using the game’s FreeCell mechanics, players can strategically move cards around the board to uncover secret chests, hidden items, or, perhaps most importantly, an escape route. But they’ll need to choose wisely if they want to make it out alive.
