You’re in the Driver’s Seat with new and returning Mechanics
Aetherdrift racers are encouraged to utilise all tools at their disposal to achieve glory. Soup up your ride and chances at victory with the brand new Max Speed mechanic! When a card instructs the player to “Start Your Engines” the player will begin tracking their speed level. On each of that player’s turns, when an opponent loses life, they gain one level of speed until reaching ‘Max Speed’. Various cards will interact with the player’s speed level, generally ramping in power as speed increases.
Generating speed leads to high-octane gameplay moments, but sometimes a once-off quick effect is needed to put a spanner in the opponent’s plans! Exhaust is a new mechanic in Aetherdrift and represents a one-shot effect that can only be activated once each game. Kick into high gear at a precise moment to chase down an opponent or solidify your lead in the race!
Not many racers can claim victory without a valiant Mount or sturdy Vehicle, so both are key returning mechanics in Aetherdrift. Racers will select between various high-tech or rudimentary vehicles and many-legged or no-legged mounts, all in the hope of achieving glory. What style of racer will you be when you take to the track?

Go fast, but look good doing it with Aetherdrift’s lineup of new card treatments and collectible cards that will have the crowds of the multiverse cheering for more.

It quickly becomes apparent that there is a shortage of Chernobylite in Cole’s universe, and the solution is the morally questionable initiative that involves traveling to parallel worlds in search of the mineral and obtaining it by any means possible. In addition, the Planewalker service requires appropriate genetic modifications. Cole must, therefore, physically absorb the essence of Chernobylite and, to increase his physical and intellectual capabilities, lose a part of his humanity. However, seeing no other options for himself, he agrees to the bloody and dangerous service, which results in him ending up trapped in the most sinister place in the world: the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone. There, he meets a Black Stalker, the Zone’s dark guide and silent ruler.
Today, we’re revealing a brand new story trailer that introduces the plot of Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone.
Thanks to this, we can now focus on developing the alternative first-person combat mode, allowing you to play the game in any style you choose. Whether you’re a fan of classic third-person RPGs or modern first-person adventures, you should be comfortable experiencing Chernobylite 2 in a way that is more natural to you.
Chernobylite 2 has just reached the 170% level of funding on the Kickstarter and there’s still a week to back the project in the campaign that achieved another stretch goal. Thanks to this, the game will receive extra locations for playing coop and solo missions.
Soon, all Kickstarter backers will get access to the demo and Beta version of the game so you can expect the first game previews soon!
Chernobylite 2 will be released on Steam in Early Access on March 6th, similar to the first part in 2019, which was awarded the Top Early Access Platinum Graduate on Steam.

Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone is a post-apo action RPG, mixing free exploration of a huge and extremely realistic open world, challenging combat, unique crafting, and team and base management with non-linear storytelling. The main character tries to escape the sinister Exclusion Zone and return home, breaking the barriers of time and space and fighting the emanations of the insidious Chernobylite.
The story told in the game will make you fight to survive in the most dangerous place on Earth. The combat system of Chernobylite 2 is a massive expansion of its predecessor. The introduction of advanced melee weapons fight and crafting system gives more diversity to the character build, strategies, and tactics you can create independently. PLANEWALKING
