If you are sitting in your computer chair, browsing the internet in boredom, you may now stop the nothing that you are doing and head on over to Facebook. Why, you may ask? Because PopCap have just launched Solitaire Blitz!

Think of the classic game of solitaire, add in intense one minute rounds, a mermaid, a seven-armed octopus, and a seahorse named Gene, and you have the loot-snagging madness that is Solitaire Blitz. Yes, it may sound odd for a Facebook game based on that classic card-matching formula, but as usual, this free romp is just as addictive as all of PopCap’s other casual titles and is sure to help you in passing all of that spare time. Go get on over to the official page for the game and check it out now.

Namco Bandai’s ‘X’ adventure game may be a PlayStation exclusive

The ongoing saga of the slowly updating Namco Bandai teaser website has entered its next phase. This time around the teaser website is showing us some familiar controller logos for the “action adventure” game that is coming out.

Of course there are plenty of PlayStation platforms for this game to be released, though one would hope that the title is going to be for the brand new PlayStation Vita or at least the PlayStation 3, whatever that title may be of course. A Hunter x Hunter on the PlayStation Vita would certainly be a nice way to revitalize the handheld’s slumping sales in Japan.

Get a golden Reggie Mii on your Nintendo 3DS today on its anniversary

There isn’t too much time left in the day but Nintendo 3DS owners in North America can turn on their Nintendo 3DSs and leave them to collect a brand new spot pass. This spot pass brings with it a special Mii, one that features some nice golden pants who loves playing Kid Icarus: Uprising.

The Mii I’m speaking about of course is Reggie Fils-Aime’s own personal Mii. Reggie’s Mii can be used in all of the little mini-games as he contains puzzle pieces for Puzzle Swap and is a level 5 hero in Find Mii. Meaning of course that he may help you finally beat the end-game boss.

Saint Seiya Omega Theme Song Details

Saint Seiniacs prepare yourself for this news that will undoubtedly get your cosmos burning. It has been confirmed in Weekly Shonen Champion, that Saint Seiya Omega’s opening theme song will be a remade version of the original epic theme song of the first Saint Seiya series ‘Pegasus Fantasy’.

No artist has been confirmed as of yet to be handling the new version of ‘Pegasus Fantasy’, but if the slew of trailers that have been coming out which feature an instrumental version of the theme, we can rest assured that it will be damn good.

Saint Seiya Omega premieres in next week on the 1st of April, 2012. What do you think of this news regarding the opening theme? Let us know in the comments section below.

New Trailer for Madagascar 3

Paramount Pictures have just released the full official Australian trailer for Madagascar 3 – Europe’s Most Wanted. That’s right folks, there’s a third outing on the way for Dreamworks’ bizarre quartet. Still trying to make their way back to New York, Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo, and Melman the Giraffe are as usual accompanied by the thunder stealing King Julien and the almighty Penguins. The four less than intrepid travelers find themselves more than a little off course on their journey home, and quickly find themselves aboard a circus train packed full of slightly unhinged animals. The trailer is surprisingly amusing and has a few nice beats of absurd humor that should tickle the slightly older funny bones in the audience too.

Madagascar 3 – Europe’s Most Wanted hits Australian cinemas on 13 September.

Namco Bandai’s ‘X’ teaser could be a Hunter x Hunter adventure game

Yesterday we discovered that Namco Bandai had launched a new teaser website that featured practically zero information besides a flashing X in the middle of the website. Today that teaser website has been updated with golden text that can be seen above and is translated as “??? x Action Adventure.”

Now this doesn’t give us too much extra information though a certain game that prominently features an X and would also benefit from an action adventure genre would be the newly redone Hunter x Hunter anime series. Obviously nothing is confirmed at this point as Namco Bandai loves to tease things, so stay tuned for more updates as time goes by.

Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken landing on the Vita in 2012

Developer of Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken, Ratloop, have chosen a strange way to announce that they will be bringing the PSN action game from the PlayStation 3 to the PlayStation Vita. As in, they didn’t announce it at all really. The only thing that the company chose to do was upload a simple video to YouTube which can be seen below.

The video is also very scarce on details about the game other than the fact the Vita version of the game will be released sometime this holiday season. Besides that they are mostly flaunting all the praise the original version received set alongside gameplay which is likely from the PS3 version…
