Staff are reminded that Section 13, formerly known as Blackout Protocol, is a roguelite shooter now packed to the brim with action, interdimensional terrors and plenty of young graduates ready to risk it all for the chance of a promotion. And, to HR’s great delight, there are no unions in sight to stop this new Section 13 update from rolling out!

Teamwork makes the dream work, and with the relaunch of co-op mode, our players can now sacrifice three employees in one round for maximum efficiency. And for those who cannot stand their coworkers, single player mode will still be available with the ever-improving story – thoroughly vetted by the S2P’s legal team (legal approval pending). 

The company facilities also received an overhaul. We remind staff that a few cosmic horrors are still in the building, and to ignore any rumours that they have spread to the shining new Laboratory, the Quarantine Chamber or the experimental procedural generation level for the overachievers who enjoy neverending suffering. Armored Core: Project Phantasma | PS4, PS5

Released the same year in Japan (and in 1998 in North America) on the original PlayStation, Armored Core: Project Phantasma is FromSoftware’s second entry in the mech action and customisation series. When tasked with infiltrating the subterranean urban complex, Amber Crown, the player encounters another Raven by the name of Sumika Juutilainen. Her mission is to take down the enigmatic Doomsday Organisation and she enlists the player’s help as the two push further into the complex.

Armored Core: Master of Arena | PS4, PS5

The third entry in the series, Armored Core: Master of Arena, hit the original PlayStation two years later in 1999. With the help of Operator Lana Neilson, the player becomes a Raven and carries out a variety of missions as they seek revenge for the loss of their family at the hands of Hustler One – the top-ranked Raven and pilot of the infamous Nine-Ball AC. Players will also encounter the Arena, where their skills are put to the test against numerous AC pilots.

NEW YORK — 12 March, 2025 — M10, a next-generation video game developer and publisher creating fresh competitive multiplayer games, reveals a major investment milestone of $3 million in its quest to go beyond the free-to-play (F2P) model. Investors in the seed round include the Sui Foundation, GSR, Big Brain Holdings, Monoceros, Blockchain Founders Fund and Presto Labs, among others.

M10 was founded by a group of game industry veterans including Co-Founder and CEO Maitham Mohamed (Forbes 30 Under 30, Semi-Pro FIFA player), Co-Founder and President Lars Buttler (Co-Founder of Trion Worlds), and Co-Founder and CCO Martin Capel (Game Director at Ubisoft on Assassin’s Creed).

Together, they assembled a top-notch development team for the studio’s unannounced debut title that boasts from industry veterans who lent their talent to various AAA titles, including Assassin’s Creed, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, Watch Dogs, Red Dead Redemption 2, Star Wars Outlaws, and GTA V, among countless others.

A strategic partnership alongside the Sui Foundation will enable M10 to create a new gaming business model that goes beyond F2P. The goal is to solve the core problems in F2P, namely hyper-aggressive monetization. By using the new model to end the market stagnation in PC and Console F2P gaming, M10 aims to scale the market significantly further with a new era of games. They are packaging this all in what is a fresh take on the competitive multiplayer shooter, and creating a true F2P model that is accessible to all.
