The full collector’s edition can be seen above and will cost 12,800 yen.

The collector’s edition itself will include the game, a 3DS cover, a giant augmented reality poster, the soundtrack of the game as well as an artbook. Currently it is unknown when Bravely Default will be released in North America as Square Enix has not revealed any plans of a localization as of yet.

Persona 4 Arena spoilers will be cursed

It’s not everyday you hear about a fighting game with an actual story mode which may be just as intriguing as an RPG’s story and it seems that Atlus wants to try and keep this story a mystery until you purchase the game and play through it yourself.

Andriasang reports that the Persona 4 Arena official website has been updated with a warning asking for players to not post videos, tweets or video feeds that spoil the game’s storyline. Anyone who doesn’t listen to them will be cursed with multiple curses and you wouldn’t like that at all. Plus no one likes a spoiler anyways, so it would be more than just Atlus cursing you in the end…

Kojima unveiling the Fox Engine at the MGS 25th anniversary event

During an interview with the PlayStation Blog, Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has revealed that he will be showing off his brand new Fox Engine to the public during the Metal Gear Solid 25th Anniversary event that will be held in Tokyo Japan on August 30th.

He also happened to mention that Metal Gear Rising Revengance was originally going to use the Fox Engine, but since Platinum Games is now handling the title it is using the Platinum Engine instead which was used to create titles such as Bayonetta and Vanquish. What do you believe the first game to use the Fox Engine could possibly be?

Black Rock Shooter will be completed soon according to Imageepoch

Imageepoch is a very busy little developer over in Japan, what with the company working on games such as Toki to Towa, Sol Trigger and others. What is a bit worrying however is the fact that one title announced for release in North America by NIS America hasn’t seen any news since the localization announcement.

Well Siliconera has pointed out that CEO Ryoei Mikage responded to a fan on Twitter about whether or not an English version of the game is still going to be made. He responded stating “We are developing BRS now. BRS will be completed soon.” By BRS he means Black Rock Shooter and considering the title was released in Japan back in August 2011, it is certainly good to hear that the English version may be finished some point soon.

3DS Digital Download Cards will be slightly cheaper than retail

When Nintendo revealed that they would be releasing their games both physically and digitally in the future, starting with New Super Mario Bros. 2 and Demon Training, they also revealed that they would be selling digital download cards for gamers to purchase at various retail stores. Well the first store in Japan has begun selling these cards and it just happens to be a 7-Eleven. Strange.

Either way, Nintendo World Report has found that these digital download cards are slightly discounted compared to the price of the retail version, with the retail version costing 3,800 yen while the digital card is only 3,580. Whether these slightly discounted prices will remain the same when the cards are released in North America is yet to be seen, though it does seem like a nice incentive for digital purchasers.

Silent Hill: Downpour developer Vatra Games could be closed down

An all too familiar turn of events over the last few years, developer of the recently released Silent Hill: Downpour, Vatra Games, appears to be on the chopping block as their parent company has placed the developer under “strategic review.”

In a statement to Eurogamer, Vatra’s parent company Kuju stated that “The new management team at Kuju have been conducting a strategic review of all aspects of the business. As part of this process, the on-going business activities of the Vatra studio are currently under review. However, at this stage, no decisions have yet been made.”

Unfortunately this isn’t good news for the company, which is a damn shame considering how good Silent Hill: Downpour actually was in keeping with the feel of a classic Silent Hill title while successfully translating that experience to current-gen consoles.

Jet Set Radio coming to iOS

SEGA’s Dreamcast classic – Jet Set Radio was announced back in April that it will be coming soon on the PC, Playstation 3, Playstation Vita and Xbox 360. But wait there is still more! SEGA has also announced that the game will be coming to the iOS platform.  The iOS version will support leaderboards via OpenFeint, and hopefully Apple’s Game Centre, it will also be designed to support Apple’s Retina display.  The game will have a feature that allows you to use photos taken with the device as in game graffiti.

No release date has been given for the iOS version, but the PC, Playstation 3, Playstation Vita, and Xbox 360 versions will be released sometime this summer. For now I’ll stick to my Dreamcast version, but which version will you be playing when JSR skates back into the scene ?

Wheatly’s Fate Becomes a Reality

Well it looks like Aperture is going somewhere no one has ever gone before, SPAAACCEEE! Or at least in a way they are. It was shown yesterday that an anonymous technician at NASA decided to etch Portal 2’s iconic British sounding villain Wheatly into space! The Valve blog gave this response:

“When we mentioned an ‘anonymous tech at NASA’ we weren’t kidding: NASA in no way officially endorses secretly laser-engraving characters from Portal onto their spacecraft.”

This wonderful easter egg will be launched on a resupply craft heading to the International Space Station on Friday at 10:06 EST. This comes as a surprise, not because the technician decided to do this but because he decided to use Wheatly. They should have used Personality Core 1 because he was the “space” core out of the bunch. All in all, everyone be on the lookout on Friday for the resupply craft and have fun with portals!

Assassin’s Creed III: DLC Season Pass Coming Up

Ubisoft today announced that they will have a season pass for Assassin’s Creed III and that the game will be following the trend of getting a season pass for all of the future DLC that will be later announced for the game. This came as no surprise due to all of the rumors and photos of the season pass being up for pre-order on the Playstation Network and how Ubisoft also sent out a little scroll press releases to Gamestop’s across the country to help them get ready to start allowing pre-orders on the season pass.

During the official announcement made by Ubisoft today regarding the season pass, they also said that they have a whole developer team dedicated to the DLC for Assassin’s Creed III post release. This just means that we can expect loads of post content for the game!
