Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe today announced PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY the remaster of the critically-acclaimed PSP titles will be making its way to PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC on 11^th July 2025. PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY compiles the first two entries in the PATAPON series, which debuted on Sony’s PlayStation Portable (PSP) in 2007 and 2008, respectively.

Having lived in the desolate frontier for years, the Patapon tribe was driven from their home by the Zigoton army. This drove them to become fierce warrior spirits that can only be commanded by the beat of the war drum, played by the Mighty One (the player). Their wait has finally come to an end as the drums of war are heard once again by the Mighty One return to guide the Patapon tribe through their adventures to fight against challenging enemies and return them to their homeland.

PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY is a 2D-platform game which offers a unique blend of rhythm-based action and real-time strategy, where players must overcome their enemies and return the Patapon to Earthend. Patapons are guided in their adventures by the rhythm of four “legendary drums” and have different classes and roles that players can mix to lead the charge to victory, such as the “Hatapon”, leading the charge, “Kibapon”, a horse-riding warrior, or “Yumipon”, that shoots its bows from afar. Patapons can also be enhanced by combining items collected from rare materials through stages and missions. With over 400 types of weapons and equipment, players can build their personalized Patapon unit and tackle diverse stages and formidable enemies.

Players will find the game easy to jump into with its intuitive and rhythm-based controls and will ultimately need to hone their skills to for precise timing and tactical thinking to maintain the rhythm to truly master the Patapon tribe. The game keeps the original’s fun and DNA with new updates that are making it even more accessible and enjoyable! This package introduces new support features like three difficulty settings (Normal, Easy, Hard), timing adjustment, and constant command display.

PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY will be released on 11^th July 2025 on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC.

More names to be revealed in the leadup to the May event

BOSTON – March 27, 2025 – PAX East 2025 organizers ReedPop and Penny Arcade today unveil the first round exhibitor list with more than 280 talented developers, publishers, and other companies within the gaming industry set to participate in the East Coast’s most-attended gaming event. More names will be revealed in the coming weeks for the event taking place Thursday, May 8, through Sunday, May 11, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.

Also revealed today, a new trailer spotlights never-before-seen gameplay including the first glimpse of a powerful mode players unlock as they progress through the game, where they take on the form of a massive robotic mech called GAIA. GAIA inflicts devastating damage to enemies and levels the playing field for battles with some of the game’s most epically huge bosses. GAIA is the latest reveal of multiple modes of play along with the quick and agile Swordsman No.8 melee combat and Mini PUCK mode that lets players ride rails and explore small areas in classic PAC-MAN fashion.

As a departure from any previous PAC-MAN game, SHADOW LABYRINTH puts players in the role of another character as protagonist, a warrior named Swordsman No. 8, but with the mysterious yet familiar yellow companion PUCK at their side. PUCK’s role is that of guide and guardian, teaching players that their aim in this treacherous world is to escape it, and to achieve that they must consume everything that waits in the darkness to survive and grow more powerful.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Fallen Banners dungeon pack and free Update 45 base-game patch is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 consoles. Starting today, console players can venture into two new four-player dungeons, Exiled Redoubt and Lep Seclusa, following the launch for PC/Mac on March 11.

The Fallen Banners introduces two new PvE dungeons that feature their own personalised storylines, characters, challenges, unique boss battles, and secrets. Players will earn unique rewards, including item sets, collectibles, and Achievements as they battle their way through the new content with up to three other players (four total).

To access the Fallen Banners dungeon content, players are required to have an ESO Plus membership. However, later this year, additional ways to access this content will be made available—find out more during the 2025 ESO Direct on April 11 at 5AM AEST. All the details on both the Exiled Redoubt and Lep Seclusa can be found on the ESO official website.

Accompanying Fallen Banners is Update 45, a free base-game patch, providing all ESO players with a series of fixes, additions, and improvements to the game’s core experience. As part of this patch, several starter zones have received visual updates to better match the high level of detail seen throughout the rest of ESO.

Additionally, this base-game patch brings various quality-of-life improvements, including faster starting mount speeds, reworked Craft Champion stars that don’t need slotting, and better visibility for Mundus Stone boons, with more updates expected throughout the year. Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe announces today that the iconic 90’s pocket companions are back in a new videogame with Tamagotchi Plaza,coming on 27 June 2025 for Nintendo Switch.

The latest entry into the Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop series will bring back the unique feel of setting up quirky shops in the Tamagotchi world and serving cute characters with even more fun possibilities! The Great Gotchi King declared the Tamagotchi Fest will be held in the most exciting city of Tamagotchi Planet. It will be up to the player to help Prince Tamahiko turn Tamahiko town into a lively place fit to welcome the festival.

Enjoy a total of 12 different shops around the town’s plaza, from returned classics found in the Corner Shop series like the Dentist, to new establishments like the Afternoon Tea Shop, the Eyewear or Galette shop. Each shop will bring its own mini game with unique gameplay and serving clients well will increase the reputation of shops, attracting more than 100 Tamagotchi customers to meet!

Some shops will allow players to share a controller for offline two players co-op mini games to play with a friend. The team is working on a new first-person sci-fi adventure coming soon

Toronto, Canada – March 27, 2025 – Soft Rains is a newly announced independent game studio founded by industry veterans from AAA and indie studios, including Bethesda Game Studios, Ubisoft Toronto, Capybara Games, Riot, and more. The team is currently developing an unannounced sci-fi first-person adventure title that brings a modern twist to the genre.

Soft Rains is co-founded by studio head Joel Burgess, game director Matt Scott, technical director Jules Glegg, narrative director Kaitlin Tremblay, and world director Daryl Brigner, a group whose past work spans major titles like Skyrim, Fallout 4, and VALORANT, to acclaimed indie games like A Mortician’s Tale and Grindstone. The studio brings together world-class development experience, from worldbuilding and memorable storytelling to immersive gameplay and art.

• Event Boss Battle Returns – Demonic Beast Crockshell: Event currency acquired through the Event Boss Battle can be traded for Outfit, Cosmetic Item and Weapon for Galland of Truth.
• Wild Blossoms Academy: The in-game map will be converted into a school campus to celebrate the new semester. NPCs will wear school uniforms and share intriguing stories. Those who take a screenshot with the NPCs and post on personal social media will be given an opportunity to win 20 Diamonds.

A new update for Demonic Beast Battles have been added as well. Through the Ratatoskr Demonic Beast Battle, a new relic for [The Seven Deadly Sins] Transcendent Ban can be generated. In addition, a 4th Floor Transcendent Demonic Beast for Eikthyrnir has been added where players can acquire currencies for Holy Relic enhancement materials. Players can also participate in a Demonic Beast Battle Boosting event that lowers the Stamina upon entry. Rewards will be offered on the 3rd Floors (excluding Ratatoskr) and increased drop rate for Demonic Beast artifacts as well.
