Hell is Us – Gameplay

As Remi we begin our search for clues to our missing parents within the civil war embroiled land of Hadea, cut off from the rest of the world, only o find that strange monsters and even stranger anomalies have started appearing even while the darkest evils turn out to be what we find of humanity in Nacon and Rogue Factor’s Hell is Us.

Hell is Us – Gameplay

In Hell is Us, you step into the boots of Rémi, a former UN peacekeeper returning to his war‑torn homeland of Hadea to uncover the fate of his parents. As he ventures deeper into the devastated landscape, he encounters supernatural creatures known as Hollow Walkers—monstrous beings impervious to modern weapons. Armed with only ancient melee tools like swords, axes, and a trusty drone companion, Rémi must master deliberate, stamina‑based combat while piecing together clues in a haunting semi‑open world that offers no maps, waypoints, or quest markers. Your instincts—and what you observe—are your only guide.

Developed by Rogue Factor and published by Nacon, Hell is Us emphasizes atmospheric exploration and immersive storytelling inspired by classic adventure games. Released on September 4, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows, the game challenges players to navigate without modern HUD aids, fostering experimental and thoughtful gameplay. With cinematic visuals powered by Unreal Engine 5 and early access available via Deluxe Edition, this title promises a deeply psychological and enthralling journey through chaos and memory.
