SEATTLE — Oct. 15, 2026 — DESOLUS, a first-person puzzle game that uses portals to traverse past and future realities from Mark J. Mayers (Outer Wilds, Manifold Garden) and The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild, welcomes harbingers of the city’s salvation today on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Xbox and Steam.

Enter the city of Desolus through its elegant Gothic-style gates and walkways as it stands at the center of an impending time-ending calamity. Pass through the ethereal Mirrored Garden, opening each gate with light-powered locks from both the present and the past while navigating rifts in time and space. Open the path forward by tracking the potential locations and orientations of critical structures. Sharpen spatial reasoning skills in each of the seven progressively more difficult regions.

“Drive, Survive, Solve” – 3DClouds unveils AfterZero: The Last Drive for PC and Consoles

The independent studio behind Formula Legends unveils chilling new survival and driving exploration game, set to launch in 2027

15th September (MILAN, Italy): Celebrated independent studio 3DClouds is delighted to announce an all-new original driving survival game coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S next year, introducing AfterZero: The Last Drive.

AfterZero: The Last Drive is a story-driven single-player experience which takes place in a post-industrial wasteland that has been suddenly plunged into a seemingly endless winter. Players are tasked with venturing out into this hostile world with only their upgradable off-road vehicle to help them as they scavenge for resources, upgrade vehicle tools and abilities (grappling hook, EMP and more), provide refuge and assist fellow survivors and ultimately flee to safety.

The announcement trailer for this chilling new open-world debuted during the Galaxies Showcase early today and can be viewed here:

“AfterZero: The Last Drive’s oppressive atmosphere and somewhat unforgiving campaign is a big departure for us at 3DClouds,” explained 3DClouds CEO, Francesco Bruschi, whose studio previously released acclaimed hits Formula Legends, Xenon Racer and more.

“However AfterZero’s gameplay mix of exploration, puzzle solving, upgradeable car and base elements and frozen peril creates an experience which we feel is unlike anything else out there in the gaming world,” he added.

For a more detailed rundown of AfterZero: The Last Drive’s key features, please see the summary below:

  • TAME THE FROZEN WASTELAND
The world is gone. The Frostfall left humanity scattered, buried beneath ice and snow. Behind the wheel of your fully upgradeable off road vehicle ‘Old Grizzly’, accompanied only by your small drone ‘T3DDY’, and the voices of your fellow survivors crackling through the radio, you venture out into the frozen wasteland. Your only chance may be Sunnyland, a mysterious refuge where the cold is said to be less severe. Scavenge items, repair the area’s old locomotive and make your way to salvation.
  • UPGRADE YOUR VEHICLE
Out in the open world, everything you need is buried somewhere beneath the ice. Take your vehicle into abandoned cities, frozen lakes, and mountain forests and scavenge what you can to improve your base and craft new tools like grappling hooks, ice tires, nitrogen guns – and push further into the unknown. But the cold doesn’t wait. Night falls. Storms emerge. Supplies run low. How far will you go before turning back
  • PROVIDE REFUGE TO SURVIVORS
Back at the Firewall, a safe haven from the harsh weather and threats of the wasteland, the survivors need food, medicine, and heat, while the train needs to be repaired. Work with Pops, Nova, and Sak to keep the camp alive, improve your gear, and prepare for the next expedition. Everyone is waiting for you to come back.
  • ESCAPE WITH THE TRUTH
Everything around you is frozen but maybe the rest of the world isn’t? An old AI controls machines scattered across the wasteland. Hack them, disable them and exploit their glitches. Who or what is controlling this AI? How can you escape?

AfterZero: The Last Drive is currently listed on Steam, Xbox, Sony, Epic Games Store and GoG and can be wishlisted now.

A Bird Story from the Creator of To the Moon Series is Now Available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and XBOX

Boulder, Colo. (Oct. 15, 2026) – Today publisher Serenity Forge (To the Moon, LISA, Fractured Blooms) and developer Freebird Games launched A Bird Story on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and XBOX for $3.99, with free Steam updates. Created by Kan Gao, the creator behind the To the Moon series, A Bird Story is an hour, wordless interactive pixel animation about a young boy and an injured bird. The launch is accompanied by a new trailer:

In A Bird Story, a young boy comes across a bird being attacked by a badger and steps in to rescue it. He soon discovers that the bird has injured its wing and brings it home to care for it. As they spend their days together while the bird recovers, a quiet friendship begins to take shape, bringing warmth gradually reshaping the boy’s otherwise solitary world. Shifting between small everyday moments and dreamlike scenes, A Bird Story follows their time together in a story of companionship that leaves a lasting impression.

Unlike Freebird Games’ other narrative titles, A Bird Story tells its story without text or dialogue. Instead, its narrative moves forward through visual storytelling alone with interactive pixel animation conveying its details and emotions in every scene. As the boy and bird’s journey moves between reality and imagination, Kan Gao’s original soundtrack sits alongside the visuals to guide the emotional tone of each scene. Together, the animation and music give A Bird Story its quiet, personal atmosphere while leaving room for players to experience the story in their own way.

About Freebird Games

Dead Party unleashes 4-player zombie chaos on Steam and Epic Games Store October 29th

Grab your friends, turn up the volume, and fight back the undead in the expanded Steam Next Fest demo

LOS ANGELES — October 15, 2026 — The zombie apocalypse just got a whole lot louder, as Radiation Blue and Snail Games USA are launching their 4-player neighborhood defense game Dead Party just in time for Halloween on October 29th on Steam and Epic Games Store. Console versions will follow in the weeks to come. A follow-up to the zombie barricading and rock-and-roll romp Dead Block, Dead Party builds on its predecessor’s music-fueled mayhem with chaotic co-op action, base defense, improvised traps, and rock-powered zombie destruction.

You can celebrate spooky season now though with a new expanded demo just ahead of Steam Next Fest. This latest demo unlocks the never before seen Museum stage, upon completing the other stages in story mode.

Set in the once-peaceful town of Shady Hill, Dead Party begins when UFOs appear overhead on Halloween. Soon, the neighborhood’s dead rise from their graves, leaving four unlikely heroes to defend humanity from an invasion that is as bizarre as it is relentless.

Dead Party is designed around four-player co-op, putting players together to defend buildings against waves of increasingly dangerous undead.

Rather than simply mowing down zombies, players must scavenge their surroundings, break objects for resources, build barricades, deploy traps, and adapt their defenses as the horde closes in. Different zombie types and map layouts force teams to rethink their strategy and make the most of whatever they can find.

And when things get desperate, there’s one weapon the undead can’t handle: Rock music. Players can harness the power of their guitars and music-based abilities to push back the zombie hordes, adding an unconventional twist to the game’s frantic combat.

Across Dead Party‘s game modes, teams can experiment with different approaches to surviving the invasion.

The game features four distinct modes, including:

  • Stage Equipment – Use stage equipment and the power of music to defend against the undead.
  • Antenna – Power generators and unleash jamming radio waves against the invading forces.
  • Skull Cannon – Collect zombie skulls and use them to take down UFOs.
  • Horde – Forget the escape plan. See how long your team can survive before the zombies overwhelm you.

Players can also follow the adventures of four unique characters through Story Mode, each bringing their own abilities, strengths, weaknesses, equipment, and character storylines to the fight.

With support for online and local co-op, Dead Party is built to turn zombie survival into a chaotic group experience whether players are coordinating a carefully planned defense or watching everything fall apart spectacularly.

Players can enter the stage during the event period and earn rewards while experiencing another battle inspired by Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

During the ongoing collaboration, Tanjiro Kamado and Zenitsu Agatsuma, who joined the game in the first update, continue to be available. Tanjiro Kamado is offered on the first day of the check-in event, making it easier for players to add him to their lineup. The collaboration also includes the Legendary Pet Nezuko Kamado, which can be earned by playing the game.

The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba collaboration will continue through October 29, offering players more time to collect collaboration heroes, challenge event content, and receive special rewards.
