From the Visionary Minds of Kazutaka Kodaka and Kotaro Uchikoshi, a twisted new story combines adventure gameplay and deep tactical-RPG battles to deliver an unforgettable experience

TOKYO — April 24, 2025 — Aniplex Inc., a leading global entertainment company, today announced the release of The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- for Windows PC via Steam globally and the Nintendo Switch™ system digitally in Europe. The first original IP from developer Too Kyo Games and the visionary minds of Kazutaka Kodaka (Danganronpa) and Kotaro Uchikoshi (Zero Escape series), The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- presents a chilling, tense storyline leading players to 100 despair-filled endings.

Takumi Sumino is a totally average teenager living in the Tokyo Residential Complex, a place where every day is much like the last and nothing bad ever happens. All that changes when freakish monsters attack the town and start wreaking havoc. A strange creature calling itself Sirei appears and offers Takumi the power to protect those he holds dear… All he has to do is stab himself in the chest!

The next thing he knows, Takumi is in Last Defense Academy, a colossal school in the middle of nowhere surrounded by a wall of otherworldly flames. He and 14 other students have been drafted into the Special Defense Unit, a team tasked with keeping the school safe for the next 100 days. Initiated students transform their blood into the mysterious Hemoanima, a unique type of mutated blood which provides supernatural abilities. How much are they willing to sacrifice to take back their normal lives and save the world from the grotesque school invaders? The curtain rises on 100 days of war and despair…

As Takumi, players will spend their days at Last Defense Academy getting to know his classmates and exploring the school grounds during the narrative visual-novel portion of the game, whilst defending the school from attacking monsters in grid-based tactical-RPG battles alongside his classmates. Players will experience a diverse, branching narrative where their decisions can drastically alter Takumi’s story and outcomes during his 100 days at the school. Tactical battles will test players’ strategic abilities, challenging players to effectively use smart positioning to gain an advantage and, when all hope is lost in the face of overwhelming odds, know when to sacrifice classmates to unleash powerful final attacks to level the playing field.

PRECISION FARMING 3.0: FREE PACK FOR FARMING SIMULATOR 25 ADDS REALISM IN MAY

Farming Simulator 25 gets a substantial boost in realism with new features and in-depth gameplay mechanics. With Precision Farming 3.0, the continuation of an initially EU-financed project to promote sustainable farming technology, publisher and developer GIANTS Software adds features and machines.

Tramlines & Subsidies

Tramlines help farmers guide machinery along predetermined tracks on the ground for more precise field management and crop growth. When planting catch crops like oilseed radish, Precision Farming 3.0 rewards virtual farmers with subsidies to make nitrogen-saving planting more attractive than conventional fertilizing – just like in real farming.

Pulse Width Modulation & Section Control

With environmental impact in mind, Precision Farming 3.0 now offers more advanced machine-level features. Farmers can fine-tune sprayer settings using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), which adjusts fertilizer output for smoother application, greater efficiency, and reduced environmental impact.

PWM sends rapid bursts of fluid through nozzles instead of a continuous stream. Each nozzle works independently, allowing variable rate control of flow across the sprayer’s width based on driving speed and turns. This ensures that fertilizer is distributed evenly and efficiently. In addition, Automatic Section Control activates or deactivates individual implement sections at set field locations, ensuring fertilizer or crop protection is applied only where needed.

More Machines & Retro-Fit Sensors

Six machines are featured in Precision Farming 3.0. New additions include the John Deere R975i trailed field sprayer and the HAWE body swap system, which lets you use trailer bodies like the Wienhoff 25.200 PTW Profi Line slurry tanker. Additionally, existing sprayers can be retrofitted with Trimble WeedSeeker2 sensors for smart spot spraying of weeds.

Precision Farming 3.0 also includes all the features of previous versions: Soil Types, Soil Sampling, Environmental Assessment, Economic Analysis & Yield Maps, Crop Sensors & Variable Rate Applications. The free smart farming add-on for Farming Simulator 19 and Farming Simulator 22 has been downloaded more than 5 million times, GIANTS Software is committed to continuing and expanding it due to popular demand.

Farming Simulator 25 is available for PC, Mac, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S. Precision Farming 3.0 will be released as a free DLC via the official ModHub on May 8. A Year 1 Season Pass is obtainable, which includes three packs and a major expansion – fans save up to 25% compared to getting the content separately. GIANTS Software will continue to release free content updates and user-generated content, too.

Ghost of Yotei comes to PlayStation 5 on Thursday, 2 October

PlayStation Australia and Sucker Punch are so excited to announce that Ghost of Yōtei comes to PS5 on Thursday, 2 October 2025!

It’s been nearly five years since Ghost of Tsushima was shipped, and in that time, the teams have been hard at work making Ghost of Yōtei something special. While the stories are unrelated, it’s important to the teams involved to make this a worthy follow-up to Jin’s journey, and PlayStation can’t wait for players to experience Atsu’s quest for vengeance later this year.

Alongside today’s news, PlayStation also released the latest trailer for Ghost of Yōtei, “The Onryō’s List.”

Sixteen years ago in the heart of Ezo (called Hokkaido in present day), a gang of outlaws known as the Yōtei Six took everything from Atsu. They killed her family and left her for dead, pinned to a burning ginkgo tree outside her home. But Atsu survived. She learned to fight, to kill, and to hunt, and after years away, she has returned to her home with a list of six names: The Snake, The Oni, The Kitsune, The Spider, The Dragon, and Lord Saito.

One by one, she’s hunting them down to avenge her family, armed with the same katana used to pin her to that burning tree all those years ago. But while Atsu’s story begins with vengeance, she’ll find there’s more to her journey than just revenge. As she explores Ezo, Atsu will meet unlikely allies and forge connections that help give her a new sense of purpose.

Both teams hope the brief looks in today’s trailer give a taste of what can be expected from Ghost of Yōtei. Beyond this first look at the Yōtei Six, spot some of the gorgeous scenery of Ezo as well as a handful of Atsu’s new weapons, a few of her allies, and even a new gameplay mechanic that will allow players to glimpse Atsu’s past and understand everything that was taken from her.

But this is only scratching the surface. In Ghost of Yōtei, the teams have built upon and evolved the way players explore the open world, offering even more freedom and variety than in Ghost of Tsushima. Players will choose which leads to follow as they pick which Yōtei Six member they want to hunt down first. Atsu can also track other dangerous targets and claim bounties, or seek out weapon sensei to learn new skills. Ezo is wild, and as deadly as it is beautiful. As players trek across the open world, they’ll find unexpected dangers and peaceful reprieves (including some returning activities from Tsushima) and will be able to build a campfire anywhere in the open world for a rest under the stars. The teams want players to have the freedom to explore Ezo however they decide to, and can’t wait to share more.

Today, PlayStation can also reveal that pre-orders for Ghost of Yōtei begin next week, on Friday, 2 May at 10:00 AM local time, and players will be able to choose between multiple different editions, including the amazing Collector’s Edition.

First, with pre-orders of any edition of Ghost of Yōtei players will receive a unique in-game mask, as well as a set of seven PSN avatars featuring concept art of Atsu and each member of the Yōtei Six at launch1. Pre-orders on PlayStation Store will receive the avatars immediately.

The standard edition of Ghost of Yōtei will be $124.95 AUD RRP and will be available at retail or PlayStation Store.

At PlayStation Store, players will also be able to pre-order the Ghost of Yōtei Digital Deluxe Edition for $139.95 AUD RRP.

The Digital Deluxe Edition includes a digital copy of Ghost of Yōtei plus in-game bonuses including The Snake’s armour set, as well as an alternate dye for starting armour. Players will also receive a unique horse colour and unique saddle dye, plus an in-game Charm, gold Sword Kit, and an early unlock of Traveller’s Maps, which allow players to find statues throughout the world to upgrade their skills.

Finally, PlayStation is thrilled to reveal the Ghost of Yōtei Collector’s Edition, which will be available for pre-order at select retailers. Collector’s Edition will be $369.95 AUD RRP.

This packed edition includes all of the pre-order bonuses, all in-game items from the Digital Deluxe Edition, and a digital copy of the game2, as well as a replica display edition of Atsu’s Ghost mask. The mask is built to scale with Jin’s mask from the Ghost of Tsushima Collector’s Edition. If someone has both, they look great next to each other on a shelf! The mask measures 6.8 x 5 x 5.9 inches and is made of resin, plus includes its own display stand.

Also included is a replica of Atsu’s sash, complete with the names of all six members of the Yōtei Six (but players will have to cross them off themselves). The sash measures 71 inches long and is made of a cotton blend, a perfect cosplay accessory or wall decoration.

There’s also a replica of the Tsuba from Atsu’s katana, forged by her father in the image of two twin wolves. This Tsuba measures roughly 3 x 3 inches and also includes its own display stand.

In addition to all of the above, the Ghost of Yōtei Collector’s Edition also includes a pouch of coins and instructions to play Zeni Hajiki, a game of skill to be played throughout Ghost of Yōtei. There’s also a foldable papercraft ginkgo tree along with a wolf at its base, and a set of four 5 x 7-inch art cards featuring the sash, the wolf, Atsu’s Ghost mask, and the game’s key art.

The teams think this is the best Collector’s Edition they have ever produced, and can’t wait for players to get their hands on it on Thursday, 2 October.

While pre-orders don’t open until Friday, 2 May, players can wishlist Ghost of Yōtei right now at PlayStation Store and sign up to receive notifications as the teams release more information in the months to come.

Sucker Punch and PlayStation are so proud of Ghost of Yōtei and have many more exciting things the teams can’t wait to show as the release date approaches. The teams are incredibly appreciative of all the support for Ghost of Tsushima and grateful for everyone who played, and hope everyone looks forward to following the wind once again on Thursday, 2 October.

RETURN TO WHERE IT ALL BEGAN: NEW LOOK AT TOM CLANCY’S THE DIVISION 2 BATTLE FOR BROOKLYN DLC

Fall-time Brooklyn Neighborhoods, New Narrative, and Missions in DLC

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – 24 April, 2025 – Today during the Division 2 Showcase, Ubisoft announced that Battle for Brooklyn, alongside a new season, will be launching on 27 May, while providing an in-depth look at the upcoming DLC’s gameplay, narrative, and Brooklyn setting.

In Battle for Brooklyn, players will visit post-pandemic New York during fall for the first time and explore the iconic Brooklyn neighborhoods of Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo. Brooklyn has been relatively peaceful with civilians working together and thriving while hostile factions ravaged Manhattan. However, the Cleaners and Rikers have now moved across the river, threatening the fragile tranquility of the Brooklyn settlement with the Purple Flame.

As players progress through the linear campaign of Battle for Brooklyn, either solo or in co-op, they will need to find out how the Cleaners are mass-producing the Purple Flame to save civilians from this suspicious attack.

Battle for Brooklyn features unlockable skills, including the return of Smart Cover from The Division 1, which enables players to reinforce cover, gain offensive and defensive buffs, and enhance pulse resistance for all allies. Available as a DLC exclusive, the Catalyst Exotic Mask will be helpful for combat against the Cleaners, thanks to its bonuses for dealing and receiving status effect damage.

The Division team also unveiled the three main goals for Year 7: improving the onboarding process for new agents, adding more depth to the endgame, and solidifying seasons as a cornerstone of The Division 2 experience. Players can expect new events and realigned modifiers, gear, and gameplay that better reflect the narrative elements of the seasons.

Starting 25 April, players who own The Division 2 can wishlist Battle for Brooklyn or the Battle for Brooklyn Deluxe DLC on the Ubisoft Store.

The DLC will also be available with purchases of The Division 2 Gold or The Division 2 Ultimate editions. Both editions include the standard game, the Warlords of New York expansion, 50 stash space slots, and a level 40 boost, allowing players to dive into the Battle for Brooklyn campaign right at launch. The Ultimate edition additionally includes 1000 Bonus Premium Credits and the Year 1 Pass, unlocking endgame specializations, exclusive missions, and more.
