Sculpt new planetary homes for humanity across two challenging worlds in this chill sci-fi simulation

[September 23, 2026] – Gaddy Games is excited to announce that the Worlds of Fire and Water DLC for calming sci-fi simulation game Plan B: Terraform is available now for $4.99, with a 15% launch discount for its first seven days. Arriving alongside the DLC is a free content update for the base game, which is normally $15.99 and is 30% off as part of a Steam Daily Deal.

The Worlds of Fire and Water DLC introduces two planets with vastly different challenges. The Fire World is plagued by extreme temperatures, a lack of minerals, and constant eruptions, requiring new tools to cool and terraform the planet. Meanwhile, the Water World is almost entirely covered by water, with only small islands available for construction. As temperatures fall, ice caps grow and water levels drop, revealing new land to develop. Each planet presents its own challenges as players work to make these polar opposites livable.

Free Content Update Features:

  • A new Tech Tree, replacing the old level system
  • Upgrades: one-time upgrades for the container capacity of trucks, trains, and drones, or to make your depots float on water, plus repeatable upgrades to increase vehicle and drone speed as well as extraction efficiency
  • New vehicles: early-game small ships and late-game airships
  • Dynamic polar ice caps and snow
  • Sea plants and plankton that follow water currents
  • Water farms to produce additional food
  • Rockets to launch shades and mirror satellites, and bring back ice comets
  • Greenhouse gas neutralization plants
  • Long-range drone extractors
  • Seabed extractors

The Worlds of Fire and Water DLC and free content update are available now for Plan B: Terraform on PC via Steam. Return to the planet and begin sculpting humanity’s next home across two radically different worlds.

Escape a world that crumbles behind you in Tenkarider’s dark roguelite action RPG, coming to PC via Steam this October

MILAN, ITALY – September 23, 2026. Indie developer Tenkarider and publisher Tambù Digital today announce that Lostbound, the dark roguelite action RPG where the world itself disappears behind you, will launch on PC via Steam on October 6, 2026.

A mysterious force of darkness relentlessly pursues players through a world of retro-inspired exploration, dangerous dungeons and constantly changing paths. Every decision matters as players search for powerful Artifacts, discover new routes and push deeper into the unknown, knowing that everything behind them could soon be gone.

But players aren’t simply racing against time. The Hand is hunting them.

THE HAND IS ALWAYS BEHIND YOU

In Lostbound, exploration comes with a unique risk. The more players move through the world, the more it begins to crumble in their wake, with previously explored paths disappearing as The Hand advances.

Players must constantly decide where to go next, balancing exploration against the need to stay ahead of their relentless pursuer. Push too far and risk losing the route home, or turn back while there’s still a way out.

The world is also filled with hidden Artifacts, giving players new opportunities to develop their character and adapt their approach with every run.

DESCEND INTO THE DUNGEONS

Lostbound’s dungeons offer a different challenge, filled with enemies, traps, secrets and rewards to discover.

Time remains a critical resource as players venture deeper into the darkness. Finding the right balance between exploration and survival is essential, particularly as night approaches and The Hand closes in.

Every run presents new opportunities, new dangers and new decisions to make.

NO TWO JOURNEYS ARE THE SAME

Lostbound combines retro-inspired adventure exploration with roguelite progression, creating a world that changes with every attempt.

Artifacts are randomly scattered throughout the world, encouraging players to experiment with different approaches and builds. Failure isn’t the end of the journey – each run offers the opportunity to learn, adapt and return stronger.

But the further players venture, the greater the risk.

KEY FEATURES

  • The Hand Hunts – Stay ahead of a relentless force of darkness that destroys the world behind you.
  • A World That Crumbles – Paths disappear as you explore, forcing you to constantly rethink your route.
  • Hunt for Artifacts – Discover randomly placed Artifacts and experiment with different builds every run.
  • Dark Dungeons – Explore dangerous dungeons packed with enemies, traps, secrets and rewards.
  • Race Against Time – Manage your route and resources carefully as night, and The Hand, approach.
  • Adapt and Survive – Learn from every run, develop your character and return with a new strategy.
  • Retro-Inspired Exploration – Discover a dark, nonlinear world inspired by classic adventure RPGs.

Lostbound launches on PC via Steam on October 6, 2026.

Players can play the free Lostbound demo now, offering a first taste of its world, exploration, dungeons and the ever-present threat of The Hand.

Play the demo, wishlist Lostbound on Steam and get ready to escape the Abyss when the full game launches October 6.

Lo-Fi Survival Horror Cult Classic, Heartworm, Launching on Xbox X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on Oct. 1

The psychological horror golden era of the 90s, now on your preferred console platform

LOS ANGELES (Sept. 23, 2026) Vincent Adinolfi’s Heartworm made a killer splash when it launched on PC in 2025 to rave fan reviews, and at the start of spooky season, horror maestros at DreadXP drop the highly anticipated console version of Heartworm on Oct. 1 on Xbox X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.

Catch a glimpse of what’s to come on consoles in today’s trailer:

In Heartworm, players are invited to step into a world where memories and mourning blur the lines between reality and supernatural visions. Follow Sam, a young woman overcome with grief after the passing of her beloved grandfather as her quest for closure leads her into a deep rabbit hole of online forums – and ultimately to a remote haunted house up in the mountains.  What begins as a desperate attempt to reconnect with the past quickly spirals into something more sinister and inexplicable, as she pushes deeper into the unknown armed with only a camera and her determination to venture further.

Blending the spirit of the survival horror classics like Resident Evil and Silent Hill with modern gameplay options, Heartworm tells a deeply personal story through pre-rendered and in-game cutscenes, classic and mind-bending puzzle-solving and limited but meaningful tense combat using a camera as your weapon to fend off what lies ahead.

Featuring optional tank controls, PSX-style visuals, and retro effects, you can tailor the experience to make it feel like it’s straight out of the late 90s, or scale back the nostalgia a little bit for a more modern experience. An original soundtrack and evocative environments guide you through 4-6 hours of exploration, tension and discovery, with multiple endings waiting on the other side.

Enter the house. Face the other side. Uncover the truth that these mountains hide.

0

Enter the Realm, Explore Four Distinct Worlds and Master Over a Thousand Handcrafted Puzzles in Jonathan Blow’s (The Witness, Braid) Largest and Greatest Puzzle Game Yet

LOS GATOS, Calif. – Sept. 23, 2026 – Arc Games, a leading publisher of AA and indie titles for PC and consoles, and Thekla, Inc. are excited to unveil a new trailer for Order of the Sinking Star, the massive, highly anticipated puzzle adventure led by legendary, award-winning game designer Jonathan Blow (The Witness, Braid). The latest trailer, “Explore the Realm,” highlights the game’s Overworld (the realm), its non-linear exploration structure, its four distinct worlds, and the twist that eventually collides those worlds together. Bringing this epic world filled with unique heroes to life is an all-star ensemble of professional actors, with the full voice cast set to be unveiled closer to the game’s release.

Excited to jump into Order of the Sinking Star? Wishlist the game today on Steam, Switch 2 and PS5!

In Order of the Sinking Star, players are transported to an enigmatic realm packed with curious magic, dangerous contraptions, and vicious monsters. Featuring over one thousand handcrafted puzzles, dozens of distinct game mechanics, and hundreds of hours of unique gameplay, Order of the Sinking Star invites you into a mysterious, living puzzle unlike anything you’ve played.

The Overworld – The Realm of Magic & Enigma – Overview

At the heart of the game lies the Overworld – a sprawling central hub that offers total player freedom with no single “right way” to proceed. From the starting point, four distinct paths branch out across the cardinal directions, each featuring its own unique characters, mechanics, hazards, and secrets:

  • The North (The Hearty Heroes of Hauling): Follows an eclectic band of fantasy adventurers – including a Warrior, Thief, Wizard, Bard, Cleric, and Druid – who run a local moving company. Each hero possesses a unique ability to manipulate objects and navigate different puzzles. When the party comes together, players must treat their team like a Swiss Army Knife, mastering what each hero’s unique action does—like pushing to clear lanes, pulling to move objects, or teleporting past blockades. Players will discover the key isn’t just knowing what an ability does, but understanding how to combine those distinct actions to set up multi-hero chain reactions.
  • The East (The Mirror Isles): Centers on a wealthy Trader embarking on a voyage across a pristine archipelago, navigating islands where magic mirrors instantly swap him and objects with their reflections. Players must treat their reflection as an active tool rather than a passive copy, lining up angles to project themselves onto distant islands. By leveraging spatial awareness – such as stepping back from a mirror to gain distance and project even farther – players can master the unique position-swapping logic required to clear each puzzle.
  • The West (The Promise): Stars a solitary Explorer delving deep into vast, subterranean cavern networks. To extract precious gems and navigate these depths, players utilize giant gems to channel colored light beams that unlock dynamic abilities—like phasing through solid walls, smashing boulders, and triggering long-distance teleports. The key to mastering this world is paying close attention to how beam colors open up opportunities across distant environments, as powering up the right combination of beams simultaneously is essential for clearing blocked paths.
  • The South (Skipping Stones to Lonely Homes): Follows a marooned Sailor who must cross open waters and travel from island to island. Traversal relies heavily on precise route-planning, river redirection, and stone-skipping logic. Players must analyze where it is possible for massive skipping stones and rideable lily pads to travel, carefully mapping out where stones land across open water and determining which directions to send lily pads gliding along rerouted waterways.

If players encounter a difficult puzzle on one path, they can freely backtrack and explore another region at their own pace. As players progress, the Overworld drastically expands – fading away the map’s fog to reveal even larger areas and more complex, interwoven puzzle mechanics.

The Gold Rooms: Merging the Worlds Within the Overworld

While Order of the Sinking Star begins as an anthology of four separate worlds, reaching the “Gold Rooms” will trigger a dramatic structural shift that causes the worlds to collide. Clearing a Gold Room bridges two distinct realms together, bringing their characters face-to-face and unlocking six massive, dual-combination areas. These hybrid zones intertwine entire narrative threads and puzzle systems—such as pairing the Explorer’s light beams with the Trader’s magic mirrors, or bringing the moving crew to the Sailor’s skipping stones—creating wildly surprising, multi-layered gameplay possibilities that prove there is far more to the Overworld than meets the eye.

Will you uncover the secret of the Order of the Sinking Star? There’s only one way to find out when Order of the Sinking Star launches on PC, Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 on October 8!
