The “Rally & Recon” update is here! Queue up with friends and take on the new 2v2 ranked multiplayer mode. Today’s update also introduces spectator mode, main menu chat, and six reconfigured multiplayer maps, four of which have been set up for 2v2 play with special spawn locations, and two of which are designed as 1v1 “dueling maps” featuring smaller areas with symmetrical spawns. There’s also a variety of bug fixes and two new player avatar icons available as PROS sign-up rewards, accessible via the game’s main menu.

In addition, players who pre-ordered Tempest Rising’s Deluxe Edition will receive the new “Deluxe Pre-order Bonus Pack” today, featuring two main menu backdrop videos and four player profile icons. These exclusive bonuses will be available in-game automatically upon logging in.

SHANGHAI – June 19, 2025 – Global game publisher GRYPHLINE is excited to announce its official upcoming showcase lineup for 2025 to spotlight Arknights: Endfield. Following a successful beta test in January 2025, which garnered strong player engagement and community feedback, Arknights: Endfield will be showcased at key events throughout the year, beginning with Anime Expo and Japan Expo in July, followed by a major showing at Gamescom in August, which will feature special stage programs, guest influencers, and more.

Be ready to march in PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY as the title unveiled more details about its gameplay and enhanced features with an overview trailer.

In PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY, players will act as the Mighty One and guide the Patapons, a tribe of fierce warrior spirits, towards the “Earthend”.  To survive this journey and help the mysterious creatures, the Mighty One will need to lead the march by playing rhythms with their drums.

There are four types of drums in the game, PATA, PON, DON, and CHAKA, and combining them differently creates actions such as “Protect”, “Attack”, “Advance” and more. Fever Mode can also be activated by connecting combos which will boost the Patapons’ attacks and give the opportunity to play the “Juju Rythm” to take advantage of the weather. Players will need to build their perfect team by choosing from various classes of Patapons and enhancing them by combining acquired items. There are over 400 types of equipment available in stages and mini games to build the strongest unit and lead the tribe to victory.

PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY also comes with new support functions that keep the appeal of the original games, while making the gameplay visually enhanced and more accessible. Now, players will enjoy the drum command always on display, a skip function for some scenarios, an input timing delay setting, as well as a new three-level difficulty adjustment.

Announcing the next step in Sony Interactive Entertainment’s commitment to Playing for the Planet

In 2019, at the UN Climate Summit, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) was invited to team up with the United Nations to combat climate change through the Playing for the Planet Alliance, which brings together industry leaders to work towards their sustainability goals. Since then, we have pursued a number of initiatives to contribute to the goals of the alliance and today, we’re proud to launch our latest project as part of this commitment: Climate Station.

Developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment, Climate Station uses the latest gaming technology, including virtual reality, to allow players to view, interact with, and understand complex climate data to raise awareness about climate change. With your 4K TV, you can view Climate Station with high quality 4K visuals from PlayStation 5 as you explore a wealth of information. Additionally, PlayStation VR2’s added immersion really brings complex climate data to life.

Climate Station is available free on PS5 and PS VR2 for players around the globe. The application tells the story of climate change through three acts: Weather Year, Observations, and Projections. There’s also an Explainer Library to explore.

• In Weather Year, users are introduced to the complex interconnected weather systems of planet Earth through a visual exploration of the meteorological events of 2019.
• Observations include 120 years’ worth of climate data, including detailed temperature records for thousands of locations – charting the gradual warming of our planet.
• In Projections, data from the latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) approved climate models allow users to explore how various choices will affect our future climate up to the end of the century, and the impact it would have on the planet.
• Climate Station also contains an Explainer Library, which features 90 minutes of engaging multi-media content explaining climate change.

Climate Station can be used in the comfort of player’s homes, but also in research and education settings and as an interactive scientific tool to transform complex data into an immersive experience. Data used in Climate Station is sourced from some of the foremost experts on the subject, including the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Berkeley Earth, the Climate Research Unit, and the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP).

SIE also collaborated with veteran meteorologist Laura Tobin, who served as a consultant on the project and lent her voice as narrator of the videos in Climate Station.

Los Angeles, CA – 18 June, 2025 – Netherworld Covenant, the roguelike with tactical, soulslike combat from developer MadGoat and publisher Infini Fun, descends onto PC via Steam Early Access today at 10 AM PDT.

With the Nether Lantern in hand, face beast hunters, archers, and soul devourers in a tactical blend of roguelike and soulslike combat. Mindless button mashing will lead to a swift demise – choose when to parry and dodge, then strike at the right moment with lethal blows. Mitigate the stamina costs wayward blade clashes and evasive maneuvers by strategically using ghostly abilities to recharge.

Take up arms in the tortured land of Languireg and join the plagued heroes caught in a never-ending battle with demons. Taking refuge in the Borderland, a region between the living and the dead, harness the powers of a forbidden artifact known as the Nether Lantern. Wield the lantern’s energy in a treacherous quest to reclaim souls and cleanse corrupt worlds. 

Summon the undead throughout skirmishes with the aid of Soul Companions. Spread across Swordsman, Ranger, Guardian, and Rogue classes, master their abilities to gain an upper hand. Phase through obstacles, dodge brutal attacks, and deal soul-wrenching finishers from behind. 

Earn temporary boons and resources after each level, and square off with bosses including massive beasts and nimble fallen heroes alike. After the endless clashes with these fallen souls, return to home base to replenish supplies, craft weapons, and forge spectral alliances to unlock new potential.
