Ready for Takeoff: Base-Building Strategy Game Ground of Aces Launches on PC on July 10, 2025

Zurich, Switzerland, June 26, 2025 – Swiss-Polish indie developer Blindflug Studios has officially announced the release date for its strategy base-building game Ground of Aces: The game will launch in Early Access on July 10, 2025 for Windows PC and Mac.

Ground of Aces on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2308690/Ground_of_Aces

Ground of Aces puts players in command of an airbase during World War II, where they must build, manage, and lead their base through the hardships of war. The Early Access version features the British Royal Air Force as the first playable faction and offers a wide selection of iconic British aircraft to collect for your base.

Following the successful release of the playable demo earlier this year, the team is now ready to take the next big step. Executive Producer Moritz Zumbühl explains: “Over the past few months, we’ve worked closely with our community, and we’re incredibly excited to launch the Early Access version of Ground of Aces exactly on the 85th anniversary of the start of the Battle of Britain. July 10 is our D-Day – and we can’t wait to send players on their mission.”

Ground of Aces will offer players a unique view into World War II, highlighting the challenges faced by air bases and their crews, including historic events such as the Battle of Britain. It is inspired by free form base building games like Rimworld and Going Medieval, as well as historical strategy games like Hearts of Iron IV. The art style will pay homage to the “ligne claire” style of Franco-Belgian comics like Biggles and Buck Danny.

The main pillars of Ground of Aces:

  • Engulf yourself in the Second World War: Step into the shoes of an air base commander and witness the war from a new perspective. Build and defend your base, send pilots on critical missions, and play a vital role in shaping the war effort.
  • A base builder at heart: Design and expand your air base with complete freedom. Your base is laid out by your own choices and thus unique.
  • A dream for aviation enthusiasts: Take command of a fleet of historically significant aircraft. Carefully select the right planes for each mission, maintain your fleet, and ensure your base is always ready for action.
  • Your crew’s personal stories: Your crew is more than just numbers—they are individuals shaped by war. Witness their struggles and triumphs, and feel the weight of every loss.

WIELD THE BLADE OF LEGACY! IN TURN-BASED VISUAL NOVEL ‘LOTUS: LOST MEMORIES’ COMING TO STEAM AUGUST 1ST

Experience a turn-based 2D-pixel visual novel about a young samurai’s tale of loss, betrayal, and remembrance

Ontario, Canada, June 26, 2025 | Sava Beric and Ahamed Inhaam, the duo development team behind Fenyx Digital, are proud to share that their debut game, Lotus: Lost Memories, will be available on Steam on August 1st, with a demo currently available. This side-scrolling, 2D-pixel art visual novel features turn-based combat alongside a deeply moving narrative, inviting players to explore themes of manipulation, memory, and choice.

Meet Atsushi. A Young, Troubled Samurai

Lotus: Lost Memories tells the story of Atsushi, a growing samurai confronting the grief of losing his loved ones in a mythically inspired feudal Japan. The only way to save his ill father is to obtain the Raiketsu herb, a precious plant earned through deadly tournaments hosted by Lord Hisashi, an emperor who crowns the champion among the most skilled samurai from across the nation. Join Atsushi on his journey, starting with an escort mission that uncovers hidden pacts and alliances, revealing powerful truths that will ultimately shape his beliefs forever.

A Visual Novel Told Through Turn-Based Combat

Fans of visual novels and turn-based mechanics will feel right at home with Lotus: Lost Memories, which offers a heartfelt story that can resonate with everyone. The game features a deliberate, slow-paced combat system that reflects the introspective nature typical of visual novels, combined with a unique strategic battle system. This system merges turn-based mechanics with real-time Quick Time Events for actions like blocking, parrying, and throwing kunai to intercept attacks. Players need to perfect their timing and precision with ten distinct turn-based moves, including overhead and underhand swings, piercing jabs, and more, to defeat their opponents. For increased difficulty, Gauntlet Mode presents a timed endurance trial where players compete against matched opponents on a leaderboard. Visit six different Japanese-inspired combat environments, each promising unique enemies of various sizes and difficulties, including stealthy ninjas, cunning bandits, and fellow samurai.

Restore Buried Memories of the Past

Lotus: Lost Memories is structured into three acts, told through a narrative-first campaign. In Act One, players experience the early days of Atsushi’s samurai training, with an introduction to the story setting and combat mechanics. As players progress to Act Two, the world expands, allowing them to learn more about Atsushi as he begins to trust others and share his memories. In Act Three, players will apply all the Quick Time Events they have mastered in a series of tournament trials, where long-buried truths are finally revealed. On the battlefield, players will soon discover that they may have more in common with their enemies than they once believed. Both sides of the war are made up of warriors, each with unique histories, motivations, and fates of their own.

Demo Now Available

The demo for Lotus: Lost Memories is now available. Play the demo today to experience the first 20 minutes of the opening act, get a feel for the first level’s handful of enemies, and immerse yourself in three distinct combat environments, concluding with a mini-boss battle.

Full Gameplay Features:

  • A Visual Novel Presented in Three Acts with strategic turn-based combat
  • Ten unique enemy types, each varying in size with distinct ability patterns and movesets
  • Real-Time Quick Time Events (QTEs): Includes parrying, blocking, and interrupts
  • Skill-Based Victory: Success relies solely on the player’s precision, timing, and reflexes
  • Six Unique Battle Environments: Inspired by historical Japanese landmarks
  • Gauntlet Mode: Offers increased trial challenges for leaderboard ranking

Don’t forget to add Lotus: Lost Memories to your wishlist on Steam for updates, and make sure to join the Discord for community discussions!

PUMA and Sloclap Team Up With a Stylish Starting Lineup for Online Action Football Game Rematch

PUMA outfits the action in Rematch, the fast-rising online football game redefining digital competition and style

PARIS (June 26, 2025) – For years, PUMA has relentlessly pushed athletes to be the best version of themselves both on and off the field with their stylish performance wear, and today the iconic brand has joined the starting lineup for Sloclap’s Rematch, the online action video game for PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation consoles. Since the game’s launch on June 19, Rematch has taken the video game world by storm with more than 3 million players in its first week of availability and more than 13 matches played (www.playrematch.com).

Partnerships are a key part of how REMATCH delivers content and experience. The game doesn’t aim to just convey the feeling & joy of “playing” football — it wants to capture the full cultural spectrum around it, where fashion, competition, and self-expression meet. That’s where brands like PUMA come in, helping to anchor the game’s identity and offering players authentic customization opportunities.

“At Sloclap, we’ve always wanted Rematch to reflect the full energy, the style, the competition and self-expression. PUMA is a perfect partner for that: their strong presence in both gaming and football made them an obvious choice. Most importantly, we share a creative vision and a player-first approach that made this collaboration feel like a perfect match.” says Félix Garczynski, Head of Marketing & Publishing at Sloclap.

The choice of PUMA is no accident. As a footwear and streetwear brand with strong ties to professional football and a growing footprint in gaming — from collaborations with PlayStation, Minecraft and Rocket League, to sports franchises like EA FC — PUMA brings credibility and creative value to the project.

“Football is part of PUMA’s DNA, so joining Rematch—a game already generating serious buzz—is a natural fit,” says Ivan Dashkov, PUMA Director of Emerging Marketing Technology. “We’re excited to show up in a space where we’re both culturally and competitively at home. Our Digital Goods team is proud to partner with Sloclap and Kepler Interactive, especially following their breakout hit Expedition 33. Their commitment to high-quality gaming makes this collaboration even more meaningful. Rematch brings a fresh perspective and thrilling gameplay that fans of both football and gaming will love.”

The partnership debuts in-game with the release of an exclusive outfit today, with more to come during season 1 with outfits and accessories inspired by both footwear and streetwear. This is just the start of a broader collaboration that will evolve over time, keeping players engaged and visually distinct as they take the field. The in-game Rematch outfit consists of popular in-real-life collections mixed and matched to create a stylish outfit that lets you look as good as you play.

With Rematch, Sloclap has distilled the world’s most popular sport down to its most basic tenets: Teamwork, strategy and skill. The third-person perspective puts you right onto the pitch for nonstop competitive play – there are no fouls, offsides or VAR. Control one player on the field for an intense showdown of 5v5, or choose from a variety of quickplay modes, evolving tactics and decisions to fit the moment-to-moment needs of the match.

Rematch is available now with versions starting at $29.99. Play now on Xbox, PlayStation and Steam. Visit www.playrematch.com to learn more and be sure to follow @PlayRematch on Twitter.

A Little to the Left wraps up with final Packed Update

Available on PC, Mac, console, and mobile

K’jipuktuk/Halifax, Nova Scotia, CA – 26 June 2025: Almost three years since it first launched, cozy puzzler A Little to the Left has no more messes to conquer. Today’s free Packed Update neatly brings active development on the game to an end, with one final gift to fans to thank them for their love and support over the years.

The Packed Update includes three new drawer-themed levels, offering single-solution puzzles that look perfectly arranged when completed. There have also been sweeping changes to the Daily Tidy, including the addition of a new level, hints for these levels, easing of streaks including checkpoints and forgiveness if missing a day, and customisable badges to show off your dedication to daily decluttering.

Alongside this, players can now challenge their tidying talent in Shuffle Mode, which reorders the entire library of A Little to the Left puzzles and tasks you with solving them in whatever order they come out. Shuffle Mode will also include levels from DLC packs, so fans who own both Cupboards & Drawers and Seeing Stars can challenge a gauntlet of over 160 levels in an unusually disorganised order.

Finally, A Little to the Left is adding new accessibility features to ensure everyone can enjoy the game. A Colour Assist Mode can now be toggled on, replacing a handful of puzzles with variants that no longer rely on colour to be solved. All platforms will also benefit from the ability to pan and zoom, letting you get a closer look at the objects you’re sorting – perfect for those peskier puzzles.

A Little to the Left began life as a game jam project for Annie Macmillan and Lukas Steinman and has grown to become a million-selling game with two paid DLCs, numerous free updates since launch, and versions available on all available platforms. This final update is not the end for the team at Max Inferno, who are already exploring ideas for their next game.

DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH follows the genre-defying open-world adventure DEATH STRANDING. In this highly anticipated sequel, Sam, with companions by his side, sets out on a new journey to save humanity from extinction as he attempts to connect Australia to the Chiral Network.

Navigate a living environment through day and night cycles, natural disasters including earthquakes, sandstorms and forest fires, and Timefall – a rain that instantly ages everything it touches.

Join them as they traverse a world beset by otherworldly enemies, obstacles and a haunting question: Should we have connected?

Step by step, legendary game creator Hideo Kojima changes the world once again.

Check out the Explore. Connect. Survive. trailer below, and look out for the final trailer launching tonight Thursday, 26 June 2025 at 7:00 pm AEST.
