The scenario can be played solo or in co-op with up to 4 players online. The playtest gives gamers 3 additional invites to send out to their friends, or they can join the open playtest via the Steam Page here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4009490/Arctic_Drive/

Hubert Confirms October 12th Steam Release Date

August 31, 2026 | Fresh from Gamescom, Brocap Studio is excited to reveal that Hubert, an adventure starring a fluffy, overconfident shepherd dog with a nose for trouble, arrives on Steam October 12th. The PlayStation 5 release date will follow in the coming weeks.

About the Game

Meet Hubert, a fluffy, overconfident shepherd dog with a nose for trouble. He sees the world through movement, scent, instinct, and curiosity. You experience everything through his eyes.

By his side is Lily, a sharp-witted kid who just convinced the grumpiest farmer in the valley to give them both a job. Their mission is to herd dozens of mildly chaotic sheep across the pastures. Easy, right? Not when the sheep have the attention span of a goldfish, and the farmer has zero patience.

Beyond the farm, in the uncharted northern wilderness, the land grows quieter and stranger. Something is out there. Not just a threat, but a call that Hubert understands in ways he cannot fully explain. A tale of friendship, bravery, and barking at sheep.

Warning: This game contains mild mischief, stubborn sheep, and a dog who thinks he’s the main character. He might be right.

The Last Caretaker Drops Surprise Update 5.5: Deck Drop

Seventh Early Access update adds new quests, memories, storage modules, locations and another major round of improvements

Helsinki, Finland – August 31, 2026 – Channel37 releases Update 5.5: Deck Drop, the seventh Early Access update for The Last Caretaker, available on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The update adds new quests, memories, storage systems and locations alongside extensive optimization, fixes and polish shaped by player feedback. The Last Caretaker is also 20% off through September 13, and part of Steam PvE Survival Crafting Fest 2026.

Update 5.5: Deck Drop wasn’t originally on the roadmap. With Update 6 already in development, the team had another substantial batch of improvements and content ready ahead of schedule. Players had also been asking for better ways to store and move resources, smoother moment-to-moment play, and more reasons to revisit existing parts of the world. Rather than hold that work for the next major update, Channel37 decided to release it now.

Update 5.5: Deck Drop Highlights

  • Expanded storage: 11 new container modules, from portable storage to large Bulk Battery, Petrol and Diesel containers.
  • More history to uncover: Pack of new memories and even more HoloMemories, alongside new questlines MOSES Field Reserve Program and Memory for Aron.
  • More places to explore: New Gyro Towers, Container Dispensers, Warehouse expansion and additional discoveries throughout the world.
  • A smoother game: reduced loading stutter, improved vehicle handling and cameras, clearer UI, better weather and visibility, and extensive world polish.
  • A major fix and balancing pass: addressing crashes, quests, crafting, rockets, cables, containers, locations and progression issues.

Update 5.5: Deck Drop also expands several existing systems. Container Dispensers have been added across the world, the Fishing Module has been further tuned, and new secrets are there for players who explore deep into the world (Room 998 Transposium Tinfoil Club).

“Early Access works because players keep telling us where the game can be better,” said Antti Ilvessuo, Co-Founder and Creative Director at Channel37. “They play for a long time, they find things we missed, and they are very clear about what they want more of. We listened, had this work ready while Update 6 was still cooking, so making people wait for it didn’t make sense. This is the second time we’ve added an extra update, and we’re happy we can keep surprising our players.”

Update 5.5: Deck Drop continues Channel37’s approach of expanding the world while also improving what is already there. Update 6 remains on track as the next major update for The Last Caretaker.

The Last Caretaker is available now in Early Access on Steam and the Epic Games Store, currently discounted by 20% (now $27.99 / €23.99 / £21.59) through September 13.

Protect the Harvest in Tattie Bogle, a New Scarecrow Roguelite Bringing Cozy Co-op Chaos to PC

Cozy by day, cursed by night – defend the harvest as an enchanted scarecrow with up to three friends

Minneapolis, USA, August 31st, 2026 – PineFog Studios today announced Tattie Bogle, a co-op farming-defense roguelite where players take on the role of an enchanted scarecrow protecting a farm from a rising tide of pests, critters and folklore-born nightmares, is coming to Steam later this year. Grow crops, build defenses and survive shifting day-and-night cycles as you fight to keep the harvest and your farm alive.

Where most farming games cast you as the grower, Tattie Bogle flips the perspective: you’re the guardian, not the gardener. Enchanted to life by a ‘Tomte’ (a gnome from Scandinavian folklore), players use directional fear blasts to scatter pests, place defenses across the farm and race to harvest crops before they’re destroyed – blending the strategic placement of tower defense, the rhythm of a farming sim and the run-based progression of a roguelite into one distinctive loop.

By day, the farm is a cozy place to grow and harvest. By night, folklore-inspired threats emerge, turning the fields into a fight for survival. Tattie Bogle draws its world from Norse folklore where cursed relics dug from ancient barrows grant powerful abilities, but at a cost, spawning skeletal threats after dark and risking corruption of the very crops they’re meant to protect. When a run ends, the farm resets but the scarecrow’s hard-won upgrades carry forward into the next attempt.

Tattie Bogle is also built for playing together: up to four players can team up in online co-op, with difficulty and enemy waves scaling dynamically to match the group. Veterans can even dial their own upgrades back down to keep things fair, turning the defense of a single farm into a full-blown group panic.

“We wanted to flip the perspective on farming games and make you the guardian, not the gardener,” said Andy Johnson, Founder, PineFog Studios. “Tattie Bogle combines the strategic depth of tower defense with the satisfaction of farming and the replayability of a roguelite – then throws friends into the mix for some wonderfully chaotic co-op moments!”

Key Features:

  • Become the Scarecrow – Use directional fear blasts to scatter pests and defend your farm
  • Farm & Defend – Grow crops, build defenses and race against the clock to protect your harvest
  • Survive the Night – Face increasingly supernatural threats inspired by Norse folklore
  • Roguelite Progression – Every run brings new upgrades, while permanent progression carries forward
  • Up to 4 Player Co-op – Team up with friends as difficulty and enemy waves scale with your group
  • Risk vs. Reward – Equip cursed relics for powerful abilities at a dangerous cost

About PineFog Studios:
PineFog Studios was founded by Andy Johnson, who left full-time work to build games independently. An early attempt at a custom engine in Rust was abandoned in favour of shipping something finished; Tattie Bogle followed.

Albion Online’s ‘Dragonfire’ update brings the greatest-ever PvE challenge to Albion Online today for PC, Xbox and Mobile

Face Dragons and explore the Ancient Lands to unlock new rewards, featuring Azaryon the Fire Dragon – Albion Online’s greatest-ever PvE challenge

Berlin, Germany – 31 August 2026Albion Online, the free-to-play fantasy sandbox MMORPG developed by Sandbox Interactive has launched its latest major content update ‘Dragonfire’ today, unleashing Dragons onto the world of Albion for the first time. Players will contend with the lair of a huge Fire Dragon, face enemies known as The Ashborn, and explore a new realm called the Ancient Lands. The update is available across all platforms; PC, Xbox Series S|X, Android and iOS devices.

About Dragonfire

There’s plenty for players to explore with the launch of ‘Dragonfire’ and one of the biggest new features is The Ancient Lands, a completely new region offering exploration, PvE and PvP combat. Portals will appear throughout Albion, some for solo players and small groups, and some supporting parties of up to twenty players. After entering a portal, players will find themselves on a floating island and must progress by defeating mobs of enemies and unlocking keystones that allow teleporters to be activated.

Traversing the Ancient Lands will eventually lead players to four Drake Islands, where they’ll find rewards including Treasure Chests and Waystone Fragments that will help unlock access to an even deadlier area, the Dragon Sanctuary.

Only the toughest warriors who enter the Dragon Sanctuary will make it through, and those who do will come up against the most intense PvE challenge in Albion’s history; Azaryon, the Fire Dragon. But for those who are daring enough, defeating him can lead to the most valuable reward of them all; a Drake Egg that can be cared for and grown into a Firewing Drake mount to carry players across the world and strike terror into their enemies.

And it’s not just in the Dragon Sanctuary that players can face Dragons. They’ll also attack the open world, offering spontaneous encounters on the Royal Continent for everyone, as well as new high-level objectives for guilds in the Outlands.

The “Royal Hunt” Creator Event

Albion Online will mark the release of the Dragonfire update with a new creator contest, running until October 12. Following the success of their previous Crucible events, the Royal Hunt will see content creators forming guilds and competing to complete missions – including slaying Dragons. By doing so, they can earn giveaways for their communities, and the most successful will get exclusive, real-life Dragon Coins minted from genuine silver. See here for more info: https://albiononline.com/news/royal-hunt-begins

A full overview of the Dragonfire update is available on the official update page.

Download the game for free on Microsoft Store, Steam, Epic Game Store, Apple App Store and Google Play.

XBOX https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/store/au-revoir/9PCQGH15713F

Explore the Dystopian Cyberpunk Future of 2071

In Au Revoir, players take on the role of Tristan, a Sentinel working for the powerful megacorporation Au Revoir Ltd. Tasked with retrieving human consciousnesses stored in synthetic brains, Tristan begins to question his own identity as cracks start to appear in his own synthetic mind — all while the company’s stock continues to rise unchecked.

As he uncovers a conspiracy linking his past, the corporation, and its controversial technology, players must face moral choices that shape the story’s outcome. With multiple endings, the game invites players to explore profound questions about the fragility of memory, the dilemma of immortality, and the price of corporate power

Content and Gameplay

The Au Revoir campaign lasts approximately two to three hours and features several puzzles scattered throughout the journey. With five distinct endings, the goal is to encourage players to revisit the story — gaining new perspective on its world and characters — and uncover alternative paths and twists.

Au Revoir combines exploration in 3D environments, multiple-choice dialogues, document and item collection, world exploration, narrative-driven puzzle-solving, and decisions that directly influence the story’s progression and its endings.

The investigative challenges require attention, logic, and keen observation. Players must gather clues, connect information, and solve puzzles seamlessly integrated into the narrative. Each mystery solved brings them closer to the truth — or even challenges their perceptions of the world setting

An Award-Winning and Internationally Recognized Game

In 2025, Au Revoir gained international recognition for its quality. The game took second place among student projects at the GWB Game Awards, a prestigious event organized by the Tencent Institute of Games. This international competition for independent and student projects was created to highlight the best new and in-development games from around the world.

According  to the organization, this was the most hotly contested and competitive edition to date — as it also honored acclaimed titles such as Blue Prince, from the studio Dogubomb.

In addition to taking second place, Au Revoir also received an award in the “Stop and Think” category, which recognizes titles whose gameplay or narrative experiences encourage players to reflect.

In Brazil, the SBGAMES Manaus 2024 Virtual Games Festival — considered the largest academic event in Latin America in the field of Games and Digital Entertainment — also honored Au Revoir in the categories of Best Student Game, Best Narrative by Students, Best Visuals by Students, and Best Audio by Students.

Add Au Revoir to Your Wishlist

While Au Revoir isn’t officially available on consoles yet, it’s worth remembering how important it is for players to add the game to their wishlists

This is one of the most effective ways for players to show interest in their favorite indie titles, helping the platform algorithms highlight the release to other users.

Nuntius Games is thrilled to expand its portfolio to consoles, and the news doesn’t stop there. More updates will be shared very soon.

Jackbox-esque social deduction game Forest of Deceit, now available on Nintendo Switch

The new game from Ghost Camp and Thomas Mackinnon, creator of THE CORRIDOR and It Takes a War releases today on Nintendo platforms. Also available on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox

Ghost Camp proudly announces that Forest of Deceit, the Jackbox-esque social deduction game for 4-8 players, is now available on Nintendo Switch for £8.99 / €9.99, joining Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. Forest of Deceit is influenced by TV shows such as The Traitors and classic hidden roles board games like Werewolf. Players will find themselves stranded in a vast forest, waiting for a storm to arrive – a storm that will kill them if they can’t build a safe shelter in time, a task for which they will need to venture into the woods in order to gather resources.

But the forest itself is cursed, and drives some of your friends mad to the point that now they’re trying to get you all killed. Traitors can sneak bad resources into the pool to hinder your efforts, or even make you lost in the accursed woods. If the storm comes and the shelter isn’t finished, they will win; but after a few days, the group will start taking votes to cast out suspected traitors. Will you be able to find all the traitors in time, or will the storm wash you all away in the end?

You can play Forest of Deceit in local and online multiplayer (via screen share). You’ll only need one copy of the game for the host; other players will use their phones, tablets, computers, or any other device with a web browser (you’ll need them to receive secret information. Especially if you’re one of the Traitors!).

Forest of Deceit is the new game Thomas Mackinnon (creator of the acclaimed games THE CORRIDOR and It Takes a War). The game features Sylvester McCoy – universally known as the Seventh Doctor from Doctor Who, as well as Radagast from The Hobbit movie trilogy – as its Narrator.

KEY FEATURES

  • Gather resources to build a shelter against the upcoming storm. If you are a Traitor, you will try to get other people lost in the forest, and hinder the group’s efforts by collecting bad resources.
  • Discuss what happened, and eventually start voting suspect Traitors out. If the Traitors can prevent the Innocents building a shelter in time, they win.
  • Create your own house rules: An endlessly replayable party game, with fully customisable game options.
  • Use your own phones, tablets, or computers for each player to play right from their very own web browser.
  • Easy-to-play social deduction game, with a simple gameplay loop: Focusing on casual play and social interaction, Forest of Deceit is fun for all kinds of players (from a family experience to group meetings; from non-gamers to hardcore players!)
  • Fantastic for both local multiplayer and online play. Works great with screen-sharing for online play – we recommend Discord!
