Forge of Empires Releases Huge PvP Battle System

Forge of Empires Releases Huge PvP Battle System

Guild vs Guild feature is supposed to bring the game to another level with massive battles ahead

Hamburg, February 25, 2014. With Guild vs. Guild, InnoGames just released a massive long time PvP feature for its successful strategic online game Forge of Empires. From now on, the game’s guilds may participate in a large-scale battle for control and power on one persistent continent. Participating guilds need to gain and keep control of sectors by means of battle and trade and will get rewards like recruitment or research boosts according to their success. InnoGames released a video explaining the basics of Guild vs. Guild. The feature is out on all language versions.

In Guild vs. Guild, the goal is to expand one’s own guilds territory by conquering them from NPC-enemies and other guilds, and defending them against enemy takeover. Aside from numerous armies, guilds also need various rare goods to gain control of sectors, so peaceful traders add to their guild’s success as well. Since each sector needs resources and troops from different Ages in order to be conquered, it’s possible for all players of a guild to participate, regardless of their progress in the game – as long as they have reached at least the Iron Age. Controlled territory grants a guild experience points, which then contributes to its power level. The higher the level, the better rewards and perks all guild members will obtain daily.

Forge of Empires is an online strategy game, where players, tasked with leading their own city to prosperity, can research new technologies, build impressive historical buildings and enlarge their sphere of influence through military campaigns and skillful dealing. The game has been awarded the title of “Best Browser Game 2013” at the German Computer Game Award (Deutscher Computerspielpreis).

With about 120 million registered players, InnoGames is one of the world’s leading developers and providers of online games. The Hamburg-based company has scored major successes with games such as Tribal Wars, The West and Grepolis.

TEAM NINJA TROTS OUT THE ROT IT’S ZOMBIES EXPOSED IN EPISODE THREE OF THE YAIBA: NINJA GAIDEN Z DEVELOPER DIARY SERIES

TEAM NINJA TROTS OUT THE ROT IT’S ZOMBIES EXPOSED IN EPISODE THREE OF THE YAIBA: NINJA GAIDEN Z DEVELOPER DIARY SERIES

Team NINJA today released the third episode of the YAIBA: NINJA GAIDEN Z developer diary series exploring the humorous side of Inafune’s zombies, as well as what makes them uniquely deadly. Team members reflect on the conceptualization and creation of the zombies from various aspects of development, with commentary from Conceptor, Keiji Inafune (comcept), Art Director Shinsuke Komaki (comcept), Game Director, Masahiro Yasuma (comcept), Lead Animator, Jason Shum (Spark), Richard Smith, Art Director (Spark) in “Bringing out the Dead”.

In YAIBA: NINJA GAIDEN Z, players will battle fierce zombies as Yaiba, a cyborg ninja who will do anything to get revenge and stay alive. Cleaved in two, he is brought back to life with cyber-technology. Brandishing his ninja sword and the mecha weapons in his cyber arm, he slaughters zombies with brutal, over-the-top abandon. Step into a stylized living comic book where stunning graphics depict a world gone mad. Hordes of undead can only be stopped by Yaiba’s willingness to use any means necessary to get the job done. Will he kill by turning his cyber arm into a razor chainsaw for slicing up undead—or just rip off an opponent’s arms to use as zombie nunchucks? Both possibilities fill Yaiba’s heart with twisted laughter in this upcoming collaboration between famed developers Team NINJA and comcept’s Keiji Inafune.

YAIBA: NINJA GAIDEN Z will be available for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft on March 18, 2014 and Steam® (PC) on March 21, 2014. This title been rated M (Mature) by the ESRB.
