TIDES OF ANNIHILATION PREMIERES ‘BENEATH THE VEIL’ TRAILER AT GAMESCOM OPENING NIGHT LIVE 2026

New Cinematic Gameplay Trailer Introduces Guinevere and Sir Lancelot – Showcases Angela Sant’Albano as the New Voice of Gwendolyn

GAMECOM 2026: COLOGNE, GERMANY – AUGUST 25, 2026 – Eclipse Glow Games today premiered a brand-new trailer for its highly anticipated single-player action-adventure title, Tides of Annihilation, during gamescom’s Opening Night Live showcase in Cologne, Germany. The new trailer offers players a dramatic look at the emotional core of the game following the cataclysmic destruction of London as Gwendolyn mysteriously inherits the mystical power of King Arthur.

In the trailer, a distraught Gwendolyn considers her new reality amidst the ash of a ruinous London before being encouraged by the legendary Guinevere to harness the power of the Fog – a power only King Arthur once wielded – to save both London and the otherworldly realm of Avalon from total annihilation. Embracing her destiny, Gwendolyn takes up the sword and learns to fight alongside powerful spectral knights; this new trailer debuts the legendary Sir Lancelot summoned by Gwendolyn to dispatch enemies in spectacular style.

The premiere also officially introduces Angela Sant’Albano as the new voice of Gwendolyn, stepping into the role to carry the heroine’s journey forward.

“I am beyond thrilled—and deeply honored—to officially announce that I’m stepping into the role of Gwendolyn in Tides of Annihilation,” stated voice actress Angela Sant’Albano. ”Gwen is the kind of heroine I love. She carries self-doubt, constantly questioning whether she’s enough, but she refuses to let fear make her stand still. Everything she does is driven by love for her sister and her homeland, and I think that’s what makes her strength feel so human. Getting to step into her boots, facing otherworldly demigods, and commanding Knights of the Round Table has been an absolute privilege.”

Also announced today, as part of their driven initiative towards a full global launch, Tides of Annihilation has included new language support for Brazilian Portuguese. The game now will have language support for 11 languages (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Korean, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese).

Attendees heading to gamescom in Cologne can play the first global hands-on demo of Tides of Annihilation at Hall 6, Booth B-050 in Koelnmesse. Demo stations will be outfitted with GeForce RTX 5080 GPUs, TCL TVs and Monitors. Attendees will be the first to experience Tides with NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation support. Hardware will also be provided by Razer, PlayStation, and Xbox.

Tides of Annihilation is currently being developed for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStationⓇ 5. For more information, please visit the game’s official website: global.playtoa.com.

Polylithic 1.0 Is Out Now, and Prehistory Will Never Be the Same

The colorful, chaotic Stone Age tribe-builder launches out of Early Access with companion animals, enemy tribes, a bison with a bad attitude, and the Stone Age’s first cooking minigame

CZECH REPUBLIC, August 25, 2026Polylithic, the Stone Age survival game that dares to ask why prehistoric games are always brown, is out now. Developed by polyperfect and published by indie.io, the 1.0 release marks the largest content drop in the game’s history, arriving after more than 50 updates across nearly three years of Early Access.

STEAM PAGE

Set in a vibrant, low-poly world where humans are definitively not at the top of the food chain, Polylithic casts players as tribe leaders navigating the long, chaotic road from Paleolithic hunter-gatherer to Neolithic settler. That means hunting, crafting, expanding a settlement, managing a technology tree, and keeping a tribe of increasingly demanding cavemen alive through prehistoric winters, rival threats, and their own questionable decisions. The game supports both solo play and online co-op for up to 10 players, with an infinitely generated Sandbox Mode for those who prefer to skip the narrative and simply cause problems

The 1.0 update brings a substantial expansion of everything Polylithic established in Early Access. Players can now adopt a best friend, choosing between a dog and a hyena depending on their disposition. Enemy tribes arrive to complicate settlement plans. A new Mammoth boss and a bison described by the developer as simply “mean” expand the creature roster, while a full character customization system lets players dress for the Stone Age in ways the Stone Age never intended. The new cooking minigame generates recipes procedurally, which is as chaotic as it sounds. Tribal dances now happen every other night, because on the off nights everyone just gets to hang out. New BBC documentary-inspired cutscenes, new story moments, smarter AI, new weapons, and a major optimization pass round out a release that the developer describes simply as “a lot.”

Polylithic is available now on Steam and the indie.io store, priced at $14.99 with a 35% launch discount. The game supports English, Czech, French, German, Russian,  Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, and Japanese.

SCRAP. SALVAGE. SURVIVE. TANKRAT LOCKED AND LOADED FOR JANUARY 15TH LAUNCH

Deploy in January, Sleepwalkers!

London, United Kingdom & Toronto, Canada (25th August, 2026) – Today at gamescom Opening Night Live, developer Alpha Channel revealed 15th January as the release date for brutal vehicular RPG, TankRat – coming to PS5 and PC via Steam.

Watch the extended version of the eerie, explosive trailer below, set to William Blake’s ‘The Tyger’

Created in partnership with Kepler Interactive, TankRat is a post-apocalyptic journey of rebellion, lost identity, and mech-mayhem. You control Whittaker, a digitized human consciousness known as a ‘Sleepwalker’, capable of fusing with fully customizable tanks.

Whittaker has one mission: find salvation in the fabled city of Highpoint. But as you venture into the Event Containment Area – a war-torn wasteland occupied by machines called Tankrats – that mission becomes an existential bullet to Whittaker’s view of morality, consciousness and power. Your only hope lies in Cyril, a mysterious guide and mentor, and in your ability to pilot your tank better than those who seek to tear it apart wheel by wheel.

Through six unique areas to explore and seven giant, mechanical bosses, the metal of the most hardened Sleepwalkers will be put to the test. The name of the game is survival. The way you do it is up to you…

For any Sleepwalker seeking survival, the tank is the backbone. Choose between the light tank – nimble, quick and able to dodge projectiles and flee from fights at the blink of an eye – and the medium tank – a mechanical behemoth capable of soaking up large amounts of damage and dealing even more.  Load your tank up from a selection of over twenty-five weapons, from the 90mm cannon that tears through metal, to the 10mm cannon that picks off enemies from a distance.

Whichever tank or cannon you choose is half the battle. In the ECA, what you take becomes what you are. Dismantling tanks and harvesting parts from their corpses is just as important as getting your tank right from the start. Each part has the possibility to bring unique advantages, perks and fresh ways to wreak havoc that can only be found in the ECA.

Speaking about the upcoming release, Daniel Ebanks, Creative Director at Alpha Channel said: “Blistering, eviscerating combat is at TankRat’s core, but we’ve also infused it with what we love as a studio – the Tankrats are a homage to miniature ‘kitbashing’, the world is an ode to 20th century sci-fi, and playing the game feels like mech action at its finest. We’re psyched to let players get their hands on these and geek out about the same things we do. See you in the ECA.”

Sleepwalkers. Deploy in January. Wishlist now.

Atari and Springloaded Announce RollerCoaster Tycoon Wonderworks; PC Early Access Begins This Winter

A new generation of theme park simulation blends deep management, creative freedom and delightful chaos

NEW YORK – Aug. 25, 2026Atari and Springloaded today revealed RollerCoaster Tycoon Wonderworks during gamescom Opening Night Live, a brand new entry in the RollerCoaster Tycoon franchise. RollerCoaster Tycoon Wonderworks will enter PC early access on Steam for $24.99 / € 24.99 this winter.

RollerCoaster Tycoon Wonderworks combines the deep theme park simulation and recognizable isometric perspective that made the series enduringly popular with Springloaded’s playful humor, expanded customization, streamlined management tools and new emergent gameplay systems. Whether meticulously crafting the perfect park or watching carefully laid plans spiral into hilarious catastrophe, every decision shapes a bustling park where guests, rides and operations react in unexpected ways.

“From the beginning, our vision was to imagine what RollerCoaster Tycoon would look like if it were designed today while staying true to the systems that made players fall in love with the original games. That idea guided every decision we made,” said James Barnard, founder and lead developer at Springloaded. “We wanted to preserve the satisfaction of building thriving parks, designing unforgettable coasters and solving the management challenges that keep everything running, while introducing new systems that create memorable stories every time you play. Whether everything runs perfectly or descends into complete chaos, those moments become part of your park’s story.”

Springloaded are known for developing charming simulation titles that push the boundaries of the genre, including the critically acclaimed Let’s Build a Zoo. For the development of RollerCoaster Tycoon Wonderworks, the studio introduced a unique visual aesthetic to the franchise, with buildings and park decorations that look like highly-detailed, miniature plastic models. The net effect is a tabletop model park that has come to life. The gameplay in RollerCoaster Tycoon Wonderworks preserves the depth, charm and unmistakable personality that have defined the series. The game lets players:

  • Build and Manage Theme Parks: Design sprawling parks from the series’ signature isometric perspective while balancing guest satisfaction, finances, rides and operations … and meeting the expectations of your corporate bosses.
  • Design Breathtaking Coasters: An overhauled coaster builder lets players intuitively design, adjust, test, and deploy coasters. But don’t forget to finish the track before turning it live 😉
  • Deep, Approachable Simulation: Every guest, employee and operational system works together, creating a living world of meaningful management decisions and surprising outcomes.
  • Discover your Inner Engineer: An accurate physics engine drives the behaviour of rides, so each design, upgrade and maintenance decision you make will be put to the test.
  • Customize Every Attraction: Personalize rides, scenery, decorations and park layouts to create a one-of-a-kind theme park.
  • Embrace the Chaos: Experience unexpected gameplay moments, including ride breakdowns, operational mishaps and coaster catastrophes that transform even well-planned parks into unforgettable stories.

For longtime fans, RollerCoaster Tycoon Wonderworks preserves the humor, layered management systems and rewarding park design that helped establish the franchise as one of gaming’s defining simulation series. New players can quickly build impressive parks thanks to more approachable systems while still discovering the strategic depth that has kept RollerCoaster Tycoon relevant for more than 25 years.

RollerCoaster Tycoon is a franchise that has deep meaning to fans, many of whom have played these games for a decade or more,” said Wade Rosen, Chairman and CEO of Atari. “We are very excited to invite fans into the development process and we are looking forward to hearing player’s reactions and feedback during the early access phase.”

Upon conclusion of early access, Atari plans to release the completed RollerCoaster Tycoon Wonderworks on both PC and console. More details can be found at atari.com

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – August 25, 2026 – Skillprint today launched Skillprint Flow, an API and toolset that gives game studios a new revenue stream from gameplay they already generate. Flow analyzes non-identifying gameplay data and transforms it into structured human-performance data that helps data partners understand how real people think, learn, adapt, and make decisions, with the goal of building AI that can better understand and augment human capability. Skillprint works with AI labs and other organizations seeking human behavioral data and shares 50% of the resulting data revenue with participating game studios.

The Flow platform runs in the background without introducing new ads or content and gives game studios real-time intelligence into how players experience their games. Beyond revenue, Flow gives developers new signals into player cognition, mood, personality, and flow state. Studios can use this intelligence to understand where players are highly engaged, frustrated, or losing interest and, through Adaptive Play, define how elements such as difficulty and pacing respond in real time.

“Game studios generate valuable human-performance data every time someone plays their games, but today they capture very little of its potential value,” said Chethan Ramachandran, co-founder and CEO of Skillprint. “Skillprint Flow gives studios a way to participate in the growing market for human behavioral data while accessing a new non-ad revenue stream from their gameplay, while also gaining intelligence they can use to better understand and adapt the player experience. We believe this creates a better model where AI gets smarter, studios share in the value, and the underlying data ultimately helps us build AI that works better with people.”

Data that captures and measures how real people think, feel and decide is scarce and increasingly valuable because it can’t be simply scraped from the web or synthesized. Game studios generate these human-performance signals every day but historically have captured none of their value. Flow changes that by transforming gameplay into measurable human-performance intelligence in real-time and at scale.

Skillprint provides this enriched dataset along with a toolkit to its Flow partners at no cost, including a real-time dashboard; a player Flow Score, a per-player, per-session read on flow state that shows exactly where players drop off; and Adaptive Play, which tunes difficulty and pacing in real time to keep players in the flow zone, challenged but not frustrated, engaged but not bored. This intelligence isn’t just a dashboard; studios can act on it inside the game itself.

Skillprint Flow is built on more than 800 game-based cognitive studies, over 500,000 player sessions and over 1,000 games. It maps more than 150 game mechanics to mood, personality, and cognition, and captures 1,200 data points per session, measuring 14 cognitive skills, 9 moods, 5 personality traits, and 3 flow states. The same underlying human-performance intelligence also powers Skillprint Signal, the company recently launched a benchmark for measuring how effectively AI models improve human outcomes. Signal uses that intelligence to evaluate AI; Flow enables game studios to generate it at scale.

Together, Signal and Flow reflect Skillprint’s broader thesis that the next phase of AI should focus not only on making models more capable, but on improving how humans and AI perform together.

Skillprint Flow is designed as a lightweight integration for Unity, Unreal, JavaScript, and HTML5 games, with minimal engineering required. Skillprint Flow is available now to game studio partners at docs.skillprint.co.
