Retro-inspired survival horror sequel “Tormented Souls 2” launches October 23rd 2025!

PQube (London, UK) – 20th August, 2025 – Prepare to enter an entirely new nightmare in Tormented Souls 2 coming to Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Epic Games Store, and GOG.com on 23rd October 2025!

To celebrate the impending release of this chilling throwback to classic survival horror, PQube and Dual Effect have partnered with the Future Games Show at Gamescom 2025 to showcase a pulse-pounding new gameplay trailer, and reveal first details of the monstrous bosses that Caroline will encounter while exploring the hellish ‘Other side’ of Villa Hess.

In the wake of her sister Anna’s traumatic abduction at the hands of Mother Lucia and her twisted cult, Caroline Walker finds herself trapped deep within the walls of a maze-like convent. With the darkness closing in, Caroline is unexpectedly reacquainted with her old friend, the pneumatic nailer, and so begins a desperate struggle to escape the unholy place.

But once free of the convent, the true horror of the secluded Villa Hess reveals itself and Caroline must again call upon her supernatural abilities to travel to the town’s mysterious ‘Other side’ and face the formidable creatures that await within…

In the original Tormented Souls it was Caroline’s latent supernatural powers that allowed her to utilise mirrors and video tapes to traverse between alternate realities and timelines to ultimately save Anna from her cruel fate.

In Tormented Souls 2, Caroline will continue to embrace these powers as she steps into Villa Hess’ mysterious ‘Other side’ and ‘replays’ memories stored on video tapes. Crucially Caroline’s actions in these locations will directly affect the current timeline in Villa Hess, while revealing more about the town’s dark history.

Only the foulest and most dangerous creatures reside within the ‘Other side’ and Caroline must be extra vigilant when exploring this twisted new reality. Deadliest of all are beings of immense power that have gorged on the misery and corruption that envelops the region.

Wielding a huge crucifix and protected by a heavy plated mask, the Iron Maiden is a hulking behemoth and cruel disciplinarian who administers punishment amongst the convent’s sisterhood.

Meanwhile, deep beneath the stinking halls of the Wildberger & Hess Fish Processing Plant sleeps The Harvester, a terrifying fusion of twisted metal and scorched flesh. Armed with a lethal buzzsaw and gaping maw filled with razor sharp teeth, this subterranean horror seems impervious to all but the heaviest of weapons.

Following the harrowing events at Wildberger Hospital, Caroline Walker hopes for a normal life with her sister, Anna. Yet in the months that follow, Anna is haunted by visions of violence and death, compelling her to create disturbing drawings that rapidly manifest into horrifying reality.

Desperate to free her of this affliction, Caroline travels to the remote town of Villa Hess and a mysterious clinic nestled deep within the mountains of southern Chile. But behind the warm smiles of the facility’s serene staff lies a sickening truth, and the sisters soon find themselves at the center of an entirely new nightmare…

  • Welcome to Villa Hess – Explore a huge variety of unnerving locations within the town, including a shadowy convent, a derelict shopping mall, and an abandoned school.
  • Alter your fate – Harness your supernatural powers to switch between realities, change the past to reshape the present, and search for alternate paths forward in the nightmarish ‘Other side’.
  • Fight to survive – Collect and modify an arsenal of makeshift weapons such as the nailer and chainsaw, and utilize the new quick select feature to switch armaments in the heat of battle.
  • Mind-bending puzzles – Examine, manipulate, and combine items to reveal hidden information, and forge connections between objects and the environment to solve intricately designed puzzles.
  • Death surrounds you – Face off against lethal new enemies, from skittering bladed horrors to hulking armored abominations, and use your wits to survive monstrous boss encounters.
  • Shrouded in mystery – Peel back the layers of a complex story full of twists and revelations. Encounter and cooperate with other characters each with their own agenda and dark secrets.
  • Flexible gameplay options – Relive the classic fixed-camera survival horror of the 90s with limited saves and tank controls, or switch to assisted mode for a more casual experience.

Tormented Souls 2 is coming to Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Epic Games Store, and GOG.com on October 23rd 2025. Steam demo available now!

Streumon Studio is Back With a New First-Person-Slasher: Rip Through the Depths of Chaos in the Gorgeous, Void-Touched Daimon Blades Next Month

Relentless monstrosities await – carve a path through the realms of primordial chaos with steel and flame in solo & co-op modes

PARIS (Aug. 20, 2025) – Streumon Studio (E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy) has pierced the veil of an ancient, corrupted dimension today with the announcement of Daimon Blades, a daimonic first-person slasher where steel meets sin. Lead the scorched legions spawned from the abyssal entropy to their final reckoning alone or with a steel-clad group of four as you take up arms as a member of the Secreta, a shadowy cult of warrior monks sworn to contain the rising tide of daimonic incursions. Daimon Blades is set in the universe of Streumon’s breakout E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy and hits PC via Steam Early Access on Sept. 3 (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1869500/DAIMON_BLADES).

Bear witness to the unholy carnage in the bone-splintering announcement trailer.

To survive the cursed expeditions of the Daimon Realms, players must loot, craft and evolve their daimon-slaying champions into true hellborn executioners in this RPG-infused first-person slasher. Along the way, they’ll face a relentless and ever-mutating bestiary of twisted Daimons bred in the wombs of chaos, each wielding distinct tactics that demand constant vigilance and adaptability. Wield your weapon of destruction, be it a flame-spewing sword, a bloodstained battle axe or a hammer that pulverizes bone to dust, and carve your name into the shifting dimensions as thunderous metal anthems drive your rampage.

Dark, visceral worlds are nothing new to Streumon. After emerging from the modding scene of the early 2000s, the team launched its first commercial title, E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy, a million-selling cyberpunk RPG shooter that quickly earned a cult following. The studio went on to spill blood across the grimdark universe of Warhammer 40,000, developing Space Hulk: Deathwing and Necromunda: Hired Gun.

Now, Streumon returns to its independent roots as developer and publisher of Daimon Blades, following a strategic move to reacquire full ownership of the studio in an era dominated by acquisitions and mergers. This renewed independence reflects the team’s deep commitment to creative control and quality. With Daimon Blades, Streumon is forging a bold new co-op slasher, shaped by experience and driven by uncompromised vision.
