Deus Ex: Mankind Divided launch date revealed

Player Choice Prevails with Augment Your Pre-Order Campaign; Collector’s Edition Unveiled

MONTREAL (August 31, 2015)Square Enix Inc. and Eidos-Montréal® announced today thatDeus Ex: Mankind Divided®, the highly-anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed Deus Ex: Human Revolution®, will officially launch globally on February 23, 2016 for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and Windows PC.

Square Enix also revealed “Augment Your Pre-Order” – the channel wide pre-order campaign for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, in which increasing tiers of pre-order bonuses will be unlocked as more copies of the game are reserved, worldwide in select countries. The campaign will give fans an opportunity to collectively expand and enhance their own customized Day One Edition of the newest entry in the Deus Ex® franchise. In the spirit of emphasizing player choice, fans will be able to choose which pre-order bonuses they will receive from each unlocked tier. In addition the fans will have the opportunity to shift the official release date early by 4 days.

Augment Your Pre-Order Campaign Details:

TIER 1 – ONE ITEM PER PRE-ORDER (UNLOCKED FOR EVERYONE ON AUG. 31)
Choose between three Starter Packs that cater to stealth, aggressive or nostalgic players.
·         Intruder Pack – Provides a custom-skinned version of Adam Jensen’s trench coat and pistol with a silencer, laser sight, recoil and accuracy upgrades. Other bonuses include two EMP grenades, five packs of 10MM pistol ammo, 1000 credits and a Praxis point for early augmentations.
·         Enforcer Pack – Includes a custom-skinned version of Adam Jensen’s combat armor and combat rifle with a holosight, reload and capacity upgrades. Players will also receive two HE grenades, five packs of 5.56MM combat rifle ammo, 1000 credits and a Praxis Point for early augmentations
·         Classic Pack – Grants access to Adam Jensen’s iconic combat armor, trench coat and revolver from Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Players will also receive an extra pack of revolver Ammo.

TIER 2 – ONE ITEM PER PRE-ORDER
Pick between one of two bonuses that further immerse players into the game world – a digital art book that shows the aesthetic of the game, or a digital OST sampler with six tracks from award winning composer Michael McCann.

TIER 3 – AVAILABLE FOR EVERYONE
Unlock the “Desperate Measures” pre-order mission in which Adam returns to the epicenter of the Ruzicka Train Station explosion and must rely on his augmentations and covert operative skills to unveil the true culprit responsible for the bombing.

TIER 4 – ONE ITEM PER PRE-ORDER
Get an in-depth look at the Deus Ex universe with a digital comic book that dives deeper into the game’s global conspiracies, or with a novella that follows iconic characters from Deus Ex: Human Revolution with new and unknown details on their lives.

TIER 5 – AVAILABLE FOR EVERYONE
For the first time in the franchise’s history, if players meet this tier, the game will release four days before the official release date.

Treyarch’s Black Ops III Beta Sets New Standard as the #1 Beta on PlayStation 4

Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax Opening Movie Released in English

Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax is currently set to be released on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita on October 6th in North America and now Sega has released the English opening video for the game that has been modified a bit from the original. The opening video gives fans a quick glance at the cast of playable characters, the many assist characters that can be brought into battle, and a few of the stages that you’ll be fighting in.

Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax features characters from popular Dengeki Bunko light novels such as A Certain Magical Index, Shakugan no Shana, Oreimo, Sword Art Online, and many more.

Hitman ‘Showstopper’ Mission Playthrough Video Released

Today Square Enix has released a fifteen minute long gameplay video for Hitman where a member of IO Interactive makes their way through the entire Parisian ‘Showstopper’ mission. It is worth noting that the video does not contain much in the way of spoilers but instead focuses on showing off the various elements of the core Hitman experience, such as preparing properly, using disguises, and various other methods of hiding in plain sight to give the player numerous ways to try and approach an obstacle.

Hitman is currently set to be released as a digital download on December 8th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC with more missions, locations, and targets to be relesed throughout 2016.

English Character Trailers Released for Persona 4: Dancing All Night’s Margaret and Nanako

This time around Atlus USA has released two new English character trailers for Persona 4: Dancing All Night and the characters spotlighted this time around happen to be Persona 4’s protagonist’s cousin Nanako Dojima as well as the Velvet Room inhabitant Margaret.

You can check out both of their gameplay trailers below alongside a number of screenshots that show off some of the strange costumes that they will be able to wear. As for the game itself, Persona 4: Dancing All Night will be released for the PS Vita on September 29th in North Ameria and November 6th in Europe.

Arslan: The Warriors of Legend Trailer Adds Three New Characters

Koei Tecmo has been rather quiet with Arslan: The Warriors of Legend in the West after announcing that the title would be released in North America and Europe in early 2016. Thankfully since the title is still set to be released on October 1st in Japan the Japanese branch has continued to release new footage of Arslan: The Warriors of Legend and in this latest trailer we see that Hilmes, Xandes, and Jaswant are now confirmed to be playable characters.

Besides showing off these new characters a number of gameplay elements are also shown off in some form in the trailer that you can check out below. As for the game itself, when released in the West it will be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and an Xbox One version that will be exclusive for the West.

LawBreakers’ Debut Gameplay Trailer Introduces Classes

It seems like every shooter nowadays needs to have some kind of aerial movement system and while it has spiced things up, it also means that most of these first person shooters are starting to feel extremely similar to one another by jamming it in anywhere they can.

Well with Cliff Bleszinski’s new shooter LawBreakers also featuring aerial movement the developer has released the first bit of gameplay footage meant to not only introduce the four playable classes in the game, Assassin, Breacher, Skirmisher, and Titan, but also how each one has a unique ability to allow them to navigate around the map faster with some really neat looking ideas being implemented, including the Assassin’s grappling hook.

Currently the free-to-play LawBreakers is set for release sometime in 2016 and you can check out the aforementioned trailer below.

Star Wars Battlefront’s Free ‘Battle of Jakku’ DLC Screenshots Released

In case you haven’t heard, Star Wars Battlefront will be given a free DLC map a couple of weeks after the game is released on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on November 17th and it happens to be called the ‘Battle of Jakku’ downloadable map.

This DLC will be available for download for anyone who pre-ordered the game starting on December 1st and then on December 8th for everyone else. To provide players a sample of what to expect, EA has released two teaser screenshots showing off the Battle of Jakku map which is described as a pivotal moment when the New Republic confronted Imperial holdouts on a remote desert planet.
