Florence + The Machine covers classic “Stand By Me” for “FINAL FANTASY XV”

LOS ANGELES (31^st March 2016) – Earlier tonight, SQUARE ENIX® announced that Florence Welch of the Grammy-nominated and two time Mercury Music Prize shortlisted Florence + the Machine has created her own rendition of the Ben E. King classic “Stand By Me” to soundtrack the new trailer for the highly anticipated video game FINAL FANTASY® XV.

“I’ve always seen FINAL FANTASY as mythical, beautiful and epic,” said Florence Welch when speaking on recording her rendition of the track. “‘Stand by Me’ is one of the greatest songs probably of all time and you can’t really improve on it, you just have to make it your own. For me it was just about bringing the song into the world of Florence + the Machine and the world of FINAL FANTASY.”

Story

Mindfield Games Announces April 20 Release Date for Space Exploration Adventure P.O.L.L.E.N

Complete PC game will be available on Steam, near-final VR beta version will be playable on Oculus Rift

It will also be available that day on Oculus Rift as a near-final VR beta, which will be fully optimized with updates shortly after release.
