Christopher Tin Composing Title Theme For Sid Meier’s Civilization VI

2K and Firaxis Games today announced Christopher Tin is the composer of the title theme for  Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, launching on October 21^st for Windows PC.

Famed for his composing of the only piece of video game music to win a Grammy Award, the title theme to  Sid Meier’s Civilization IV ‘Baba Yetu’, Tin returns to the franchise to compose for  Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, called ‘Sogno di Volare’ (The Dream of Flight).

“I wanted to write a piece that captured the essence of exploration”, said two time Grammy Award winning composer Christopher Tin, “both the physical exploration of seeking new lands, but also the mental exploration of expanding the frontiers of science and philosophy.”

The world premiere of ‘Sogno di Volare’ will take place at the Cadogan Hall in London, England on July 19th. Tin will be accompanied by Britain’s National Orchestra, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, The Angel City Chorale (US), Prima Vocal Ensemble (UK) and Lucis (UK). Alongside the performance of ‘Sogno di Volare’ will be a rendition of ‘Baba Yetu’, making this event unmissable for any fan of the Civilization series.

Real-Time, Party Based RPG Receives Significant Content Update for iOS and Android

Medal Masters’ ‘Call of Destiny’ update gives players and fans of the real-time, party-based RPG enhanced gameplay and brand new experiences with the addition of new challenging battles and bigger hero enemies. Medal Master players can now experience a brand new adventure as they journey to save more than 388 different heroes, collect medals, and become the ultimate medal master. The game is available in 12 languages, including Korean, English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, German, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian.

Medal Masters is available for download now via mobile device from the App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android worldwide.

July 11, 2016 – Call of Duty® is returning to Comic-Con! On July 21^st, Activision and Infinity Ward, along with Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller will take fans behind-the scenes of the rich narrative in Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare.  The 60-minute panel will debut never-before-seen footage from the game’s all-new story and unpack the creative process of crafting the campaign.  Members of the studio and cast will share new details and provide a glimpse into the ‘making-of’ the unforgettable journey players will undertake when Infinite Warfare launches worldwide this November 4^th.

The panel will take place on Thursday, July 21^st at 1:00pm in room 6BCF.  Panelists include:
